Went here for a brunch meal, it was very busy so be prepared to come back later when it quietens down. We had the pancakes and Waffles and everything is gluten free and so delicious! Highly recommend

Very expensive price unjustifiable with the quality of the dishes. Very basic Greek salad, with lettuce leaves without even cutting them and almost without dressing €14.5. The most expensive French toast I've seen in Porto with slices of sirloin that were too thick and tough. The bland cod cakes. The Caldo verde was worth €9 when we ate it elsewhere for €2.5. In short, a place to avoid since they use the excuse of gluten-free to scare tourists and on top of that there is no air conditioning.

Such a wonderful place! An oasis in tourist hell. Everything is delicious, gluten-free, dairy-free, and even vegan. The people are super friendly and the place, especially with the garden in the back, is absolutely beautiful! Thank you!!

A great pizzeria, with super friendly service from the very first moment. David, the owner, is charming and makes you feel at home. If you have celiac disease or an egg allergy, this is an ideal place: they have many gluten-free and egg-free options that are safe and delicious.

I emailed them about my allergies and about cross contamination and they emailed back "Hello, Paulina! We have several gluten-free and vegan options on the menu. From tapioca, salads, smoothie bowls, shakshuka, pancakes, etc. We'd also like to inform you that all toasts can be served on gluten-free bread or with a baked sweet potato base instead of traditional bread. Very nice brunch at Noshi! We enjoyed the ambiance and natural lighting of the patio, and you also have a couple of different options of where to sit down. We ordered a couple of drinks and food. The golden milk was on the sweeter side so keep that in mind! Also, even though the orange juice said natural, I felt that they had added sugar to it. We also ordered the vegan toast, delicious gluten free bread, wonderful balance of flavors and textures, we both enjoyed it very much. We also got the chia pudding which was great as well, nice proportions of fruit and jam. The service was alright. Attention was a little slow, maybe it was busy, and our server had little patience with us that day when I was asking questions, but thats alright. Would definitely return to try more goodies!

Ingredients were good quality and price was reasonable, but ordering was a nightmare and despite getting a market plate and an extra side, I left still hungry. I asked whether the chicken dish I ordered was gluten free and was told yes, but it arrived covered in breadcrumbs. Additionally, I was brought the wrong order twice before they got it right, including the second time where they added bread despite me clearly asking for the salad because it was gluten free. Others with allergens here should keep in mind that although some other allergens are labeled clearly, gluten is not.

Had a lovely meal here. Great for gluten fee, knowledgeable friendly staff, menu clearly labelled and staff confirmed all orders to be sure all gluten free. Had the mozzarella salad, delicious squid and amazing duck risotto. Very small resturant on the water front. Seating outside with about 5 tables for 2 inside.

It's super good, the food is delicious and very reasonably priced. One drawback is that if you're celiac or gluten-intolerant, it's quite exhausting to be charged the difference and an extra 1 euro. It just doesn't make sense. Otherwise, everything is delicious, the atmosphere is super nice, and so is the place.

Amazing gluten free brunch. Fresh ingredients and a peaceful space to enjoy in. Ordered the scrambled eggs, came with a gluten free cracker instead of sourdough which was turnout out to be a nice substitute and the whole meal was very filling.

Really enjoyed this place, there was a big variety of food and a good atmosphere. A good place for a first date or just for an affordable dinner. All-you-can-eat lettuce was a godsend in this gluten-full, pastry-for-breakfast/lunch/dinner continent. Great place, extremely recommend.

Mercador Café & Brunch in Porto is a gem for those looking for a cozy place with a modern atmosphere. The service was super friendly and fast. I enjoyed a delicious açaí with fruits, which was fresh and very well presented. 🍓🫐 In addition, they offer gluten-free bread, which is a great plus for those who need it. Their coffee is excellent and perfect to accompany their varied menu, which includes fresh and healthy dishes. 🥑🍳 The decoration of the place is elegant, ideal for relaxing or having a good time. Although the prices may be a little high, the quality justifies it. Without a doubt, a place that I recommend for a quiet and tasty brunch in the heart of Porto.

