Delicious food and wine. Great portions and gluten free options. I had the stuffed chicken, my daughter had a pizza and you can also get GF pasta. Fast and fresh. Highly recommend. I wish we were in town long enough to return.
Enjoy a beautiful lakeside spot with a large selection of pancakes and refreshing drinks, plus quick service and plenty of parking.

We love this place. Today we had Easter brunch and 2 in our party require gluten free food. They were beyond accommodating even going so far as to deliver special made pancakes and meatballs as well as bread so we could eat nearly everything in the buffet just as the others. The staff is very friendly. They had a clown and an Easter egg hunt for the kids as well as a little treat bag for them. Plus the location is absolutely beautiful and great for a walk after the meal. Highly recommend :).
Authentic Italian vibes shine here with tasty dishes, inviting atmosphere, and a cozy spot for gatherings or a chic night out.

The only Italian restaurant I frequent. Authentic and delicious. Nice that they have so much gluten free too.
They also have the only espresso that tastes like in Italy.
The only thing is that the waiters do not speak Danish. But they are nice.
An inviting spot in the heart of the city, praised for its vegan dishes and cozy vibe, making it a must-visit for plant-based lovers.

All delicious, handcrafted food. Excellent for a vegan and gluten-free lunch break. There are also places outside, which on a sunny day are super appreciated and popular. We had lunch with a shared appetizer plate (hummus, caramelized onions, spiced almonds, olives) then we had two burgers 🍔 delicious with potatoes on the side. Generous portions!! Unfortunately we weren't able to finish everything
This spot is a total gem known for its amazing vegan brunch and diverse menu that keeps everyone excited about their meal choices.

Many vegan meals, not just salad options, very tasty! I highly recommend the vegan brunch, the tuna-fri dish and the wrap. For desert, pancakes with chocolate! Vegan, gluten free, vegetarian and meat options available!
A charming spot with a calming vibe, perfect for small groups or solo visits, though cake prices might leave you feeling a bit salty.

I have now visited the place 3 times, and each time I have been disappointed with the level of service. The food is really good though, so it's a shame that the staff are so inattentive. Today at lunch we waited for food for 45 minutes, after which we asked when the food would arrive, and it turned out that the order had been forgotten. The staff do not check up on the guests in any way, but are instead busy taking pictures of the coffee they are making or talking to their friends who come to visit.
The cafe offers that part of the menu can be made, for example, gluten-free, but many of them did not know that as a gluten allergy/when you have celiac disease, you cannot eat ordinary oatmeal. On a previous visit to the cafe, I ordered a bowl (which they said they could easily make gluten-free), but there was still oatmeal in it when I got it. I therefore asked if I could have it without oatmeal, now that I had ordered gluten-free, but then they wanted to discuss with me whether oatmeal was gluten-free, and they said "so our boss says it is gluten-free", even though it was not. I ended up ordering something else, which they then forgot I had ordered, and I had to remind them twice before they sent the order to the kitchen, which creates an awkward situation when everyone else at the table finishes eating. Their knowledge of allergens is not very reassuring.
They also offer free water that you get yourself from a pitcher - but when I once nicely asked if it could be refilled because it was empty, they said "yeah", but remained sitting behind the bar on their phones.
Otherwise, delicious food and cozy place, but the staff needs a lift in the service level.
Very nice café/restaurant with friendly and courteous service. Very good food, large portions, gluten-free burgers 🍔 easily possible at no extra charge.
Very delicious gluten free burger! Thanks so much @Hayle for looking after my menu to enaure that everything was fine. The personnel in general is very friendly, and the food de li cious!

Expect a stylish spot with a great vibe and tasty offerings, but be ready for higher prices and occasional hustle during busy times.

4.5. For Esbjerg, the place is quite expensive. Compared to, for example, Copenhagen or Frederiksberg, the place is still well above average in price. We paid about DKK 1000 for 2 people.
On the minus side, the noise level was really high when we had dinner at 6 p.m. Way too loud. At times it was difficult to get hold of the staff. They made a single mistake in our dish. But it was fixed immediately and I don't think it's something that happens often.
On the plus side: the staff were very friendly, helpful and had control over the drinks and the contents of the dishes, including allergens. The place is beautifully furnished both originally and after renovation.
The food was really good. We tested both burgers with and without gluten. Steak. Their chunky fries and cream potatoes and special butter.
Really delicious and reasonable sized portions.
All in all a good experience.
I will definitely come again.
Update: next time I came. We waited 15 over our booked time to even be directed to our table and after another 20 min had to pick up the menu ourselves and had to look for waiters to order again. But the staff is always nice when se so is with you. Maybe too few staff?
Cozy vibe with amazing drinks and delicious cakes in a beautifully furnished spot, perfect for a sweet treat escape.

