What a joy to come here, the decor is unique, you feel you are in a tent in the Sahara desert. The food is excellent, couscous that is flavorful and delicious, and as an added bonus, everything is gluten free! The owner Atigh is a gem, a great person with a kind heart. My son absolutely loves this place, the date beef and lentil soup are fantastic!
Nestled in a vibrant neighborhood, it features a beautiful terrace, nearby art and cheese shops, plus a famous ice cream spot just around the corner.

I had buckwheat crêpes (gluten-free) with smoked salmon. Absolutely delicious and a generous portion. OH had something brunchy, it was a huge plate but was too focused on my food to really pay much attention. Go, see for yourself. Also the homemade hot sauce OMG. They sell little jars of it too, We bought a jar to take home with us.

Went based on reviews and we were not disappointed. Cute and cozy little diner with a retro aesthetic. Very clean with a direct line of sight to the kitchen, which was also clean and tidy looking. Our server was super friendly and polite.
We had 2 Mimis (1 gluten free) with a lemonade and fries. The burgers were delicious! Most home made vegan patties are either too soft (and wet) or too dry. This was just right. Toppings and spicy mayo were great (super thin pickle slices were a nice touch). The fries are some of the best shoestring/julienne style we've had. Super crispy and perfectly seasoned!
Grabbed 2 milkshakes on the way out and they were awesome! Sweet, super creamy, but not heavy and sickly. Just right. They didn't skimp on the toppings either. Absolutely recommend this place! Definitely coming back next time we're in Montreal.
Simply delicious!! Your mother's sandwiches are homemade, with fresh, quality ingredients at a very affordable price! Notice to veggie and gluten-free fans, there is a very good sandwich!! I had a nice welcome from the owner himself who really takes great care of these customers. Whether to eat your lunch there, or to enjoy a pastry with a good coffee, you will feel at home with a warm decor and a friendly atmosphere. I will go back to try the other sandwiches
