I think we caught them on an off day. While the place is beautiful and the staff is very friendly, I just didn’t meet expectations. We went for bottomless Sunday brunch during what was supposed to be a special “Dia de Los Muertos festivities” week. They did have a beautiful ofrenda at the entrance. Other than that, all we got was a 50 min wait for food to come out. Some small plates we ordered never came, others were missing ingredients/toppings, one we started eating, no one checked if we needed more drinks. Now they did ask about and accommodate a gluten allergy. I greatly appreciate that. Would have been even better if it was marked on the menu. All in all, the people were nice and the food was very good, but on this day, when it wasn’t packed, we waited a long time for nothing all that special.
Experience a vibrant atmosphere with a lively drink menu and knowledgeable staff in a bustling Saturday night scene.

The staff is very knowledgeable about which items on the menu are gluten free. I recommend the curried goat stew, which is very nice. The staff is friendly, despite being in a busy environment on a Saturday night. The drinks are good and the drink menu has a nice variety.
A cozy spot perfect for special occasions, with attentive service that goes the extra mile and a menu packed with tasty options.

We had a large reservation, but there was only one waiter, which caused each step of the process to take about an hour—from placing our order to receiving the bill. I’m not sure if this was intentional or an oversight. While we enjoyed the food, nothing stood out enough to be memorable a week later other than one of the mocktails. I mentioned that I have celiac and was directed to specific items labeled as GF, but I still had a reaction toward the end of our visit. I’d say the restaurant is gluten-aware, but not truly celiac-friendly, likely due to cross-contamination. Additionally, there was no kids' menu, so I’m guessing it’s not intended to be a family-friendly environment. The atmosphere was nice and relaxing, which I appreciated.
A cozy spot with a warm vibe, where homey vegan dishes shine and leftovers taste just as delicious, perfect for a relaxed gathering.

Service is super friendly and fast, and the vegan menu is great for dairy allergies (many gluten free options, too!) Highly recommend the falafel -- it's green!
Unique bread options shine here, while the matcha impresses; just skip the coffee for a better experience.

Awesome options for gluten free here and the bread substitute they use is one of the best I've had in the area, so I would love to come back for the food!
Only downside is if you're really into coffee the drip coffee here I think is premade since it came out too quickly to be hand poured and didn't really have the flavour profile that the beans they use could offer, so I'll be skipping the coffee. Matcha was pretty good though.
Re-opened like it was never gone! Happy to see them back with the same(if not very similar) menu. Outdoor patio, gluten free options, and a great staff. ⚠️Gluten free chicken nuggets!⚠️
Bustling vibe with standout pancakes and a calm atmosphere, but be ready to speak up for what you need to enhance your experience.

So when I walked in the place was bustling. No one greeted me, which wasn't a great sign. I was all the way back near the cashing out stand before anyone said anything. They offered me a table in the louder busier room, but I declined for a table frequently sunned- two over from the bathroom- because there were fewer people in this room and the likelihood that anyone was going to choose the table next to the bathroom with all those other available was unlikely, so I would have a decent amount of peace and quiet for my meal, which was between 1-3.
I ordered:
3 Stack Gluten Free Pancakes- Buttermilk
2 Eggs
Lox on a Gluten Free English Muffin with cream cheese, capers, tomato, with a side of red onion
Small Orange juice
Real Maple Syrup (You have to ask for it and they charge extra.)
So my food came out in a timely manner, but my drink first, and the OJ was good.
Food first up: the lox with the eggs- which was a bit weird. I wanted my eggs with my pancakes, but it was my fault for not being specific. I had to also pay for and ask for an extra cream cheese because one was only enough for 1 side of the English muffin because it was big. I was also disappointed because the English muffin was not warm, though it looked edges had been toasted- nut not the middle. Weird. It was still tasty. I usually like something pickled more than capers with my lox, but the red onion added a nice touch in place of that.
The pancakes came out and they stayed warm and were fluffy. They put whipped cream on the side that was a little sweet, but it is not my thing, so I was grateful it was on the side. She forgot my maple syrup, so I had to ask for that as well as extra napkins, because the one they give you with the knife and fork is never enough. The eggs were fine.
At some point during my meal, I has something purposefully spilled on me and my table that was stinky. I sat with my back against the wall, but whatever this was got on my pants, and my phone which was on the table. It really stank. There is at least 4 feet of space between me and the table next to me, so there was no accident of a food spill- this was a foreign substance. I didn't and don't know any of the people who were present, so this was alarming. I don't know if they were staff or not, but they had on a black top, so they could have been. No one apologized, and I was really upset by this. I had to find sanitizing wipes to clean off my phone just touching the liquid. I had to wash my hands again after eating to get rid of the smell.
While I enjoyed my food, there was no dill with the lox, or any other special seasoning. Lox is yummy and salty, so are the capers, but there wasn't that extra touch. I really enjoyed my pancakes, but the almost cold English muffins was not okay, and the lack of toasting made them a bit crumbly.
As a gluten free woman, the pancakes were stellar, just be sure to be specific about any of your needs and be aware you will need to remind staff. Lox fine. I would say go, but make sure you are vocal and ask for any seasonings you want.

