Love going to Bills. They cater for my Gluten free diet beautifully. All staff are great but had the pleasure of being served many a time by the fabulous Laura, she is always helpful.

GREAT grub, amazing service and wonderful atmosphere. So welcoming to every human (and dog!) and every dietary requirement. Clean and beautifully decorated.
Absolutely my new favourite spot in Eastbourne and deserves your visit!
Plenty of food options for everyone, options for leftovers to be taken away in a box and some items can be made to take out I believe.
Staff are super knowledgeable about all allergens with plenty of options for gluten free, nut free, soy free etc. Full allergen list on reverse of menu.
The bathroom is beautiful (downstairs), covered in mini quotes from customers. Lots of love in there. Including free sanitary items.
Outdoor seating, free on street parking nearby with lots of spaces available.

Great food with some delicious dairy and gluten free savoury options. Lovely atmosphere and the service was super friendly with the exception of the member of staff at the door who was overly stern about the waitlist system-perhaps they were just having a bad day. The cakes and bakes looked delicious-would love some dairy and gluten free options.
A charming family-run spot known for its welcoming vibe and great value, perfect for a cozy hangout with friends.

Beautiful cafe/tearoom. Lovely art deco building. The staff were super friendly. The hot chocolate was divine as was the lemon cake. They also had delicious gluten free options for my friend. We had a lovely time and will definitely be returning. Thank you 🙏🏼
Cool spot with a great selection of ice cream flavors, attentive service, and a lively atmosphere, but parking can be tricky on busy days.

Although I have given this place 5* for food that is only true if you consider ice cream a food.
Service was excellent, was being served by a young lady almost as soon as my party stood at the ice cream counter.
She was attentive and patient as there was 5 if us, my great nephew being gluten intolerant, and was great that they had a full list on the wall showing what ice creams he could have. They had quite a few!!!!
The flavours were many and varied, although a bit short on any sorbet ice cream.
The lady took her time, making sure she rinsed her serving tool between scoops.
As for the atmosphere, the place was pretty full, inside and out as it was a hot sunny day.
All in all, a great place to go for food and especially for ice cream.
If I have any negative about this place it would be lack of parking places, but then it's Eastbourne seafront and very very popular.
First of all I’d like to start by saying wow is the food here amazing. I come here almost weekly (sometimes twice a week) and I’ve never had a bad meal. From its American style bagels to the Window display this place is amazing!
It’s rare to find somewhere with such high standards for food quality, great service and the perfect price all on one! from the moment you walk in you are welcomed inn like it’s a second home, all the staff feel like your family even if it’s your first meeting them. The prices on the menu are all really fair prices, so nice to see an independent business not overcharging people. (Although I would still keep going even if they did). The girl that usually works at the tills always remembers my order which is always great service in my opinion.
They have a range of all kinds of baguettes, sandwiches and bagels, with vegan and gluten-free options available too, they have amazing Mac and cheese pots that are to die for! They have a wide range of American drinks along side a huge selection of American candy and snacks plenty to choose between.
Not far from the town centre only about a 10 minute walk but far enough that it’s not ruined but the busy town life.
If I could give more than 5 stars I would everything about this place is incredible!
Charming indie spot with amazing coffee and decadent treats, perfect for a light lunch or sweet indulgence while exploring Eastbourne!

Just out of the rail station and to the right! What a cute little spot providing options for all as well as dedicated gluten free. I had a bacon and brie sandwich on fresh panini and my gf partner had a jacket potato with beans and salad. We both had a dessert and a coffee. Very affordable and we both left with full tummies! Thank you from Toronto!
Bright and inviting spot with a great vibe, offering a delicious variety of options, including unique drinks and tempting treats.

Wonderful service with super friendly and efficient staff. Lovely bright interior and great range of options. Many vegan options and I had one of the tomato, mozerella and pesto paninis with gluten free bread, and a gluten free almond and raspberry slice. Both tasted incredible, as did the turmeric lattes and matcha lattes 😍 will definitely be back!
Had a cream tea here for a friend's hen do. Cannot recommend more if this is the kind of event you're looking for. They were so friendly and helpful even with the decorations. The price is really reasonable, especially compared with hotels etc in the area and here we got to have the place to ourselves. The food was delicious and a good sized portion with a savoury and sweet scone, three different open sandwiches (appetiser sized), a pastry, a brownie and a macaron each. They were happy to cater for all dietary requirements inc vegan and gluten free without compromising on the choice or flavour for them. Do expect wine bar drinks prices though. They do offer a bottomless 2hr prosecco cream tea which is worth it if you plan to drink a lot. Overall,I highly recommend.
Nice café with a great selection, especially if you want it to be vegan and gluten-free. The staff are really polite and thoughtful. We come back every time we are on holiday in Eastbourne.
Expect a cozy, family-run spot with strong coffee, a stylish interior, and a great mix of homemade options for everyone!

Went here for a bit of breakfast. We were welcomed with friendly staff. The food was delicious, clean facilities and lots of choice of food and drink on the menu at reasonable prices. They have gluten-free options, too! Will definitely be visiting again.
Very welcoming restaurateurs who pay attention to people with celiac disease, available to accommodate special menu requests.
Thanks to the owner Mr. Joseph!
Lovely place and lovely staff!
Definitely my favorite cafe in old town.
If you fancy a quality coffee or a delicious almond croissant you must go there! They sell also panini, sweet lemon polenta, which is gluten free, cheese scones and lots more delicious food. I love their new Piccolo cafe that is opened even Monday morning for your takeaway coffee.
A clean, bright and welcoming oasis in the heart of Eastbourne with the bonus of a sunny, leafy garden.
A generous menu with breakfast, lunch and tea options and - wonderful to see - gluten free choices too. Everything is homemade.
Julie, the owner and chief cake-maker, has put her heart and soul into making this a place worth visiting. You'll leave fully nourished on many levels!
Enjoy ....
Really nice place to eat. Second time we have been, this time for lunch. Very helpful staff; I am gluten and dairy intolerant so have to be careful with ingredients... staff very understanding and very helpful with my menu choices. Food was really nice with good size portions.
We will definitely be going back for more!

Lovely appertivo & live music on a Saturday evening. Lorenzo very kindly pointed me to what could be adjusted to be gluten free - we had a lovely grazing board of charcuterie such as mortadella & breseola, cheese, pickles & salad. We’ve recently been to Bologna, where a spritz and Italian meats is part of their culture, so it’s wonderful to have this addition in Eastbourne!
Hopefully as Signor Panino grows there will be a set gluten free menu, but in the meantime, Lorenzo is more than happy to chat through options.
Looking forward to my next visit!
My new favourite place. They do the most amazing grilled huss ever, a godsend if you are gluten free. Also do liver and other traditional meals, eat in. Less than a tenner.
A bright, airy spot with comfy seating and top-notch quality, this place quickly became a favorite breakfast destination.

Came here on the second day of opening, for breakfast, and were truly looked after. Staff all very attentive and polite, the resturant was light and airy and the tables and chairs all very comfortable, sturdy and fit perfectly with the aesthetics. Food and drink is a fair price but the quality superb, even the gluten free options were tastier than most GF alternatives. Tried a number of breakfast spots in Eastbourne but we have now found our favourite spot. Thank you Light at Towner for a wonderful breakfast brunch.