We stumbled upon this wonderful venue to escape the rain. Then we were enchanted. We enjoyed an excellent wine tasting and made some great friends with other guests. When we asked about a celiac-friendly restaurant, we were promptly invited to the restaurant at the back of the shop. We could hardly believe the dreamy ambiance that awaited us. This was followed by an unforgettable dinner with wine pairing. When we left the venue several hours later, it was still raining, but our mood couldn't have been better. We left slightly tipsy and with our stomachs full of delicious food. A very special thank you goes to the entire service team. We haven't experienced such excellent, attentive, and friendly service in a long time. We will definitely be back.

A place I will definitely return to. Coming for a birthday dinner, my choice was for this restaurant given these superb reviews! And I was not disappointed. You will be welcomed in this small restaurant with typical Italian food with service worthy of a starred restaurant. Remember to book because their reputation is well established and therefore it is complicated to be able to sit down without prior reservation. And I had the joy of discovering that they had gluten-free options (and they are the best I have eaten!), they also have plenty of lactose-free options for our intolerant friends. Carbonara like in Italy, a pistachio tiramisu to hell, quality service and a lovely team! Thanks again to them for this welcome and this service which allowed us to end our trip to Portugal on a delicious note!

We ordered two takeaway pistachio matchas for €14.30. We asked for one gluten free and one with oat milk. They gave us the gluten free one with oat milk (which is not gluten free). This meant that we had to scrape the cookie and pistachio cream off my celiac friend’s drink and onto mine as she is allergic. It also took us 20 minutes to receive the drinks and the sizes were incredibly small. Not worth the money. We had also seen them bring out the dine in drink with the pistachio cookie advertised but instead we got a small biscoff cookie for some reason.

I had walked by this place many times and finally stopped in yesterday. I am gluten free (celiac) and so I was just expecting to get a coffee and fruit or something simple. To my surprise and delight, they have GLUTEN FREE bread!!!! I had a delicious eggs benedict-type-thing with poached eggs, spinach and tomato chutney. It was amazing. I know I will go back a lot since it is close to home now. So happy to have wandered in.

The staff is extremely friendly and I think the food would have been ok. I asked to confirm what was gluten free. The cook said I could have the hake it came out without any seasoning at all. Bland and a bit over cooked. My friend fish was delicious tho

McDonald's in Portugal has several gluten-free options. McDonald's in Leça doesn't have any gluten-free options. Shameful!! In addition to the unfriendliness of the person who served me and his indifference. Terrible service!!

Best breakfast in Porto! 🌞 A happy place to enjoy breakfast or brunch, lovely people and great atmosphere. Just like a sunshine! Local ingredients, seasonal food, simple yet not plain dishes. Eggs were fresh and well prepared, sourdough was really good. Highly recommend the cheesecake also. Service was the friendliest and quickest we experienced, even if the place is really popular and you might need to wait a bit for a table. The place has Scandi feel to it, it’s airy even when packed and the atmosphere is cheery yet allows for conversation. Also loved the design and branding. Gluten free options available. Vegetarian options for breakfast and lunch. Pet friendly.

Lovely restaurant, disappointing service, good food. Came for my 30th birthday as we love the Il basilico in Madeira. Unfortunately this one was disappointing. Started off well with colouring pictures for our child but we had put in the booking that we needed a high chair and despite asking twice more one never showed up (we weren't told there wasn't one either which would've been fine) so had to hold our toddler the whole time which isn't relaxing. People who had arrived after us got served before us and we were on a deadline with a toddler. We weren't offered water (fyi it's not free) like others were. Partner was gluten free which we mentioned on the booking and the waitress wasn't very helpful with this either, please put allergens on your menu as it makes us not want to come!! Food luckily came quickly but no one checked if we were enjoying it. Didn't hang around for pudding given the poor service and then ended up being given the wrong bill! Unsure if the staff are new or we got unlucky. A shame given our previous experiences with the brand.

It was my first experience at Sancho Panza and I can say that I became a customer. I called the day before to make an appointment, (which I think was the manager) told me he would see what he could find as the restaurant was full. He surprised me positively, he found a more private place just as I had requested. We were 5 adults and a celiac child (gluten intolerant), the girls were always concerned about checking if she could eat everything and what each food contained. The food is divine, and I love their “no waste” policy. I highlight the friendliness of the two girls in the first room. Very sweet and professional. Without a doubt, both myself and the rest of the group will return. Thank you Sancho Panza for the good experience.
