We enjoy Earls' food in general and are incredibly grateful for the locations, like South Common and Whitemud Crossing, for being attentive and accommodating with my daughter's severe sensitivities - gluten and lactose. We can always ask for some small adjustments on a dish to accommodate her and enjoy a family outing. We went to WEM today, and, not looking to experiment with food, we decided to visit Earls, a safe place. Unfortunately, we are quite disappointed with the food and the service at this location. Not only I got my Tuna Poke Bowl with seaweed salad (I've requested otherwise), but my daughter got a parmesan dip with her meal. I had no problem poking seaweed out of my plate and still ate the salad, but it could have ended painfully for my daughter (I've tested the dip before letting her have it). No one asked us how our food was nor if there was a problem since there was a side plate full of seaweed. I mentioned the issues at the end, and I've been thanked for the feedback, though .... lol
With a vibrant atmosphere, this spot boasts a diverse menu, making it a hit for casual get-togethers and enjoyable evenings.

I went to this restaurant for the first time for a work lunch meeting with a group of coworkers. I am always nervous to eat somewhere new as I am celiac. But to my HAPPY surprise, the menu was clearly labeled with so many options for gluten free! The server was also knowledgeable about giving me a gluten free experience. The chips and guacamole that first came to the table were fried with a safe fryer and not shared with gluten items. I ended up having chicken tacos with a side of shrimp. It was delicious! I will definitely be going back to this restaurant. I didn’t feel limited and I did not get sick afterwards. Celiac approved!
A standout spot for a memorable dining experience with exceptional service and delightful surprises that keep customers coming back for more.

NOT GLUTEN SAFE!! The food tasted great, and the place was beautiful, but I got sick on a dish I was assured safe. I expected more out of a place with this many gluten free options.
The waitress rolled her eyes at me to start when I asked which meats were safe, and said all but she hesitated, so I didn't risk it (most sasauges are not safe). She told me the pizza could be a risk while rolled out so I avoided it, even the pasta just in case. She did tell me that the risotto was completely safe because it was rice, I confirmed that what was on it was too (as most sauces and creamy things have flour) and seemed a bit irritated at this point. We had a decent size group for a birthday, tips definitely would have paid off my minor inconvenience of asking these questions.
I obviously hate to be that person, but this is my health. I know the questions to ask, but I was hit with hesitation and irritation instead of double checking.
Expect a cozy vibe with a great backstory, affordable prices, and tasty options that keep locals coming back for more.

Super friendly local place, reasonable prices and fresh food. Gluten Free options are tasty and actually affordable ($0.65 upcharge for GF toast, not $3 LOL) Love this place. Great story behind it as well.