A very attractive and cozy coffee bar.
We had delicious coffee and real hot chocolate there.
Of course we couldn't miss a cheesecake and it was delicious!
Even the gluten-free variant tasted very good.
Staff are very friendly.

Amazing place, streetfood center of Odense. You will find all styles of food from all over the world! And suitable for allergies (gluten-free, lactose-free, vegetarian, etc.) Live music is played. This is the new “the place to be” in Odense!
With a mega cool concept, you can play tons of board games on the 1st floor while you hang out.

My first impression of the Jacato was actually really good. I checked their website online and the menu sounded good. I chose to write to Jacato to be a little more sure about what gluten-free options they have. Among other things, I am told that their corn tortillas are gluten-free. I therefore choose to order their Jacato Combo menu with soda. In principle, they have 4 choices for fillings, but since the chicken and prawns are breaded in panko, I settle for vegetarian and pork, which is gluten-free. I get this menu served in the company of 3 others who have also taken the Jacato Combi menu, however they have taken away the vegetarian corn tortilla and are not gluten free like me. It really hates me to write this, but the food I got was tasteless and boring. - My company also commented that it was not filling and that we could have cooked better food at home. No one from the company thinks we should return another time. So I don't recommend Jacato even though they have several gluten free options

It was a really great pleasure to experience an evening on plates. The food was absolutely fantastic, the service was top notch and very professional but still warm-hearted and the atmosphere was cozy and intimate. I suffer from lactose and gluten intolerance and they handled that with great professionalism Really big kudos to plates for a fantastic evening. thank you very much

Every time we visit home, we go to Fru Dax on Rømø. It's been a family favorite for years, since they first opened, and we share it with our friends. They've always been so good with allergies, but since they have new management, it hasn't been the same. Some of the fixtures are worse for wear, but the worst was our experience today. My gluten free stjerneskud had croutons and bread toasted on the same toaster as the regular bread. I got sick and the staff didn't even apologize. It's sad because we always look forward to it but they just didn't seem to care.
very delicious and filling sandwich, which can also be ordered as gluten-free. Maybe a little overpriced for drinks, but the food tasted so good that I forgot all about the price.
Charming spot with lovely decor, outdoor seating for buggies and bikes, plus kids' art supplies—perfect for a family day!

Decided on the café based on the reviews and didn't regret it.
Very good option to have a buggy/bicycle trailer at the table outside.
The waitress gave us art supplies for the children and German menus without asking.
Food, including gluten-free burger buns, was great, and the waiting time at lunchtime during the week was extremely short.
Coffee was also very tasty.
Courteous, friendly waitresses who speak English or German well.
Toilet very well maintained.
Everything was very lovingly furnished.
In combination with a visit to the “Legeparken” playground in Kolding, great with small children!
Enjoy a bustling vibe with ample seating and quick service, perfect for those in a hurry to recharge.

Really good caffee inside the Kolding Storcenter. Provides enough tables for people to eat. Super friendly and fast-serving staff. Foods are of reasonable price and good variety - vegan and gluten free options available. I can recommend this place if you want to eat but not wait long for food and service.
We ordered starfish which did not match the price at all: the salad was old and inedible, the fish fillets were poor quality made from frozen breaded fish which tasted old and dry. One of the fillets was inedible with a really nasty taste. The bread was burnt, and on the gluten-free version, the bread was rubbery and very difficult to cut into. Quite a disappointing experience.
A surprisingly busy spot on a Wednesday, offering a solid mix of quality and price with a unique brunch vibe.

It wasn't that bad, and a fine balance between price and quality, plus gluten-free bread for their brunch plate. However, it was surprisingly busy on an ordinary Wednesday and unfortunately not that many staff
DKK 755 for a bout of stomach ache with accompanying vomiting.
That was what one of us experienced today when we ate at the restaurant.
We all ordered gluten-free, as our daughter has celiac disease and that way, if she wanted, she could taste some of our food.
Here in the hours after, it turns out, rather regretfully, that the gluten-free menu has NOT been managed.
Most of all, the place exudes a sense of control, and that should be the case when you offer a decidedly gluten-free menu on both the website and the menu.
(Therefore it became a single star)
But today it slipped. The result is a 5-year-old who once again tearfully has lost confidence that even if you set your sights on something, you don't always have control over it.
Stay is located in the heart of Kolding and offers gluten-free options in relation to their menu. The reason I chose to eat there was because their outdoor menu sign clearly stated gluten free. According to the menu, they were gluten-free dishes that you can choose either burger or smørrebrød for an extra small amount. I have to say that I am a bit puzzled as to why a gluten-free alternative to pasta dishes and at least a single dessert cannot be made. The burger and fries I got tasted good, the service surprising, as the menu says to go up to the bar and order, but we ended up with an employee coming and taking our order. The place, in my opinion, has potential, but just lacks that last bit to become a permanent place on my list to return to time and time again. Because I think the gluten-free selection feels a bit too limited.
