So glad we dined here while staying in the Temple Bar section of Dublin! Server was very knowledgeable about gluten free items and helped me with the menu, I had the fish and chips and my friend had the Shepards pie! Both were amazing! I had a local gf beer and drinks were delicious! Highly recommend, and I will definitely return!

We had 3 people in our party and only one had a good food experience. Unfortunately, the 2.people that ordered gluten free pasta dishes were served extremely boring dishes with no flavor and absolutely no attempt at presentation. The gluten free pasta dishes looked like something from a children's menu - no exaggeration, I promise. My dish, Penne Regine All’Arrabbiata, was tasty and well presented. I enjoyed it! Service was attentive. Atmosphere was ok. Tables were close together, somewhat unnecessarily since there was plenty of space in the restaurant. We will not be returning.
A tiny gem in Dublin with jaw-dropping coffee art, a crowd-pleasing menu, and lively outdoor seating that offers a cozy vibe.

I went on Sunday Easter for brunch and even I have forgotten to make a reservation I was lucky and got a table, I had a gluten free Irish breakfast and the food was very good, I also had a chai latte made with oat milk and it’s one off my favorites now.
I definitely will come back there, there was a gluten free cake but I couldn’t try.

My favourite place to grab coffee and cakes. Yes they taste all good and yes vegan or not, if you want something lactose free, gluten free and enjoy the taste this is the place. Lovely upstairs as well. It is usually very busy so you just grab a tray, get your food and then you grab your sit. Prices are the average for Dublin, so yes I recommend it.
Charming spot with a vibrant atmosphere, offering hearty portions and a variety of delicious options that will satisfy any craving.

As a Brazilian, this is a must-go-to spot. They have plenty of delicious and authentic food. Tapiocas are great and have proper legitimate ingredients. Their coffees are insanely good, and if you have a sweet tooth like me, you have to try their paçoca hot chocolate – trust me on this one.
They’re constantly busy but once you’re sat it’s very quick and easy to order. They have multiple vegan and gluten, dairy, allergen free options. Paradise!
This is one of the few spots in Dublin you can find a casadinho and their pão de queijo is the best in town (according to me and all my friends). Their meals are also spectacular, cuscuz, feijoada, you name it!
I do think €3 is a bit much for a singular brigadeiro or pão de queijo as the ingredients are cheap and they’re very quick and easy to make. Not an unusual thing in Temple Bar area and other Brazilian spots as well though. Alas, I keep coming back for the quality.

Really upset with this place. We asked very clearly if a pastry was gluten-free, and the guy at the counter told us yes without hesitation. Turns out it wasn’t. My sister, who has celiac disease, ate it and felt awful the entire day.
This isn’t a small mistake — this is someone’s health. If you don’t know whether something is gluten-free, don’t say it is. It’s careless and dangerous. Totally unacceptable.
Known for its unique and delicious offerings, this inviting gem features a bright atmosphere, outdoor seating, and a menu that appeals to diverse diets.

A very delicious brunch with several gluten-free options! I recommend the dulce de leche crepes, a success
However, by mistake they served us gluten-free crepes with gluten-containing cookies on top. A very serious error that does not usually occur here, but it is important to keep a better eye on it, and that Mayte solved with efficiency and humor, thank you!
Otherwise, good service and lovely staff

The place is so cute and friendly! The service was wonderful but the food was just ok. As mentioned below:
Latte & Cappuccino: 7/10
Pancakes: 6/10
Shakshouka: 8/10
The pancakes were gluten free and grainy and not very sweet. They were also really thick which made it difficult for flavor to come through. The Shakshouka was the standout with strong flavors and a very Mediterranean taste. The bread was really strongly paired. I feel like it could have been enhanced with more eggs or a more diverse flavor profile. The drinks were good, but could be warmer on a chilly day.

I used to come here all the time as a coeliac, until today when I came in and was told that there were no longer coeliac safe meals, that even chips couldn’t be made gluten free because everything was made in the same oil? This is beyond disappointing as D&G was one of the only safe coeliac places that I could eat in, and the only breakfast place I could safely enjoy until now. The waiters were all extremely stressed and some even irritable when asked about it. I don’t understand how a restaurant could sell out like this? When they had such a strong clientele of coeliacs. Why would they suddenly change and put everything in the same oil? I’m so disappointed. I couldn’t eat a thing.

