Wow, what a find! The food was incredible! So tasty. 😋 I had the bun Jovi burger wrap and was the best vegan & gluten free wrap I’ve ever had! (I choose from the vegan menu which was mostly gluten free and my partner had the chicken pesto wrap from the flexitarian menu)
Our waiter was lovely too. Highly recommended!
Enjoy stunning sea views with a delicious menu that offers a variety of vegan and vegetarian options to cater to all tastes.

I'm celiac, so I can't eat gluten at all. At the menu there are some dishes marked as gluten free, but always double check with the kitchen / waitress if it's 100% save. We went there two times and I always had the fish. It's delicious and I didn't had any problems. So totally recommend this place.
Enjoy stunning views and a diverse menu with standout desserts, but be prepared for mixed service and small portions.

Food was good. Dessert was fantastic!
Server at first didn't understand my allergy (celiac disease). Almost lost all confidence, but then the chef came out and immediately felt safe to eat here. He basically could alter half the menu for me.
Had Nacho's which were okay. However the dessert was amazeballs! Would go back there.
Also, no allergic reaction! :)

My first visit to this lovely little gem of a place. Large window view on Table Mountain! The atmosphere is cozy and low key. Loved the gluten-free options on the menu! Great coffee. We had the Turkish Eggs and Shashuka for brunch, both great options. Finished with some gluten-free sweets from the display - yum.. Our waiter was really friendly and attentive. Will be back!

Eclectic! Great food and bakes cooked on the premises - you can see them baking. Amazing industrial chic mixed with mysterious but classy junk shop vibes - can easily get lost (figuratively) just wandering around an absolute gem and the coffee is pretty good. Excellent gluten free bread.
Crunchy pizza bases, quick service, and a fun pizza-making experience for kids make this spot a must-visit for a delicious meal.

Had a really nice glutenfree pizza there for lunch. Got served super fast. Our waiter Lucy was amazing with my toddler and he got his own pizza dough to make his own pizza bread, which they then baked for him. Can recommend 100%. Thaaaaanks !
A must-visit for health enthusiasts, with exciting selections perfect for post-hike treats or casual meals.

Stop most food and drink options at 3 pm and staff are generally unhelpful or unable to assist. The closing time of 430 pm is misleading as if you arrive at 4 pm most things are packed away. Prices are very high for what you get. During lunch it takes a long time to order and receive your food so if you have less than an hour it is better to go somewhere else.
Having said that they offer a large variety of gluten free, vegan and vegetarian foods especially many sweet options/smoothies which are difficult to find at other restaurants. They have convenient parking which is provided free for Nourished customers and is leased by the restaurant (although the attendant looks belligerent and tries to imply that he owns the lot and should be paid for time spent in the nourished parking.) I would prefer a car guard.

Just stopped for brunch and sat at the bar overlooking Camps Bay. Lovely location and views, matched by great service and super tasty food. The breakfast bap was delicious and the gluten free options are excellent. Bathrooms are spotlessly clean, too. Highly recommend.

We were 4 diners. My daughter has Celiac disease so we specifically went to Maria’s because they advertised gluten free food. The food was amazingly good! But the manager was rude and abrasive, very dismissive when we asked for assurance that the food was prepared separately. When we got our starters, her gluten free starter was placed next to pita bread that was NOT gluten free, thus contaminating her food. When we pointed this out to the manager, he simply shrugged and left. Our waiter was friendly and helpful. And also apologetic about another table that was very loud, causing us to not stay for dessert because the noise level was simply too high! The only down side about the food was the baklava fingers we ordered as take away. They were vile! Tasted only of cinnamon. I’m Greek so I know how they should taste. Very disappointing dessert, don’t order that!
A vibrant spot with a diverse selection of healthy options, from fresh juices to unique snacks, perfect for a quick, guilt-free treat.

