The food was great and they have good gluten free options. The waiter was just ok but the hostess (I believe her name was Rachel) was great. The kind of person that keeps you going back. Not a huge fan of the all open floor plan restaurants but the food was good enough it's not a deal breaker. Would definitely go back when we're in the area again.
A lively spot with plenty of games, spacious seating, and a fun atmosphere perfect for parties and gatherings.

First time to Smash Park & rented one of their party game rooms. Our party enjoyed great gluten free appetizers & had lots of fun with all the games & on pickleball court. The staff was friendly, timely, had great recommendations for planning our catering. I would recommend for your next party!

I had been wanting to try this place for a while and would have gone for some ramen if it hadn't been so hot out. The sushi and spicy edamame were good and the service was great! We were glad they had a dedicated gluten free menu and gluten free soy sauce.
Experience a lively atmosphere where delicious meals create memorable celebrations without the stuffy vibes—perfect for leisurely hangouts!

🍴 **Ruth’s Chris West Des Moines: Where Steak Dreams and Gluten-Free Schemes Collide!** 🥩✨
**The Grand Entrance:**
Picture this: Two greeters at the door, one looking *shook* like we’d crashed a secret steak society meeting. Joke’s on them—we marched in chanting, “GLUTEN-FREE OR BUST!” 🏃♀️💨
**The Feast:**
- **Starters:** Mushrooms, asparagus, and spinach dip arrived like edible confetti. My gluten-free kid grinned like she’d won the snack lottery. 🎉
- **Salmon:** Cooked so flawlessly, my daughter was happy with first bite yumyum, “This fish deserves a standing ovation.” 🐟👏
- **Sea Bass:** A *tiiiiny* bit shy on flavor (salt, buddy, salt!), but still fancier than my “gourmet” cereal dinners. 🥣❌ but combined with bread crumble topping balanced.
**Plot Twist:** Mid-bite, I spotted Johnny—my old pal from Tonic days! Suddenly, we’re VIPs in a secret wine cave, surrounded by bottles older than my *NSYNC CDs. 🍷😎
**Final Bite:** Great food, zero stuffy vibes, and service so sharp they probably iron the napkins. .**Go. Eat. Repeat.** And save me a seat in the wine dungeon! 🍽️🔑
**Rating:** 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 (Plus 10/10 for making my kid feel like a gluten-free QUEEN.) 👑

Very fresh and delish! They helped me make sure my sushi was celiac safe. They have a soy paper that is gluten free. $1 upcharge. Everything is delicious and fresh here. I have been eating here for many years, since they opened! I just recently found out I have celiac! I have tried many options and have never been disappointed! I am pretty picky too! They are my favorite sushi in the city! Well anywhere actually!
The food was amazing, the service was great… especially Deepti, she was very helpful because I have a gluten allergy and she helped me pick what items on the menu to choose. Will go again.
Delicious BBQ food. They weren’t super clear about what was and wasn’t gluten free but the ribs didn’t make me sick and the BBQ sauces all seemed fine.
Elevated sports bar vibes with delicious, unique dishes and a lively atmosphere perfect for game day and making new friends.

If you are gluten-free, this is not a good place to go. I met a bunch of friends there for a reunion of sorts. They had picked the restaurant. Items on the menu are very expensive to overpriced. If you’re gluten-free, then you have to add up charges galore. For example, their lunch pizza was on sale for $18.99, but there was a six dollar up charge for a gluten-free crust. My other options were to order an $18 hamburger without a bun, or to order chili or soup which were both gluten-free but the temperature was in the 90s so neither of those options were desirable. Even simple things like nachos and chips and queso. We’re not options because they use flour tortillas.
