Went on Mother's Day for a late lunch. Our waitress was amazing. She did mention the fryer is shared. I got gf brioche French toast and my son got the kids sliders on gf bread toasted. He liked it and hates when he can't have any sort of a bun on a burger.
It's very nice and the kids get wiki sticks and they love those.
A breakfast gem with diverse pancake options, perfect location near the water, and a buzzing atmosphere that everyone loves!

We were seated quickly, no waiting. The food came quick enough. The gluten free waffles are amazing, I added bananas. If you're gluten free def worth a visit. The strawberry crepes and baked apple pancakes were big hits at our table. Service was really great, top notch, highly recommend

Excellent food! Great service! We also loved that they accommodated food allergies - child with egg and tree nut allergies and adult with avocado and pork allergies. We don’t have a gluten allergy but they have a gluten free dedicated fryer (and the fryer was egg and TN free) and gluten free options.

Great with Gluten free options. Even gluten free Key Lime pie for dessert. Service was wonderful. Sat out on deck with a great view. Very enjoyable. Thank you for a wonderful experience. It is a bit pricey but really with it. I had the Hot Pot...it was very, very good.

Great variety for different tastes & dietary needs. Sweet & savory crepes, shakes, smoothies, hot drinks. Options for vegan &/or gluten free. I had the strawberry banana nutella crepe. Simple & so good. The fruit was fresh & perfectly ripe. It did get a little pricey after the vegan up-charge, but it was a great midday special treat after the beach. It’s a small shop that gets crowded easily, but the outdoor seating was great! There were quotes and little butterfly drawings adorning the walls which entertained our wait to order. The people behind the counter were lovely. Overall a great vibe & definitely a new go-to next time i’m in the area and in the mood for a crepe.

Great vegan healthy food. It’s nice to go to a cafe where I don’t have to ask if there’s any animal ingredients in it, because there’s not. Everything but a handful of menu items is gluten free as well. The set up is very cute. Plant lined patio on Girard just into La Jolla. Not far from street parking. A few blocks from La Jolla Cove. Casual dining atmosphere, very basic. Cozy booth seating inside. It’s a small space, so if you’re bringing a large party, I’d call ahead to make sure there’s seating room. Everything is made by hand fresh daily by the owner himself. The food tastes great every time I’ve gone. My husband is a huge fan of Green Door because the owner mentioned staying up the night before Christmas Eve to make all the pre ordered Christmas dinners perfect. We called a few days ahead for our Christmas dinner last year which was shepherds pie and Christmas pudding. So so good!!! All we had to do was reheat the oven items, and reheat the Christmas pudding in boiling water. The preparing instructions were put on the lids. Only took about 20 minutes to reheat. Literally the best shepherds pie I’ve had, and my husband thought it was so cool because it tasted amazing without any animal ingredients. If you’re looking for something healthy, Green Door Cafe won’t disappoint. The prices aren’t cheap. The ingredients are bought frequently from local organic growers. A friend of mine has mentioned to me seeing the owner of Green Door Cafe riding his bike back to the restaurant with a basket full of greens. Which I thought was pretty cool.
You don’t have to worry if it’s going to give you a heart attack or make you fat because it’s all natural nothing is fried. Definitely worth a try!!

The food here is extraordinary! The presentation, the unique flavors and dishes, and the quality! We get takeout often and also come eat in person. The ambiance is amazing! We come here for birthdays and celebrations, and always bring guests from out of town. It’s always a big hit! The steak and Caesar is delicious! Their burgers, fish and chips, and appetizers are all fantastic! And always great service! Highly recommend!
Also, I am gluten free and they go above and beyond to serve high quality gluten free items and take food allergies very seriously.

I had the flourless cake, my colleagues had the burger and Flatbread. The burger was a huge hit gone. I was told the Flatbread was good, it looked delicious, lots of cheese.
The view was amazing.
The gluten-free options were not listed and not a huge selection of what should be "naturally" gluten-free.
BEST GLUTEN FREE CHOC CHIP MUFFINS!!! Tastes like the freshest chocolate ganache cake I've ever had. I wanted to cry. Absolutely incredible. You guys are purely amazing ❤️

Fantastic dinner! There is nothing better than having Celiac Disease and being able to feel as if you don't. My husband, son and I dined last evening for our anniversary. To start, we the had fresh Cesar salad and our son had the jerk pork belly. I had the salmon with truffles, my husband had the chicken and our son had the best burger. For dessert there was banana cake and ice cream, for me without the cake, and my husband had stuffed donuts. The staff was absolutely professional, kind and understood what I could and could not eat. The great news was most dishes were fine for me to select. We added Nine-Ten to our rotation of local restaurants recently and I am happy we did!

SO MAD at myself, don’t be me, don’t forget to say “no cheese” when ordering veggie sandwich if you’re vegan!
Ample seating, cozy, trendy, plant-based and gluten-free options including desserts (yay)! Their protein in smoothies is also plant-based — suits those who are lactose-intolerant.
Couple outlets to charge your devices, nice music, some refrigerated foods and drinks, snacks, sauces, wines etc. Even skincare and some zero-waste products. The bathroom is nice and clean.
My only wish is to make the menu more clear: what is vegan or can be made vegan. Not everyone likes to ask, it would be beneficial so people know their options and don’t walk making wrong assumptions, like my husband for example, lol

We had an amazing experience at Barbella! The food was absolutely delicious—everything was cooked to perfection. Our waiter, Art, provided excellent service, staying attentive and making sure we had everything we needed. They also had sooo many gluten-free options, which was a huge plus! The Valentine's decorations outside were adorable and added a charming touch to the atmosphere. We realized after leaving that we forgot to check out the inside, but based on the outdoor decor, I’m sure it was just as lovely. Can’t wait to come back and try more!
Cute market offering delicious coffee, fresh deli sandwiches, pastries, and artisan/speciality snacks (olives, nuts, cheeses, etc.) Great for picnic or beach food. Also lots of gluten free options! The owners are very funny and warm, which makes this more of a destination when exploring La Jolla Shores.
Love love love! Great vibe, yummy treats and smoothies! Love their greeters, two Golden Retrievers! Their love and Devotion to their dogs is expressed on the wall of their bathroom with a collage of dog pictures. Love it! I got the date coconut smoothie. It wasn't exactly what I expected but it was still delicious. I also tried gluten free pumpkin bread and that was amazing. Please note that the sign out front does NOT say Seaside Smoothie. It's a little hard to find as it's in the same building as a surf shop.

I stopped by Zentrl on Wednesday for an early dinner and was not disappointed. My server Abby, was so sweet and took the best care of me. I enjoyed their different menus they had as I could still order from lunch menu while also browsing dinner options. I went with the salmon bowl and loved every bite. For dessert I had the flourless chocolate cake (gluten free!!!) and was over the moon. The patio was great, filled with lots of plants and created a relaxing environment. I would recommend this place!
Really sweet little café in La Jolla. Coffee was great, but more importantly to me, they had gluten-free and egg free bakery options that meant I could eat sweets!!!!!
