Have been here before and enjoyed the experience so thought weâd give it another go.
Smashed Avocado Bagel (with Salmon as an add-on) was generous and the salmon portion very generous. Bagel was very tough to cut with a knife though but maybe being gluten free had something to do with that? Very tasty though.
We also had the Poke Bowl which was underwhelming. Not the traditional bowl at all, as it was on a plate. No sign of coriander in the rice, no kewpie mayo, no crispy shallots and no sweet chilli (all were advertised on the menu). Pretty disappointing for $32.90 and our two meals and bottled juice made it an $80 lunch.

Grindz is amazing, always high quality food and great coffee. One of our favorite spots to go. I personally struggle with dietary restrictions, and I have had some of the best gluten free and dairy free snacks at Grindz! We ate here for the first time & loved it! All the food was great but our favourites were the special spicy seared tuna & the rum roasted pineapple with lime coconut mousse - they were fantastic. Lovely for a bite to eat on the way through. Cabinet food was too expensive at $15 for each item so ended up just having cheese scones. Very limited gluten free choices. Coffee was fab but had to have a long black as the non cow's milk options were all Alternative brand which makes an ikk cuppa. Friend had a cow's milk latte and liked it. Music was very loud, but vibe was cool inside.

I like this place, we have eaten here twice as a family. The only let down is they donât offer any gluten/dairy free side with the steak. Chips are in a shared frier, so not GF. And the mash has dairy in it. Otherwise would give it a higher score :) Service is always very good with nice friendly staff.

I ordered an eggs Benedict (without bacon or mushrooms) gluten free. They came out with two pieces of (hope it was gluten free) bread because it wasn't toasted properly and had no butter on it. Two eggs just put on top with the dressing. No wilted spinach. It looked like a child had made it. With the other meal and drinks I paid just over $50. I ate it because I paid for it but won't be going back.
