So finished a great break to Iceland with a return 3 years since we were last here. The Apotek restaurant doesn’t disappoint, the food was…and this in my mind a measure of how great it was, the best meal to finish off a great holiday. Service was great from the start, the waitress Helena (a fellow Brit), was superb in her attentiveness was superb, great conversation and an asset to the restaurant. Anyhow, they cater for coeliacs and can easily provide gluten free food options. Trust me you won’t be disappointed, well I hope note. Try it and I hope you have an equally high quality culinary experience. When we return, dare I say it, it’ll be a return all being well.

Very good cuisine😁, the dishes are neat and the taste is really there. The waitresses are kind to explain to us based on a dietary restriction. Quite expensive for a dish with 6 potatoes. The menu is quite short in choice and that's good because the fewer there are, the better the dish. The desserts all look delicious but very few are gluten-free.

After the road, just such a little break. The yellow house attracts my curiosity, the place and the service are impeccable, the owners are super nice and helped me to eat gluten-free and a little extra because they know how to speak a little French. Even the pastries are gluten free or vegan. P8The dishes are delicious😋, we can only give five stars to congratulate such an establishment! A very pleasant place, very comfortable, not noisy! They have a large interior on 2 floors and a beautiful terrace! Stop for a break 😁😁

The staff was so friendly! I heard the barista talk to the customers before me about great cafes and restaurants for vegan and gluten free diets, which I think is really nice. The cafe was very aesthetic too with lots of seating and in the middle of the main street in Reykjavik. I got the iced matcha latte and it was honestly one of the best matcha lattes I've had. Every bite of each meal was delectable. I was skeptical of the veggie burger as usually in many restaurants it is dry and tasteless, but this is the best one I ever had in my life. So much flavor in the veggie burger. I highly recommend it. The staff is very nice and social, we had a little chat as well and they are all very helpful. The tea and coffee are complimentary which is very kind of them. There are many tasty options for people with dietary restrictions: options for vegans, vegetarians, lactose free and I believe even gluten free but I am not 100% sure. Highly recommend eating here as it is just so worth it.

Saved my life! It's a pub, the food is not as fancy as in a restaurant, but after a couple of days of traveling, this is exactly what was needed. Overall, the atmosphere was pretty cool! We had a hearty, hot meal on a rainy day. We tried the lamb, beef stew, and iclanding stew - everyone was happy. It was simple but very good. At the time of our visit, there were there gluten free options - beef stew, lamb chops, and arctic char.

We had so much fun here! My wife and I are visiting Iceland for our honeymoon and had to stop here as we were missing our kitty cats back home. The cats at this cafe are clearly well-loved and we had a great time getting to spend time with them. The beverages were good and so were the pastries. I had a delicious vegan and gluten-free raspberry cake that I will be dreaming about for days to come! The space is small so I would not recommend bringing a group larger than 4. They even sell some merchandise such as shirts, stickers, and artwork! We will be back next time we are in Iceland!
