A popular place for good quality, tasty, well presented food. Ideal if you have gluten-free, vegetarian requirements as very helpful and accommodating. We chose the specials today with a lovely hot chocolate and an English breakfast tea. My gluten-free friend chose the special...'Crushed Minted Pea and Poached Egg on Sourdough Bread. I chose the 'Shakfhouka': spicy tomatoe & peppers with poached egg, served in a bowl with a nan bread. They were both delicious. It was lovely, flavoursome, and a nice change for me to have a vegetarian dish.
For dessert, my friend had a slice of the 'Naughty Chocolate Cake (gluten-free)', and l had the 'Lemon & Blueberry Cake'.
I would highly recommend Evoke as a lovely place to eat quality, tasty, freshly prepared food.

Food is good but gluten free options very poor now. Couldn't confirm if anything was contaminated or not. Not ideal for my coeliac friend.
Service also very poor. Arrived at 12.25 and told they had a table but we needed to be out by 2.15 for a pre booking. Said this was fine for us.
Ordered and food did not arrive until 1.40! It was only a jacket potato and a sandwich! Then ten minutes later (when we had barely finished eating) they told us we needed to go as the booking arrived early! Overall very poor service.
Food I had was nice but not much choice for my friend.
I had a warm welcome & an amazing meat feast of a breakfast- all gluten free & great value!! I was on my own too & the owner came over to chat to me, such welcoming staff & lovely atmosphere!!
