Both my boyfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed the meatball appetizer and our pizzas. He ordered the 9-inch Detroit style gluten-free pizza, and I ordered the Meatball Ricotta Pizza. The food was fresh, delectable, and perfectly seasoned. The staff was extremely attentive and accommodating. The atmosphere was dark, modern, and sophisticated. We were seated right in front of the counter, which allowed us the opportunity to speak with the owner, who was absolutely delightful and gave us the history of the restaurant and himself.
This cozy spot serves fresh, delicious baked goods made with sourdough for added nutrition, showcasing a unique variety that keeps fans coming back.

Small, counter service bakery, with a few seats at the bar and a couple tables outside. Everything we got was really good. I'm not gluten free but my partner is, and we both really enjoyed what we got.
We got two bagels, one sesame with butter(her) and an everything with cream cheese(me) here in lies our only beef. My partner is also dairy free so the butter was the only option and even that was a stretch and a chance. And they were pretty light with my cream cheese, not trying to be greedy but I expect an ample schmere. So the bagels were amazing but in the future we'd get them to go.
We also bought an array of donuts and cookies to take for later and ALL of those were excellent. Not pictured are the filled donuts, and a slice of coffee cake.
Honestly the best thing in my opinion was that thumbprint cookie, kinda stole the show for me. I would go back back get 50 of those things.
It's really nice to have a bakery option be gluten free. And if you are, this place is totally up there.
9 out of 5 stars
Experience a cozy industrial vibe, where a diverse menu caters to all tastes, and the burgers are massive and deliciously satisfying.

Everything was 100% gluten free even the fries. Burger was juicy and tender and sweet potato fries were done to perfection. Thank you for a great meal!
A chill spot with tasty options, perfect for remote work or catching live music, though the vibe can vary depending on the staff.

It’s ok. Very hit or miss depending on who is working that day. Had a really good crepe, and they have great options for vegan and gluten free. Perfect for middle of the day remote work because outlets are marked and it’s not full of people midday during the week.
Expect a cozy vibe with irresistible coffee and a tempting pastry selection, but keep in mind they're closed on Mondays and Tuesdays!

I love everything about this place. Coffee is delicious every time. Pastries have good variety, have gluten free options, and are delicious! I understand they need to have days off so no judgement there. But Mondays and Tuesdays are my most free days and they are closed those days :(
A New York vibe with great music, captivating organic, fresh, farm-to-table offerings, BYOB setting, and a cozy, relaxed atmosphere.

Steer clear.
An overall unpleasant experience. They were out of several dishes, omitted components entirely (avocado on the salmon) or had made substitutions without letting us know - (ricotta (?) for creme fraiche on the bolognese, and most shocking: a corn tortilla for a gluten-free bun on a burger).
On the upside the service was suitable - our server did their best considering the circumstances and their own frustration with the restaurant's lack of detail and basic ingredients.
Hopefully management / ownership can right the ship - where its headed now is down, down, down...
A local gem known for its amazing variety and inclusivity, perfect for brunch or a lunch date with family and friends!

Everything that needs to be said about this lovely Montclair cafe has already been said by other reviewers. The ambiance is just as cozy and homey as others have suggested, and the service (both at the tables and counters) is friendly to boot.
What I'd like to add to the heaps of praise of this sweet cafe is my personal ode to the pistachio croissant. Maybe it's the recent vitality of the famed Dubai chocolate, but I've noticed this green nut making a more prominent appearance in pastry shops (to note: Sweet Kitchen proffers their own version of the Dubai dessert). I was tempted by two of them behind this cafe's counters - the gluten-free pistachio cookie and the pistachio croissant.
For a cookie free of gluten, this one's got plenty of crunch and texture. There's a ton of almondy essence (maybe it's made with almond flour?) that beautifully complements the flavor of the ground pistachios. But the croissant was what took my breath away. When we broke into it, we audibly gasped at the gooey dribble of pistachio filling that revealed itself. It's a wonderful and tasty surprise that, along with the crunchy pistachio topping, makes for an incredible take on the humble croissant.
There are just enough tables to provide a low hum of vibrancy without making things too loud. The corner of self-service materials (eating utensils, water cups, and bins for used glassware) also makes this a great space for hanging out to work or catch up with friends without waiting for servers.
Super cute space, a tiny step up at the front door so I don't know how that would work for people in wheeled devices, but I was limping kinda hard when I came in and I was able to navigate it easily. Delicious food with gluten free and vegetarian options. Delicious gluten free desserts, and fantastic rotisserie chicken.
A low-key breakfast spot with fair prices and simple fare, but expect slow service and thin bacon that might leave you wanting more.

The iced vanilla decaf latte with oat milk was smooth and delightful. The impossible burger with gluten-free bread was average. Definitely needed a better plate presentation. The side salad dressing had too much vinegar.
Initially planned on going to Toast for brunch and the wait was too long. Walked over to Uncle Momo Bistro and was pleasantly surprised. They combined tables to seat the 4 of us and served us right away. The eggs and milk are organic. The crepes are amazing and all gluten-free! Definitely was happy that I went to Uncle Momo’s instead!
With a mix of deliciously unique flavors and amazing chai lattes, this spot offers a delightful experience for those seeking quality indulgence.

The food was so delicious! My friend and I got this platter to share with hummus, shawarma, eggplant salad, and beets salad. They provided regular pita and gluten free laffa for my friend. Really delicious and nutritious!

