We need to talk about the outstanding quality that this bakery is pumping out, all in the name of gluten free goodness. My experience started with an instore visit while I was in LA for what needed up being THE BEST gluten free bagels and donuts I’ve ever had. The customer service was on point and the goods delivered.
I live in Seattle so I resigned myself to it just being a special treat when I visited LA. But luckily for me they deliver. Getting fresh baked goods send by mail is always tricky but I was relieved to see they knew how to package and seal their goods so they arrived in flawless condition. So I’m living my best life here eating the delicious challah, donuts, cheese buns and bagels like I’m the king of the gf universe.
Go and give them your money, in person or on their website because life is too short for crappy gf baked goods, and we’ve all had plenty of those.
A vibrant hangout with an awesome menu featuring healthy and diverse options, perfect for a quick bite or a chill brunch session.

I had never heard of Parakeet Cafe until they provided box lunches for an event I attended and I will be a loyalist for life! I had their veggie sandwich on house made gluten-free sourdough, crunchy Chinese salad, and peanut butter shortbread cookie. All gluten and dairy free. So delicious! I can’t wait to visit one of their cafés.
A cozy spot with a vibrant atmosphere, unique menu offerings, and a strong focus on quality drinks—definitely worth a visit!

Great place to eat and if you’re a writer, there’s no shortage of characters here. Vegan options are delicious. Gluten free options are also delicious. Their breakfast is always divine and filling. The coffees and teas are very high quality and tasty. Desserts are very decadent and a shareable size. If you like paninis look no further. They make a damn good panini and grilled cheese. If you like spicy I recommend the Diablo panini. I also love their salads. Oh and their smoothies!!!! Superb smoothies. The menu changes from time to time with new additions or seasonal items. I always try the new items and I’m usually not disappointed. There is often a line but definitely worth it. Service is great , the people who work here have all been great over the years. The owner does a good job of maintaining a good team.
Enjoy a fantastic culinary experience in a prime location where every bite is bursting with flavor and expertly crafted.

The food is delicious and it is in an awesome location. We order:
🥑Nachos de asada: delicious and full of meat
🥣Chips and salsas: very flavorful
🌮Al pastor pork belly taco: The pork belly was perfectly cooked. It melts alone in your mouth and the pastor condiments combined perfectly.
Yolanda’s services was great. She cares about our “gluten free questions” and she was always kind, smiling and being a great professional.
We will come back!
They sent me the wrong order, food was cold, overpriced and too salty, I did not enjoy it at all. Bad experience overall, I ordered 5 tacos gluten free, they sent what they wanted to. 👎👎
This is a mixed review.
This is a wonderful place to have brunch. You're outside by the pool there's a DJ it's a great setting. Fun, beautiful people, great food.
My first visit for brunch was troubling. The server was horrible and I don't say that lightly. However I did write directly to the restaurant GM and outlined all of the things that the server completely failed on such as ever coming to the table. And he immediately offered myself and the party that was there a complimentary brunch when we next chose to visit. We did take him up on this and our second visit was much much better. The food arrived hot and delicious and we were able to order more than one glass of champagne because our server actually came back. They do have unique and epicurean style food offerings such as duck prosciutto. And they easily accommodated for gluten-free.

Chef Mings has been open every day to serve us during these difficult coronavirus lockdown days.
Your food is good and the price is reasonable.
Their spicy eggplant is so flavorful but not too hot… And the chicken corn soup is unique. They have gluten-free options and other healthy dishes.
Nice dining room, good menue. Our server Chelsia is simply the best and she made our night completely awsome, she brought great sense of humor, attention and excitement to our party! Good experience overall, good quality food and drinks. Disappointed with octopus appetizer, way too tough and rubbery. Gluten free almond pasta was fantastic! Solid branzino dish and absolutely stunning desert!
Charming decor reminiscent of a beautiful Italian town creates a romantic vibe that's perfect for a cozy dining experience.

I went to this restaurant for the very first time this afternoon, and fell in love with it. I ordered some gluten free pasta dish, with the pink house vodka sauce and prosciutto that goes with it, and it was very tasty. I fell in love with the decor of the place, it reminded me of La Go Di Garda, in Italy, a beautiful little town I had the chance to go to, many years ago. I would definitely recommend 👌
Cozy vibes and quick service make for a fun dining experience, enhanced by friendly owners who love to chat with guests.

Great food and atmosphere! Warm and cosy atmosphere you don’t find at a chain restaurant.
I ordered the vegan pasta and my kids got bolognese. Everyone had a great time and licked their plate clean.
It’s inexpensive for the speed of service and how tasty the food is.
They offer gluten free pasta and the chef can make your dish plat based.
I recommend to eat inside, the owners are always keen to chat, which adds to the experience.
Friendly staff. Delicious, fresh foods and especially appreciate large selection of organic options. More organic gluten-free options (without xanthan gum) would be even better.
I had the fun experience of dining at Wally’s in Beverly Hills before a nearby event…I tend to feel like an imposter whenever I wander into Beverly Hills thinking things like “I can’t even afford to drive through this zip code.” But despite my trepidations the experience at Wally’s was good, tasty, and above all friendly at this popular new American wine bar.
Wally’s is definitely on the pricy side…or perhaps it’s appropriately priced for Beverly Hills. (No single digit cost glasses of wine for example. French fries at $9.00) But despite the financial impact of our experience, my dining companion and I enjoyed what we got. We’re both vegetarians and had plenty to choose from.
I had the cheeseboard with 5 cheeses as my main. Nothing makes me feel like I’m living the life than eating a good cheese board…and this one was beyond good with the cheeses accompanied by honey, figs, candied walnuts, bread, and gluten free crisps (suitable for my gluten free dining partner). It was overall very satisfying.
I don’t remember the name of the cocktail I ordered…their menu changes frequently and the website menu was not in synch with what we had ordered when I got home to look it up. (But kudos to any restaurant who changes their menu with the seasons.) But it was the only bourbon / whiskey based drink available on the cocktail menu that night. It was okay. Not my favorite cocktail ever but refreshing. (And with such an extensive wine and spirits list available at Wally’s, odds are you’ll find something you love.)
The french fries were amazing. It was one of those perfect french fry experiences. The kind of fries you think about later on…that make your mouth salivate…that would have you driving back to Beverly Hills.
I also enjoyed (a lot) the cheese-puff amuse bouche they brought along.
There are many other vegetarian items on the ‘For the Table Menu’ including Moroccan Cauliflower, Salads, plus plenty of pizzas and pastas suitable for vegetarians as well. Vegetarians can also round out your experience with items from the side-dishes menu including the aforementioned pomme frites. (That’s “french fries” for the mono-linguist readers) a truffle version of the fries, Twice-Fried Smashed fingerling potatoes (because once is never enough with potatoes), spring peas, asparagus and more…so if you’re a vegetarian and approach Wally’s with a small plates / tapas mentality you’ll be in good shape.
We sat outside which is lovely and Parisian, but always with a risk of someone standing just outside the seating area smoking, giving you the extra benefit of their cigarette ambiance. (Which we experienced.)
Out waiter was funny and great.
And as an aside many items including food, cheese, preserves, and liquors are available for purchase on website.

Stopped in with some girlfriends for a quick lunch and the staff was quick to seat us and friendly, even though we got there a few minutes before they officially opened.
We shared several plates and they were all amazing and delicious, and they offered gluten free variations for the two of us with restrictions. We enjoyed the food so much we even got a couple of desserts to share!