I was looking for restaurants near to my house and this place came up in my search. Their gluten free bread as an option for the breakfast sandwich had me sold! Also they had some gf bakery treats. I got a large matcha latte too. Everything was delivered quickly and more importantly everything was absolutely DELICIOUS!!! Omg I couldn’t even believe it. It’s so hard to find good gf stuff. 10/10 will order again.

I ordered the Broadway bowl, and I was disappointed that the vegetables were basically raw, the cheddar cheese was sprinkled on top and not melted, and there was some sort of liquid at the bottom, not sure what that was. It was supposed to come with toast, and I asked for gluten-free toast, but they were out. The people I dined with were equally unimpressed with their meals. They charge $6 for a tiny glass of orange juice. It was $100 for four of us for breakfast before tip. For that much, I would expect something incredible. Would definitely not ever come back.

The food was great, we tried so many things but somehow I only managed to take a picture of the deviled eggs. The fried rice and cochinita tacos were my favorites. I really appreciated their allergen marked menus, made ordering with Celiac a breeze.

Been to the restaurant multiple times for dinner with friends. Great service and the food was delicious! My friend was gluten sensitive and the server was very attentive to her restrictions.
I was recently here for a private event that was held outside in a tented area. The food was so so good, came out promptly, drinks were strong, and the service was fantastic! The breakfast flatbread was a surprising favorite! Would definitely recommend to anyone who is in the area looking to book a shower, or just a night out!
The famous Mount Vernon Restaurant opened in 1935. I actually had Yorkshire pudding with the prime rib and a scrumptious baked potato. Wonderful menu and great staff. I cant eat gluten and this place had lots of options. We are from Canada and this restaurant was an amazing find for us. If you can...ask to sit in Michael's section. Fantastic server and lovely guy. Dont miss this gem in Somerville

French fries in an omelette?! Yes, please. This breakfast was the bomb, and the cocktails were equally as amazing. The menu doesn't label their GF options, but they do have a designated gluten free fryer and quite a few safe options for brunch. The lemon chicken wings were also SO GOOD. Really enjoyed the vibe here, hope to be back soon!
First time trying this! They have gluten-free options for the most part (pupusas and tacos).
I ordered the 3 pupusas dish, 1 bean and chesse (plain, nothing special), 1 Birria and chesse (better in tacos I guess. Not that good) and 1 revueltas (OK flavor) It was very mediocre, nothing special honestly. You can go to east Boston for better pupusas or cristians in Somerville. 15 dollars isn't worth it. I'm sorry. Maybe come get the pupusas here for convenience of location. I wouldn't recommend.
My husband order the chicken and fries. He said the fries had a nice crispy crunch but the portion was small over all rating is 4/10. The chicken wings a 1/10, no flavor and tasted freezer burned.
Anywho! I like writing honest reviews to save people money and time. They may have other items that are better. We did take-out, the guy at the counter was super helpful and nice. 3 stars for the customer service!

Genuinely amazing! The staff was so kind and friendly. You could really tell that everyone who works there is genuinely excited about the amazing food and want to share the experience with you. Very authentic Brazilian.
My cousin spent a year in Brazil and I spent a year working at a Brazilian restaurant elsewhere in the states and we were both thrilled with the selection and quality. My cousin says Modelos Market Cafe is the only place in Massachusetts he trusts to get an acai bowl. The cheese bread, the pork, the juices and the desserts were all mind blowing.
We also had someone with us with dairy and gluten allergies and they were able to have an amazing time as well.
Definitely going back even though it's hike from where I live.

It was my first time trying Detroit-style pizza and I really enjoyed it. The staff accommodated food allergies and dietary restrictions well. Loved to see non-alcoholic and gluten free beer available too. Vegan cheese is available for the pizza. I’ll have to come back and try some of the other veg-friendly options they have.

My partner and I live right across the street from Mike and Patty’s and it’s become a bit of a staple in our house. When I’m not ordering sandwiches there, I’ll pick up their English muffins and house mayo to use at home. Service is always speedy and very friendly.
While I still make regular stops there, my only wish is that they had more gluten free (celiac safe) options. My partner used to be able to dine there regularly until their menu changed to allow space for more fried foods and cross contaminants. She misses the hash browns so much! Overall, I’m a big fan and excited to see what else M&P’s has in store.

Juliet is the restaurant that helped me love the Boston area more. The food, the people, the fellow diners, are all outstanding. My partner is celiac and vegetarian and we are able to eat at Juliet with confidence every time (highly recommend the omelette!). But even if you are not hungry, it’s well worth stopping in for a drink (cocktails and wine menu are a dream come true!). If we lived closer, I’d be there every day.