Zeugma is such a lovely spot with delicious and incredibly fresh food! I came here with a group of four friends for brunch on a Saturday and while the place was busy, I didn't feel that it was overly loud or overwhelming. I would definitely recommend reservations during some of the peak times but it's a relatively large restaurant so I'm sure you'd be able to eventually get seated either way.
One of my friends is a vegetarian and gluten-free and she had no issues finding a bunch of options to choose from on the menu. I love that everything is clearly labeled if it is vegan, vegetarian or gluten-free which makes life a lot easier for people with dietary restrictions.
We started out with the mezze platter to share; you can choose any 3 mezzes. We opted for the Avogannush, Antakya Hummus, and Beet Heaven. For my main course, I got the Beet Falafel Wrap which comes with some delicious thin-sliced fries. It was extremely filling but not in a bad way; you won't feel overly stuffed after eating any of this food. I could tell that even the fries were made in a high-quality oil.
If you love clean, fresh ingredients and chill, trendy vibe, Zeugma is a must-try!

Found this place on tiktok because a girl was selling plants there.I had the vegan sandwich. It was outer this world. The hot Apple cider was incredible. They have all different kinds of teas, and gluten free Donuts. All the staff are super friendly. They have a nice little patio you could sit and eat your sandwich and drink your tea or coffee. The parking was no problem they have a lot or on street parking too. The price was great too. Sometimes you have to get there early because they sell out a lot of stuff. there vegan sandwich or gluten free sandwich. Are awesome. I gave them a 5 star because the food was incredible and Fresh. the staff are super super friendly. The place is super clean And the prices was not bad at all. the atmosphere sitting on the patio It's so relaxing. So I would recommend this place to anybody.
Outrageous crepes, gluten- free available also. Great soups & lattes . Nice weather outdoor seating. This is a very small place so I always get take out. Nice staff !
The breakfast burrito bowl was amazing, I ate it with such glee I forgot to take a picture. The bathroom is super clean there is very limited indoor seating I'm still not ready to do that but the outdoor seating is nice It's not in the street it's actually on a little sidewalk. and while the chairs aren't super comfortable for people with sciatic issues etc they're perfectly adequate for a meal. Raymond's is a New Jersey institution and I'm a big fan they're very accommodating and when it comes to my gluten and dairy issues and they're new turmeric lattes are super tasty.
A must-visit for a fantastic variety of fresh-baked treats, plus pup-cups for furry friends make it all the more special!

This is my favorite bakery in town - everything is delicious and there is a huge variety of fresh-baked treats. We recommended them to our neighbor because of their gluten-free needs, and they were thrilled with the gluten-free options. The staff is friendly and kind - they always give our dog a pup-cup! Highly recommend!

This place is super cute and has a delicious menu! I’m gluten free and dairy free and our server answered all of my questions about the food politely and even double checked something when he thought the chef misunderstood the question, saving me from getting sick!
I got the pollo a la brasa, my friend got the pork and both were delicious. My only complaint is that in my opinion the maduros weren’t ripe enough but I enjoyed this spot and will come again happily!
There’s lots of tables here and space for eating.
Excellent food. Had the, grilled flounder it was delicious. Service was great. Food came out quickly server was knowledgeable, was able to tell me what was gluten free.
I was so excited to visit this restaurant that when my friend cancelled at the last minute, I went alone. Fortunately for me I was on a conference call so I didn't feel lonely. The food was good. I ordered 3 sides and a salad as I am Gluten Free and there was not much on the entrée menu that I could order as I do not eat red meat and did not want shrimp n grits. I would have given the place 5 stars, but I took off a star for service. There was only 4 other people in the restaurant so it was empty. The owners were present and didn't come over to say hello, welcome to our restaurant or anything. They had friends there and only socialized with them. To top it off, there was some type of plastic particle in my collard greens. I placed it on the side of my plate and made the server aware. She replaced the collard greens, which was fine. The owner Tonza was present and saw what transpired and never came over to ask if there was an issue, apologize or ask if she could do anything to rectify it. It was disappointing, because even when I left they did not say thank you for coming or anything. Service is important in any business venture, especially a new business so I am hopeful that my experience will not be the same for someone else coming to support! Food for thought!
You eat a Burger from here and you will question every burger you ever had in your entire existence BEST BURGER SPOT IN NJ too me they have the Impossible Burger never had it because I'm not Vegan but I bet even that would taste better than other places and they may not have the Gluten free option yet but get your Burger without the Bun and it's still better than any other Burger spots. 🔥🔥🔥

Most of Montclair residents already know about the atmosphere of Thought and Motion and its people but have you tried their COFFEE??!! I look forward to Master White rabbit coffee that’s exclusively found in Thought and Motion every time I visit. There’s three levels of intensity and Master being the strongest one is by far my favorite coffee. It’s perfectly nutty, balanced and strong. I look forward to Master and so should you… && of course a side of lemon square or their gluten free chocolate muffin.
Expect a top-notch experience with attentive service and a welcoming vibe that makes every visit feel special.

I have a serious gluten allergy and I'm always very cautious in going anywhere because people don't typically take it seriously enough and I can get very ill. What a breath of fresh air and an amazing experience I just had purchasing from this incredible location because Laichelle, picture there, is exceptional. She not only changed her gloves constantly, but went into the new untouched add-ons, had a new cutting board and everything so careful not to contaminate my food with anything that might have gluten. I have never seen anyone go out of her way so much to ensure that a customer is safe and able to enjoy this delicious product without worry of becoming ill. She absolutely deserves a big raise, a promotion, and grateful thanks for caring that much about a customer. What an amazing young woman she is and I will definitely come back to this particular location again and again just for her.
