Hemingway's has been safe for me to eat at. They have limited (think Well seasoned chicken skewers, lentil soup, and blackened fish of the day) gluten free options, but being Celiac in Melbourne makes any place with quality cuisine a repeat.
A cozy spot with a welcoming vibe, offering a nice outdoor area and delicious, homey dishes that everyone will enjoy.

They have a nice weather protected outdoor area. I can bring the dogs to. The food is great, all kinds of regular diner offerings with a nice twist. Very easy to eat gluten-free.
Brunch here is a delightful experience with unique dishes, a charming atmosphere, and fun griddle tables for some interactive pancake cooking!

I have my daughter and her friend here for spring break and Sunday we headed to Backwater for brunch! We sat outside on a cute patio and Chelsea was our waitress. She was very attentive made great suggestions on what we may like for food and for drinks. My daughter is gluten-free so she ordered the pancakes and said they were absolutely delicious.
I had the breakfast sandwich on the Cuban garlic bread that Chelsea had suggested and it was absolutely mouthwatering. When the gal came out to deliver it to me, she said you’re going to fall in love and she was right. It was exactly what we needed to kick off their visit to Florida. I will definitely be going back and trying some of the other menu items that look delicious. If you’re in the neighborhood, you’ll definitely have to stop by for a fantastic dining experience.
Waited an hour for our food and our order wasn't right. I have a gluten allergy and this could have been bad if my celiac was really bad. Was very disappointed in the service because the food is really good and our first experience was good but not this time around. Very unhappy and the waitress couldn't reach her manager. Not good.
Enjoy quick service and a vibrant atmosphere; options here are diverse and flavorful, making it a must-visit for a fun outing!

The food was delicious. They even had a small and medium gluten free pizza option (not its obviously cooked in the same kitchen with everything else so not entirely safe for those with celiac but it was great to see the choice). Service was fast and friendly. Two people at our table got wings and said they were delicious (plain and sweet chili).
With a stunning ambiance perfect for al fresco dining, this place offers generous portions and a variety of options, though some sides may disappoint.

My husband and I just discovered this place. The ambiance is beautiful. Al fresco at its best! Food was delicious. Our server was warm, friendly, sharp, and attentive. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because of the french fries. My husband said said they were definitely frozen and overprocessed and tasted like plastic. He loves fries and he did not eat them. The fries do not match up with the freshness and wonderful quality of the rest of the food or the upscale ambiance. Hopefully, they are working on serving a much better product. I was also very appreciative that they can accommodate gluten free diets as I am gluten intolerant. Great place to eat, but we do not recommend the fries.
Enjoy a cozy diner vibe with outdoor seating and a solid selection, perfect for a leisurely hangout in a clean atmosphere.

Limited gluten free options (I also can't eat eggs) but the quinoa bowl was pretty tasty (minus the egg topper). The atmosphere is like most chain restaurants, nothing to write home about. The patio is a nice option. Our waitress was absent most of the time, too the point another server noticed and checked on us, but that can happen anywhere.
Enjoy a unique breakfast experience near the Brevard Zoo with attentive service and a variety of all-day dining options.

I haven't been to an IHOP in more than a decade because I have a gluten sensitivity. My friend wanted IHOP so I figured I'd have to watch him eat pancakes. Our incredible server, Stewart (yes that's the correct spelling) told me that IHOP HAS GLUTEN FREE PANCAKES! They are cooked on the same grill but it's a dry grill and they will wipe it down. I cannot tell you how happy I am! I got to have fluffy, tasty pancakes that did not cause a reaction. And Stewart was the best waiter I've had in a long time. He was attentive without being annoying, he was just as sweet as he could be and anticipated our needs at every turn. He should be working at a fine dining restaurant but he's just so damn personable I don't know that I would want to let him go.
Breakfast was exactly how I asked for it with dry scrambled eggs, everything was spot on, Delivered timely and again, Stewart is an absolute treasure.
This location is at the entrance of the Brevard Zoo so stop by, have brekkie AND ASK TO SIT IN STEWART'S SECTION

This place is a complete disaster when it comes to allergies. The staff is very uneducated about the contents of their products. The products aren’t labeled correctly. Very dangerous if you have allergies. And when we brought up the fact that, the chocolate chip cookies, that my wife eat, are actually Oreo cookies (which have gluten), they didn’t care much. No offer for a refund etc.
A top spot for a fantastic experience, boasting delicious options and attentive service that makes every visit special!

We had a fantastic experience! Our waitress was incredibly patient and understanding when it came to accommodating our gluten-free dietary needs. She took the time to ensure everything was safe and even made recommendations. On top of that, the food was absolutely delicious! Food was okay. Called to see about shellfish allergy options. I was assured I could eat from their gluten-free menu, when I arrived and read the gluten free menu there is a disclaimer stating they can not guarantee there isn’t cross contamination. Thankfully, no reaction but was a little disappointed about the potential risk.

Their (naturally gluten-free) macarons are out-of-this-world amazing! I might have to take up exercising just so I can keep eating them! Their other two GF options included meringue cookies and creme brûlée, which also looked delicious!

Apocalypse has amazing coffee and a super cool space and atmosphere. Their coffee is some of the best in Brevard County. Their food hasn’t super blown me away but it’s still pretty good and I really appreciate the variety, as well as the gluten free options. The employees are always nice. The only issue is the lack of parking during busy times and lack of seating inside, but I suppose it’s a testament to their popularity. Regardless I love this place and can’t wait for their new location to open up!
Enjoy a charming atmosphere with a lovely patio, perfect for relaxation and accommodating diverse tastes, all at a reasonable price.

We had Mother’s Day tea with a group of 6. We booked last minute and they were able to accommodate. They were so kind and fun and the food was great. They easily accommodated my 7 year old niece and my gluten free sister. The tea was actually amazing and it was so relaxing. Can’t wait to go back for lunch! If parking is hard, there’s a lot behind the Henegar center about 3 minute walk.
Enjoy stunning water views both indoors and outdoors, making it a go-to spot for a memorable lunch or dinner experience.

Excellent place with breathtaking views of the water. You can get great views sitting inside or outside. Gluten/soy/dairy free items for me and tasty meat dishes for the hubs. Changing table in the women’s bathroom. One of our fav places for lunch or dinner.
Updated allergy menu means daughter can now eat breakfast here. Manager even came out to doublecheck allergies (gluten and dairy free). Server was great.
Buffet and all you can eat style eatery. There is a hot grill, home style food, a sandwich bar, salad bar and pleanty of desserts and ice cream with all the toppings. Best of all it is open to the public! Also on select Thursdays throughout the school year they do an international dinner and tonight happens to be Africa. Always something new and different. There are also vegetarian and gluten free options. I have never had anything bad. Include it in a night out.
This place is surprisingly good considering that it is nestled inside a gas station convenience store. We brought our 4 children and sat inside not really sure what to expect...it was delicious! The menu is robust and offers stromoli, calzone, garlic knots and much more. I had a French fry lamb gyro and the kids had gluten free cheese pizza. We were all impressed! We'll be back again!
The menu and a sign at the cashier boldly state that gluten-free wraps are available. When I asked two staff what they were made of, they didn’t know. They DID say there was flour in them. When I said if they have flour, then they’re not gluten-free, they stared at me blankly.
A friend ordered an egg sandwich in the “gluten-free wrap” and it was a tiny portion, maybe enough food for a small child.
I had an iced matcha latte which was not strong enough.
The chairs are rock hard, certainly not made for hanging out. 2 small couches in the back.
