Very tasty food and lots of gluten free options. Portions are not the largest, certainly not the cheapest, but worth the money. Service was very nice. Restaurant is unfriendly. The smoked BBQ burgers are particularly recommended. Fries too weak for my taste and not crispy enough, but they are only side dishes, so it's better to order one more main course.

Shaz you were fabulous! Super friendly and welcoming! Came here for lunch with my two younger brothers and my dad and was fab! I have coeliac and I felt super safe ordering with them and the food was so delicious as always! Highly recommend. I had the beef burger which was huge and so yummy. Also the kids pancakes were incredible!
Epic atmosphere with impressive 30-inch pizzas and unique decor, making it a fun spot to enjoy delicious meals in good company.

Very good food and atmosphere, a bit overpriced but also a great location. Had quite a few vegetarian options, as well as gluten free buns and pizza bases - the gluten free pizza I had was decent quality.
Cozy booths and a fantastic atmosphere create a perfect backdrop for memorable celebrations, coupled with an excellent and diverse menu.

We were visiting Exeter for the weekend and came across Cotë. Pleased we did as we really enjoyed the food here. My son is Coeliac and we chose here for its GF menu. It was an excellent, diverse and inclusive menu. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.
The booth we sat I. Was private and comfortable. The single and only negative point was the noise level. It was very cosy and the noise was overwhelming - maybe some soft furnishings to absorb the sound 😊
The food was delighted reasonably priced.
A vibrant spot with a cozy vibe, featuring an array of healthy options and a cute shop for local goodies, perfect for a wholesome visit!

Delicious locally sourced vegan and gluten free food, the portions aren't huge but everything is very tasty. Delicious coffee, kombucha on tap and the best gluten free muffins I've ever had.

The gluten-free cakes, steak pasty, and sausage rolls were delicious. Along with that, the staff were very friendly and accommodating especially after a misunderstanding with my order. There was a genuine personal interest shown! I highly recommend this place.
Enjoy a stunning ambiance perfect for special occasions with attentive service and divine dishes that impress every guest.

Quite possibly the world's most expensive garlic bread...which wasn't even that garlicky!
Almost 3 hours tells a story of how inattentive and prompt the service and food was (it wasn't like the restaurant was full either!).
If you are going to offer a Gluten Free pizza option at least make sure the base doesn't need a chainsaw to cut through it! - a bit stingy on the topping front too while we're talking pizza's!
This was going to be a 2-star review but my partner enjoyed the Monkfish starter & Panna Cotta dessert which apparently rescues a star?!
Approach with caution...
A local gem with a welcoming vibe, offering amazing vegan options, great coffee, and a dog-friendly atmosphere that's perfect for any veggie lover!

We came for breakfast & was Served by Roxii, Roxii was very friendly, polite & helpful made us feel very welcome. Roxii got gluten free bread for me & toasted it for me, Roxii also was topping up the apple juice for us & asked if everything was ok & asked if we needed anything else. Roxii was friendly & chatty with our 3 children. A very good breakfast experience which was went smoothly with great service from Roxii.

Absolutely wonderful food, excellent staff and amazing atmosphere. Has a good range of vegan, vegetarian, gluten free options suitable for even the most complex dietary restrictions like myself. Has great wheelchair access with a very roomy interior and excellent wc set up (no bins or other furniture placed in wheelchair transfer space). Would definitely recommend and will definitely be returning.

The baked good are unreal! Especially the cinnamon rolls and doughnuts. Lots of gluten free cakes too. Sandwiches look delicious (though I haven’t personally tried). Everyone is so friendly and up for a chat. Dogs are welcome and drinks are lovely - what’s not to like! Just make sure you get there early if you want your pick of baked goods :) Perfect stop on a quay walk or for a catch up with friends.

Great food, atmosphere and table service. The portions are generous and the prices are good. One thing I am a big fan of is that you get an actual bottle of mayo/ketchup not a teeny pot or sachets - no rationing here! The cafe is comfortable and is accessible for wheelchair which is always a plus. Gluten free options available and the staff were clued up on allergies. Absolutely no complaints at all, it was a lovely experience.
Great place just had a breakfast here and it was wonderful freshly cooked and piping hot until the last mouthful . Gluten free bread was available for toast . Staff very friendly and helpful . Will be making this our regular breakfast treat .
Gorgeous décor sets the scene for a charming afternoon tea, but service could use a bit of polish for a smoother experience.

A sticky start as my daughter who was organising the event (my other daughters Wedding pre celebrations) called when the diet had changed for one of the guests and told a baby couldnt to attend aswell even though she had booked for an "additional" high chair.
Told that 48hrs needed to be given for gluten free diet and that a 5th person (a baby)!! should be reserved so we wouldnt be able to attend. She decided to tell them we wouldnt bring the baby to keep the spot.
However on the day a lovely reception and the staff were wonderful
Even though the baby didnt attend although table was laid up for 5!
Lovely waitress x Lovely memories were made especially for my 5 year old grandaughter x
Worth the service charge just issues before attendance as lady was rude on the phone

A beautiful and spacious new cafe in the city centre. The coffee is very good, the brownies are delicious, and there are gluten free options (ask if you don’t see them in the displays). The cafe is step free so suitable for wheelchairs, also dog friendly, and the staff are lovely. No complaints whatsoever!

Chilled atmosphere, popular, very close to central station. Fairly newly opened October 2024 currently.
Staff were friendly, engaging and knowledgeable about the product range.
I had two espresso drinks one was decaf, had the gluten free chocolate cake which was amazing!! Just have that 😁👍.
Relaxed place , chilled music. Definitely in my top three coffee shops in Exeter. Keep up the good work. Good range of food but didn't have the appetite to try too much.
Absolutely fantastic service from a lovely lady. Excellent choice of gluten free items...not many places do ...will defo be coming back as often as possible.

Honestly amazing. The owner (Howard) is a good looking young man but has appalling fashion sense. If I could give one star for fashion I would. We only ventured out into Exeter as we were on our way back from Cornwall and my girlfriend and I loved the vibe, coffee and food.
Amazing gluten free options and the staff were so friendly. Will definitely come here again!

Despite some of the negative reviews about this cafe I love it. The staff are lovely and smiley, very helpful and make the cafe atmosphere just right. I come here all the time for coffee/cake or food. They have a range of gluten free options (that actually taste good for gluten free). I find this cafe quite relaxing and I usually use it as a study place. If you’re in the area or fancy a cuppa, give this place a try ❤️