Before I was diagnosed as a celiac I loved eating here. They have always had great quality, delicious food. I stopped for a few years because they didn't have good gluten free options. Today I had a toasted gluten-free sandwich and it was amazing. Really happy they have made such a big effort to cater to those of us with food allergies and intolerances. I'll definitely be back.

We came to them because it was written on the menu that there were gluten-free dishes.
When we arrived for breakfast they said that the gluten free dishes are pizza and pasta and they are not served because there is a breakfast menu.
We took an omelette that was really satisfying.
The coffee was good, the chocolate was not.. more delicious than chocolate.
A cozy gem with warm decor, excellent coffee, and a tasty selection of vegetarian/vegan options, perfect for a relaxing time.

Super delicious toasted sandwiches. They have gluten free bread which was also really good and didnt make you miss actual bread like some GF seed loaves make you feel. I also recommend the hot chocolate!

This was our 4th experience here. We love the speakeasy, casual atmosphere in a beautifully decorated space. The food is also amazing, we often opt to share several Tapas style dishes which gives us a delightful dining experience. Personal favourites are the Pork Belly, Chicken Skewers & Paella. Their pizzas are great too and I love that they offer Gluten free bases. Overall a great experience with friendly and attentive staff. We drive from Mossel Bay to enjoy this restaurant.

We were there with the family and felt very comfortable.
Although we had only reserved a table from 2 p.m., we were able to sit down from 1:30 p.m., which was arranged very professionally.
Our drinks were there afterwards and we could toast.
Unfortunately, the order was a bit long because there was a person with gluten intolerance with us and it wasn't entirely clear at first which dishes would be okay for you and which wouldn't.
This isn't a bad thing in the first place, but it can be improved in the future. It's also about suggestions for improvement 😉
Finally, the food unfortunately only arrived after 50 minutes, but this was improved by the excellent quality and taste.
Overall, very, very tasty and a recommendation for anyone who comes by.
Best regards
Moritz
Food very good, staff and manager very friendly and attentive. Food should be detailed on the menu to include, crumbed,or base of wheat/gluten to make better meal choices.
Delicious bites in a stunning spot, though the Greek salad might leave you wanting more—try the chocolate milkshakes for a sweet treat!

Possibly the best gluten-free pizza base I've ever tasted! Absolutely delicious food in a spectacular setting. The Greek salad was a big disappointment (especially for the price). Decent chocolate milkshakes. Photos of menu (2023) included.

This place is fantastic , great modern environment , with a place by the open wall of windows to people watch. Food is amazing especially the healthy smoothies and burgers. For those who are gluten free they have a really good gluten free bun . Prices are also very fair for the quality . Great fast casual type place to go solo.

Incredible and pleasant experience! We had a friend with us who is gluten intolerant, and our waiter was so helpful and knowledgeable on all of the ingredients of the dishes, and how to ensure a safe meal.
The food was delicious, and one of the best seafood dishes I’ve had!
Highly recommend

We came in for a quick coffee but were pleasantly surprised by the amount of gluten and dairy free options. Best variety I have seen! We decided on breakfast food which is available all day (another win!) I had the blueberry and banana flapjack stack (GF & Vegan) and my boyfriend had the savoury breakfast waffle (also GF & Vegan but he substituted the tofu scramble for eggs). It was busy but we were greeted and shown to a table. Politely told that there was not space outside which wasn’t an issue for us as the inside is beautiful! We ordered coffee which was exceptionally made and came with a delicious cookie. Our waitress did mention when we ordered that because the waffles and flapjacks are made from scratch, it may take a while. We were happy to wait and were surprised at how quickly the dishes came out. Both were incredibly tasty. We also watched other beautiful dishes come out to neighbouring tables which we will have to come back for! It’s great to see such a unique, allergy friendly menu. We were also impressed by the staff uniforms - neat yet playful with the pops of pink; and the attentive Managers who took the time to greet guests and check in with tables throughout their meals. Well done Hazendal!!
