Awesome views, great location, clean rooms, gluten free options in the cafe which was a rare plus! The only slight downside is if you're staying in a bottom floor room you can easily hear footsteps and movement in the rooms above you (I know it's an older building). Overall great experience.

Delicious vegan and gluten-free food, friendly staff, and a whole bunch of options. The smoothies were also delicious. Would recommend to anyone who is vegan or gluten-free.
A cozy oasis away from the hustle and bustle, perfect for relaxing with artisanal drinks and a lovely atmosphere.

We recently gathered in Interlaken from Chicago, Florence and London to celebrate two birthdays. We made our way to Vela daily to share time, enjoy the artisanal coffees, teas and hot chocolates. Each time, we ended up sitting for over an hour, eating the clean, delicious food and enjoying the calm and cozy surroundings. The staff was incredibly friendly. And they had amazing gluten free options. Now that we are home, we find ourselves day dreaming about our time in Interlaken and our experience at Velo.

Knowledgeable about gluten free food preparation and delicious! Also, great views and great service. My friend and I split the antipasta appetizer which they provided with the crostini on the side for her. I had the perch fillet salad as my entree and it was delicious. They brought me gluten free bread. They have gluten free pasta options. They did not rush us at all and asked us if we wanted a break in between our appetizer and entrees. We also enjoyed the cocktails. I highly recommend.
A vibrant buffet place with fantastic vegetarian and vegan dishes, perfect for a healthy meal, but be ready for a busy evening vibe!

The restaurant offers a great selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes. I think it's particularly good that there are also gluten-free options. Although the prices are a bit higher, the quality of the food makes it absolutely worth it. It's usually busy in the evenings, so I recommend making a reservation in advance. The staff is extremely friendly and takes a lot of time to give detailed advice. Definitely one of my favorite restaurants!
Enjoy a vibrant atmosphere with a diverse buffet, including a great selection of cheeses and coffee included in the price!

The food was good. The service was bad and inattentive, you always had to draw attention to yourself otherwise nothing worked. The staff preferred to fool around. But the worst thing is that the restaurant is in the Celiac guide, only the staff has no idea about gluten-free nor does it understand the gluten-free symbols on the menu and vegan dishes were suggested to us as gluten-free. Luckily the kitchen knows what it's about. We won't go there a second time.
Prepare for a delicious journey with a wide variety of options, making it a must-visit for Indian cuisine lovers!

Very good food, one of the best Indian’s I have tried (outside India ;)).
A lot of choices, vegi or with meat, they had also gluten-free choices (Naan).
Friendly staff, helping you to find the right food for you 😃
If we are next time around, we definitely have each time an Indian dinner 😃
I was very disappointed in this restaurant, especially considering all the good reviews! I ordered a hot chocolate and a ceasar salad without croutons because I have coeliac disease. I never got my hot chocolate and my ceasar salad had croutons. The salad was mostly made of rocket salad hearts as well. The restaurant is free seating, but not advertised anywhere so everyone waits at the door at first. There are no 2 peope tables, only 4 or more so the restaurant seems to fill up quickly when singles or pairs take a table. The only thing that was truly great is the view!
Great restaurant, the snack special, coffee and sandwich for CHF 6.50.- I think it's a very fair price. In addition, everyone who has a gluten intolerance can enjoy themselves here, because there are sandwiches for them too and the costs are no longer there and the gluten-free rolls are made by the owner herself. I always have a cheese sandwich and there is always different cheese in it, which is not a given either. Sandwiches are also made fresh. Brunches and other events also take place from time to time, wherever. Gluten free foods are on offer.
Enjoy a picturesque walk with stunning views and charming decorations that make any celebration feel special.

The setting of this place is just amazing.. you feel like you’re in a movie walking up to the restaurant! There is a decent 10ish minute hill walk but you don’t feel as bad ordering dessert! Food is nice but nothing out of this world however the service was outstanding. My friend is Celiac they explained absolutely everything to her and were so accommodating. As well as this, we celebrated her birthday so I emailed ahead to ask if they could do anything special for her in line with dietary requirements and they decorated our table with little hearts, so cute!!! Highly recommend - beautiful experience!
A lively spot for breakfast that shines on quieter weekdays, though it can get a bit noisy when bustling with weekend crowds.

After I was here twice on the weekend 1.5 years ago and was really disappointed (too many visitors for too few staff, gluten-free bread was forgotten both times...) I've now been there three times on Wednesdays for breakfast and I'm thrilled. Everything great. (A little noisy when busy)
Authentic Indian Punjabi flavors shine here, with a must-try veg thali that makes for a perfect end to your day in Switzerland.

An absolute must experience to dine here if you’re visiting Swiss and crave for authentic Indian Punjabi food. We went here twice back to back for dinner and had Punjabi thali both times, the food was so delicious, flavors and spices on point 🫶🏼🙌🏻. The prices are reasonable, I highly recommend trying veg thali here, it’s a perfect meal for dinner to end your day in Swiss especially if you had a long day with travel, you’ll enjoy the food here. The owner Vikas is a very kind person and he makes sure that every guest is well taken care of. As far as veg thali goes, you get 4 pieces of naan, salad, dal makhani, rice, paneer subji and a dry mix veg subji. My wife has gluten allergies so we requested him to substitute dal tadka for naan and he agreed very kindly, this was our first time visiting here, we went again today and he accommodated the same request again very politely for my wife, very nice gesture. Overall, this was a great experience and food was so authentic, a must try!