The vegan gluten-free pancakes I had here on 18 Feb 2025 were one of the most delicious meals I have ever had! I have been dreaming about them ever since: juicy pears and berries over pancakes that were soft on the inside and slightly crunchy on the outside. Sheer perfection! The photo doesn't do them justice. Come eat here if you can. I would be back in a heartbeat if I weren't on the other side of the Atlantic.

Absolutely lovely café with excellent food, just perfect if you've finished walking around the Hellfire Club. Staff are friendly, and the rustic decor is inspired by the Timber store. Outdoor seating and indoor seating available. The food was excellent, as was the tea. I can highly recommend the bacon/sausage/pudding sandwich and the Banoffee pie. There were vegan and vegetarian options, with Gluten free options for the celiacs.

Went for lunch with my pal and the two of us had a great meal. I'm gluten free and have been twice before with family, always have a great experience. I would really recommend to coeliacs because the staff are really knowledgeable and the gluten free food is top notch too. Great for breakfast, lunch, or whatever you're having yourself!

A lovely lil lunch spot hidden in dublin city located at chester beatty. Good food, great service, staffs were very friendly and helpful, They explained everything very well and the price was reasonable. They have a lot of food options from main course to dessert including vegetarian and gluten free. I ordered the stuffed aubergine with the sides of rice/salad. A very nice art of latte and delicious cake for my end meal. I will definitely come back to this one of the amazing middle eastern restaurant called SILKROAD CAFE. :)

A must visit while in Dublin! We came here for Brunch and it was SO GOOD. We chose here because of the reviews and reputation, but also because of the various Vegan and Gluten Free options offered which I need due to allergies. The pancakes are AMAZING, the service is top notch, and the place itself its super cozy and cute.

This place is lovely, had a great sandwich, but their gluten free bread is no substitute for sourdough bread, tasted seriously awful. It’s a very limp pita-like texture, extremely thin and no flavor, kind of like eating a wet paper towel. Wouldn’t eat here again until they replaced that bread on their sandwiches as someone with a gluten intolerance, otherwise flavors were really good so it was disappointing. Nice staff and atmosphere otherwise.

Our visit to Bewleys earlier today is best forgotten. It was not the experience I was expecting.
The service was less than average. My order was wrong and the food was only luke warm. When I queried the order, the waiter maintained that he'd told me something that he hadn't plus he assumed I was gluten intolerant because I asked for gf toast. Based on this assumption, he decided that I didn't need the boxty on my plate. He then proceeded to tell me that he'd told my friend that they had no boxty, only hash browns, which he also failed to mention when taking the order. To add insult to injury, I told him to bring me the hash browns. They never arrived by the time I'd finished eating. I don't expect any waiter to speak to me in the tone that this man did.
I paid €16.95 for 2 poached eggs, a small portion of smashed avocado, 1 tomato, a tablespoon of beans and 2 small pieces of gf toast. If the hash browns had actually arrived, the toast would have been extra! Tea is also extra at a whopping €4.50. It's a tea bag in a small pot of water! A flat white cost €4.95; tasty but not worth that plus I waited an eternity for it to arrive, having had to ask for it a second time. I was then told by the waitress that it was on its way. I doubt it takes over 15 minutes to make a flat white.
I will never eat here again. The prices are
outrageous and the food wasn't anything special. The restaurant was very busy and all I could think of was, fools and their money, myself included.

I love this cafe and go nearly every day, the coffee and tea's great and I also love the gluten free cakes, the staff are super friendly but I've noticed a staff member who I am assuming is in a managerial position being quite rude to the other staff. I don't see him often but today I was quite disappointed to overhear how he was talking to the girls making the coffee and I just felt that there was a tense atmosphere so that's something I think can be worked on as it does give quite a bad impression.

We both had the avocado toast and agreed it was delicious and for a decent price too given the location. I'm coeliac and the man who took our order knew immediately what contained gluten and what could be substituted without any hesitation which was very reassuring! Excellent service and lovely atmosphere
Delicious cakes and coffee and amazing staff. Gluten free breakfast options available too. I’ve been told they are dog friendly, but when we went we didn’t bring them with us so can’t confirm.
