Offering a mouthwatering selection of baked goods and pizza, this spot is a must-try, though takeout only and some order mix-ups are common.

we ordered coffee, bagels and cinnamon buns. The coffee was lukewarm. we asked the worker if it was possible to warm it up a little bit, and he gave us the dirtiest look and attitude ever. He did offer to remake it but made it sound like it was like a huge inconvenience (I refused). The bagels were average at best. the cinnamon buns were very dense. Overall a bad experience.

I really like Isle of Us. Healthy options for a light meal or coffee and pastry. Try the Mochi cake for a gluten free treat. The tumeric latte is excellent, and a nice alternative to coffee. There's a holistic spa adjoining the restaurant. I have been there many times and plan to go back. There's some okay seating outdoors in front.
A comfy, recently renovated diner known for its welcoming vibe and loyal clientele, perfect for a casual hangout.

A little bit expensive but a solid and reliable diner option. The staff are friendly and get to know you. They have gluten free options if you ask but I don’t know if they have a gluten free menu. I really enjoy the gluten free pancakes here. The gluten free buns for burgers are decent too.
If you are celiac be sure to be very clear about your needs and cross contamination dangers. I have on occasion been too meek to be thorough in my requests and gotten glutened a little but other reviewers have stated that if you are clear about your dietary restrictions they are very accommodating.
Overall good, but I went specifically for a gluten free bagel because the reviews said they had really good ones. Unfortunately they didn’t have any gluten free options so was pretty bummed.
A bright spot with a huge variety of customizable plant-based options, perfect for a quick and satisfying meal on the UES.

The food at vegan grill was amazing and very filling! I made my own bowl and the portion was huge, which I was not expecting. The menu is extensive and even has some gluten free, nut free and soy free options. The staff was also very nice and answered all my questions about ingredients since I like to stay clear of gluten and soy as well. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for a quick, dine-in, plant based experience on the UES!
The coffee shop is so cute and the service is very friendly, the coffee is always on point too. The main issue is the prices. I am fine with the markup on the coffee because they're using beans from farms in Puerto Rico and are paying the farmers are fair wage BUT at the same time the cost of the baked goods are outrageous. I ordered a caramel latte and a pre-packaged gluten free pumpkin bread cake which came up to $16! I would not suggest coming here often unless you have a lot of disposable income. It's such a shame how the cycle of poverty works, we need to support our own but when we have limited resources ourselves it becomes difficult. They are worth a visit every now and again if you're local though.
Chill vibe with delicious avocado toast and smoked salmon that keeps folks coming back for more.
