We were excited to try this spot coming from out of town. The donuts are so pretty and unique. We went for pickup at 8:00. They were out of the first and second choice gluten free, which was the reason we picked the spot. The 8 we got were all heavy, greasy, and really sweet. We bought a couple day old donuts since they had available flavors, but they were not good!! At $4.50+/piece I expected better.

This is my go to place for breakfast and has been for years when visiting family in Missoula. Just had their ruby croissant (rhubarb and berry) and it was exceptional. Gluten muffins and cookies are available too. Great views of the Platte river in a lovely part of town. You will only be disappointed if they are closed!

I haven’t eaten here due to their disclaimer for celiacs on their website. It states they offer Gf options but trace amounts of gluten may be found in their food. Appreciate the honesty, but not worth the pain!

I am eating here right now! I lived at Jesse Hall in 1988, and am a Uof M grad. Go Griz! Today, I am enjoying the PB & J burger, soup and chips. They have an awesome menu, good prices, and friendly staff. Plethoria of coffees and teas, gluten free options, and the inside and outside of the place is warm and inviting. Enjoy the ambiance of the outside patio or inside seating. Plenty of room and immediately beside U of M. Families come here when you drop off your kiddo at U of M. I remember when the owner first opened this place. He noted that he wanted a place for people to enjoy good food, coffee/tea, and just have a good time. Plus, not go away unhappy or hungry. Portions are genuine....I know so and enjoy good a lot. However, I enjoy this food even more. I hope U.of M stufe ts make this their go to place!

The gluten free bun was good, the standard food service gluten free option...but the inside contents were amazing! Everything was cooked well and came out hot and fresh. Our server was knowledgeable about the gluten free options and was very friendly.

Wonderful restaurant. I loved the vast gluten-free and vegetarian options. They can do gluten-free pancakes, sandwiches, burgers, and even french fries! Today I tried the overnight oats for the first time. They were delicious, topped with date syrup, fresh fruit, and whipped cream. My guest had a waffle with Nutella, which looked amazing! I will say, it may be a bit on the pricier side for this style of restaurant. That said, I've had burgers, sandwiches, salads, and now breakfast from this place and I've never been disappointed. The food is always fresh, well cooked and seasoned, and the portions are hardy. The waitstaff is also super friendly. I like the laid-back atmospheric. I truly appreciate this new addition to our local restaurant selection. If you have any dietary restrictions, I guarantee they will have an option for you!

Excellent vegetarian quiche for breakfast, it's even gluten free. Side of greens were fresh and crunchy with a very good dressing. One of the best I've ever had. Wonderful service and nice location.

Great experience at this restaurant today, even with the busy chaos of football season waiting time (which was about 45 minutes). The service, delicious, fresh breakfast, and classic diner style menu and atmosphere was what we were after. The steak was slightly overcooked, but tasted delicious and was exactly what I was craving. I tried to order the gluten free french toast, but when inquiring about the preparation discovered that it isn't safe for celiacs, as it's dipped in the same egg wash as the regular french toast. Probably should clarify that, along with any fried offerings that are cross contaminated so that a celiac doesn't get screwed over. Otherwise, a really excellent place and the staff was amazing. I'm glad I inquired, and am happy to report that their steak and eggs with hashbrowns is delicious!

We have never been disappointed at Paul’s and today was no different! We went around 1:30, after running a few errands, and were seated right away. The server that seated us recommended a lotus drink for me and boy howdy! She struck gold there! Then the server who took our order was very kind when I requested something off the menu but with a few changes. Our food came quickly and it as delicious! My special request was especially yummy while also presented beautifully. The super kind server and I collaborated on dubbing it the “ gluten free barnyard burger” lol. Another super great meal and visit to Paul’s in the books 🤗

The Patio is our favorite restaurant in Missoula! The owners are beyond wonderful. The staff are always friendly, the food is consistent and phenomenal. The warm kale salad and the chocolate tortes are some of our favorites! Also as someone with celiac they have many celiac safe options and are very educated on how to prepare celiac safe meals!

Really, really great flavors in the green curry and shrimp kapi! My husband also had the shrimp cake appetizer, which he said is more like shrimp toast, and he says it’s the best he’s found. I think the prices are high for the portion, but not terribly so and with how good it tasted….no regrets! I am disappointed that the pho is not gluten free, however we will dine here again. The staff are friendly and attentive as well.

This is my second time here. I come in to Missoula for bloodwork twice a year. I stop here for coffee and a breakfast sandwich before I head home. The atmosphere and staff are always friendly. They have great coffee and an extensive, quality, menu. They have gluten free bread which allows me to get a build your own breakfast sandwich. I bought one of their mugs last time I was here, a lovely teal, and use it often at home. Highly recommend.

This is one of my new favorite spots in Missoula! I can’t believe it took me two years to discover this lovely little place. Amazing service from a friendly and knowledgeable staff. They know the right questions to ask and have even better suggestions. The place feels comfortable and homey. It is a great place to chat with friends or get some work done. The food is amazing. Some of the best gluten free options I have found in Missoula! I cannot rate this cafe highly enough. A must try!!

I'm so glad that Clyde Coffee is open. Their decaf is really good and I love the gluten-free options. The layout is great, the food is so good, and the candles are scrumptious. The customer service is exactly what I would expect. 10/10 would recommend

This place is probably my favorite coffee shop in missoula the staff are very friendly and nice they always greet with a smile coffee here is great they time shots and if it doesn't meet up to there standards they will make it over for you the little treats they have are also good my favorite two are the gluten free oatmeal cookies and the pepperoni bagels yum yum they have all sorts of drinks available fits almost anyone's pallet 😉 I would recommend them for anyone craving coffee or any caffeine or none caffeine drink the wait can take a little bit but it's worth it 👌 promise hope you enjoy

Great mexican fusion place. Focuses on locally sourcing their produce and meats and has a great chic environment that is very family friendly. Extensive gluten-free menu, which is great for my partner ( all the corn tortillas made are made in-house and a definite plus) and a barcade in the basement that is a great hang out spot on the weekends.

Nice atmosphere. We arrived closer to closing time, so we ordered our meals to go. We waited at the bar for the meals to be ready. The bartender was very friendly. The menu has GF noted by the items that can be made gluten free. I ordered a lemon basil chicken, baked potato and side salad. We didn’t realize till we got back to the hotel and after the restaurant closed that it was a plain unseasoned grilled chicken, and no salad. I’m not sure if it was because it was close to the end of the night (an hour), or why these things were forgotten. But they were. The grilled chicken was fine and so was my baked potato.

My bf and I stopped in Missoula on the tail end of our road trip. It was about 6pm and we were both hankering for breakfast. After calling around to a few places, the Oxford Cafe was the only place that served breakfast all day. It's a very unassuming bar, but the food was incredible! We got an omelette, hashbrowns, french toast, and another plate of eggs, hashbrowns and toast. Everything was amazing, we were very happily surprised by how good the food was. The staff was incredibly kind, professional, and personable. Ava was our server and she was very sweet. I told her that I have celiac, and she made sure to tell me that all of their food was cooked on the same grill, and asked the cook to clean the grill extra before cooking my food. Ava is also gluten free, so she understood what questions to ask and gave me recommendations for some gf bakeries in town. I didn't catch the cooks name, but he was the tall skinny guy with glasses. His food was better than the $250 a night hotel restaurants we'd been eating at on our trip. Next time we come through Missoula, we'll definitely be stopping by.
