This place has such a great atmosphere inside and it feels really enjoyable to spend a night or some time during midday. Food is okay, we ordered two sets of pasta and it was great, also got chicken strips that were not worth buying in my opinion. From crucial benefits of this place I can refer separate gluten free menu that we got from waiter by our request. During busy hours place gets packed and you might need to wait for some time but I believe that it is worth it for sure.

The food was amazing. 2 of us shared the family style 3 course meal and every piece was phenomenal. My partner got the salt cod and it was also amazing. They also accommodated my celiac amazingly and did it all gluten free. Service was notably good and the restaurant is so cute. Our server asked if we wanted refills when we had one sip left of our drink, was very friendly and professional. Also, first restaurant in my experience to read the OpenTable comments area, and asked about the holiday I noted and my celiac.

I always order their sandwiched on gluten free over skip. Nice, fresh ingredients and the italian sausage is so damn good. I recommend trying an italian sausage panini, red pepper, arugula and mayo. One of my favourites with the fries and soda. 10/10 for gluten free.

It is a cute little spot more upscale than many other Italian restaurants in Edmonton, jeans and a nice shirt are perfect but dressing up wouldn't feel out of place. Service was terrific, friendly and attentive while not feeling faked. Food was quite good, rich in flavor and textures. Steak and mushroom risotto may have been a bit on the heavy side with nothing to offset it. Pescatore (gluten free) was very good, good balance of flavor with the citrus cream sauce and the penne was properly aldente. ☺️ We made a reservation in advance, requested a wheelchair table and identified I was celiac, the table was prepared with the restricted diet menu and open spot for my husband's chair. Some comments have whined about a lack of table cloths and the utensils being in paper napkins, personally I prefer that for the cleanliness it affords. No one is touching the utensils when setting the table, and no gross cloths with remnants of 🤢sloppy/sniveling past guests. When coming with a wheelchair, note that the door is not automatic and you'll need to navigate a smaller exterior landing at the entrance to get around the outswing of the double door. Inside is a well sized foyer with room to turn around as long as it's not stuffed with people. IFYKYK 😉. A bonus is that it is the main entrance, not a service door and accessible parking is right out front if a bit tight. If you need assistance with the doors, I'm certain the people there will be happy to help with a smile. A really wonderful caring vibe was felt when we were there. Solid experience and will definitely recommend and return!

Ordered delivery through Uber. Gluten free (popular according to the restaurant), Margherita. The crust was soggy and a really strange consistency. Toppings slid off because of the weird plastic like crust. Cheese was also strange, like it was fake. To top it off, there was a hair baked into the crust. I get those things can happen but on top of the terrible, tasteless pizza it was pretty disappointing.

We have always enjoyed the food and service at the Sicilian! It can be very loud on weekends but that is to be expected and it was very warm in there. Other than that we always enjoy our dining experience there :) like that they have gluten free pastas too for individuals!

I will give a big thumbs up to you guys. I ordered gluten free pizza. Dough was so soft normally gluten free crust is always chewy to eat. All the toppings were equally placed. I really enjoyed my pizza. Thank you for your service. 👍👍

I've been here twice and ordered a gluten free pizza. Bar none the best gluten free pizza I have ever had in a restaurant. In my opinion, the crust tasted and had the same consistency/texture as regular pizza crust. The Amore la Carne pizza is awesome!

Phenomenal experience. The food was beyond fantastic, service was impeccable, the whole dinner was perfect. I'm celiac and the selection of gluten free options was excellent, I had the carbonara with gluten free pasta and it was incredible. Truly worth a visit.

Had dinner here to celebrate my belated birthday with a close friend, and everything (from the food to the service) was amazing. Our server (who I believe was also the manager or owner) greeted us warmly and took our order without rushing us. Throughout the meal, he checked in/walked by to make sure we had everything we needed and that we were enjoying our food, all without being intrusive or interrupting our conversation. They were quick with making and serving our food; my friend and I were both pleasantly surprised. The pizzas were delicious. I had the 4 Formaggi, which was the perfect balance of savoury and sweet. The gluten friendly crust was great.The staff helped celebrate both a grandfather’s birthday and mine with such genuine warmth- it felt very special and sincere. The server took my gluten intolerance into account for the birthday dessert as well which was sweet of him. Parking was easy to find, and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. Overall, I’d highly recommend this spot for dinner, no matter what occasion you’re celebrating. It’s a great local Italian restaurant with great vibes.

I went in this morning to Panini's on 149 St and was greeted by such a hospitable, friendly, warm, and generous woman (Becky from Colombia). She is an amazing woman and made my visit to the restaurant totally worth it. You would do well to make a visit to this place just to meet Becky. You'll feel like you're at her house, she being hostess. She can get a little busy though. The restaurant has lots of light, lots of windows, air conditioned, clean, with outdoor seating. The male washroom was large enough, looked nice. If you get the Italian soda, get 3 or less pumps of syrup instead of the usual 6. The music wasn't very loud, which I liked, kind of elevator music, and I think possibly on CD because it ended and there was silence. I hope that the management will add the option of organic sesame rice crackers to go with the salad instead of gluten-free toast. I got some tea but didn't get a napkin with the cup and saucer and that napkin would have been helpful because I was looking for somewhere to put my tea bag since the saucer doesn't extend much further past the cup. I would love to come back here and bring others with me. Becky was the highlight. :) But I must say that I am thankful and grateful that Kadence came to my table sometimes too to look after me and that was very much needed

I was here for dinner with my girlfriend. This place has a very dim light ambience with just one candle on the table. It was funny to see people around me using the phone flashlight to read the menu. There was literally one server seving 10 tables. Service was pretty slow. Like I saw our pastas ready since they have an open kitchen counter. The server picked it up and handed it to us after 10 minutes. They have a lot of gluten free options if you have an allergy. Food was average. Great portions though. We tried the Salsiccia for appetizer and Tagliatelle con pollo and the Rigatoni verdure. It tasted decent.

Fantasia Catering absolutely knocked it out of the park for our work holiday lunch! The food was incredibly delicious, and every dish was a hit. Their customer service was top-notch – they were very responsive and accommodating to our needs, including dietary restrictions (vegetarian and gluten-free options were readily available). We were impressed with their affordability and flexibility. We received fantastic feedback from the entire office. 10/10, would definitely use Fantasia Catering again in the future!

Been coming to Tony's for almost a decade. The food is good, service is good, but the portions are a little small and the prices are high. They charged me $9.50 for this tiramisu 😭 (see pics). I don't do well with gluten so I can't visit all the time anyways but it's good to come here once in a while if you want to splurge.
