Best salmon I've eaten in a decade! How do you do what you do? I'm a 35+ year local, and from day one onward, the food is always excellent! I was so delighted by the many gluten free entree options, and the best treat was the *gluten-free* fried green tomatoes (which my husband and cousin always order everywhere we go, but I am unable to enjoy, myself) I had 2 all for myself since I never get to have any, and everyone agreed the were the best they'd had, anywhere! YUM!

Absolutely loved the buffet so many options if you are a vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free. The ambiance is so cozy and service was on point. Loved the watermelon juice it’s at the bar.
WOW! We popped into this small cafe for lunch, on our way through Asheville on our honeymoon and it was a great find! Upon being sat, we asked if they had gluten-free items on the menu, and the staff and the kitchen bent over backwards to adapt dishes. When they discovered that it was our honeymoon, they offered us complimentary champagne to toast. Meg had a terrific egg salad and smoked salmon plate with truffle oil and parmesan fries. I had a pork tenderloin over peas and shallots, which ended up being slightly overdone. When the staff heard that they instantly pulled it off the bill, then gave me a salad and the best burger I've ever had in a restaurant. We finished up with a terrific bread pudding and a strangely compelling kaffir lime and chile panna cotta that was just fantastic. Next time I'm anywhere near Asheville, I'll go out of my way to visit again. Thank you, Fig Bistro!
