My husband and I chose Strada for our wedding rehearsal dinner catering. Our wedding was originally the weekend of Hurricane Helene, but even amidst the chaos, the Strada catering team got in contact with us to communicate that their kitchen was down, and issued a prompt refund. When we rescheduled our wedding for June 2025, we reached out to see if they would be able to provide catering- this time, my husband was on a strict dairy, soy, gluten and egg free elimination diet. The Strada team worked with us to ensure he had a meal he could safely eat, and also worked to accommodate the vegetarians in our wedding party and my celiac disease. They clearly labeled every allergen, which made everything much easier when we served the catering at our venue- and the food was delicious. We were Strada fans before, but now we’re Strada stans! Highly recommend them for your catered event.

Bad food for the price. Only really good as a gluten free option, but even then it's still very expensive for what you get. Pancakes suck too.

We had salads and pizzas delivered for our large group one night. They were fast and efficient. Salads were fresh and delicious (Greek salad). The pizzas satisfied our cravings and went perfectly with the wine we had at home. Solid crust and ingredients. We had a guest that was gluten free and she was able to pick her option and enjoy a great pizza alongside everybody.

A great experience from start to finish. My cousin has a gluten allergy and our waitress Carly and the manager Ian personally made sure everything was safe for her to eat. We appreciated going above and beyond for that. Try the elote dip!

I love this place. I've been here a few times and I like it more the more I visit. The food options are numerous for me (Gluten allergy) and I'm all about organic foods. They are also very conscious of allergies and accommodate accordingly. The staff is friendly and playful, too! They clearly care about the principles of this place. And atmosphere is nothing special, but gets the job done. 5 stars for sustainability though, with their steel cutlery and plates. Come check it out! Totally worth it.

omg!! the pictures online do this place dirty 😭 i went here for brunch recently and I ordered the porky breakfast bowl. best food ive ever eaten. I have celiac and my waiter made me feel so safe. and the food was delicious. seriously. like oh my god. I had their cinnamon apples as a side and UGHH so good!! I highly recommend this place to any gluten free or celiac ppl in Asheville. :)

We had a great dinner at Addissae tonight. We ordered the vegetarian platter for two and everything was delicious. The staff were gracious and we had the pleasure of chatting with the owner after dinner. I was really pleased to learn their injeera was gluten-free, as well, since many restaurants use wheat blends. We’ll be back often!

We stopped in for an early dinner tonight. It was our first time at Nine Mile and needless to say, it was amazing. We brought some family from out of town, some with dietary restrictions, and they had plenty of options for gluten free/dairy free meals. I had the Kingston 12 (not pictured) and would highly recommend it! We will definitely be back!

White Duck Tacos are a must if you're in Asheville! The tacos are amazing, staff is friendly, and the location on the river has a great outdoor seating space! Great for gluten free needs and very dog friendly.

IT WAS SO AMAZING I CAME HERE 3 TIMES IN A WEEK. I CANT RECCOMEND THIS PLACE ENOUGH. It deserves 7 stars. Everything is gluten free and celiac safe. all the staff is wonderful. Everyone was very accommodating and the owner Jason was absolutely kind beyond means. Each time I came here and tried something new. I can't even tell you that I've had a favorite because everything was new and had unique flavors. Just the fact that everything is gluten-free means that there's so many different options to try. I loved every flavor I had. The portions are huge! The food is fresh and everything is cooked there. There was not one bad thing I could say about this place. Theres not one thing that I disliked here. Id come back a million more times. From the whole fish, to the pandebono, to the fish stew with coconut milk, everything is to die for. Amazing restaurant and amazing quality. Everything is perfect. The food comes out fast too. Well done.

Stopped in here hoping to see some gluten free options and was surprised to find not only biscuits, but full brioche loaves! They also had THE only oatmeal cream pie I've had in over 15 years of being gluten free. Amazing!

Honestly, if you don't need gluten free then the food tastes good. But gluten sensitive and celiac please stay away. I got gluten and so so sick. The dish I had ordered was naturally "gluten free" and dairy free. Marked on the menu. The waitress seemed to acknowledge and act like they would be careful. Unfortunately, cross contamination happens here.

MOD pizza is easily one of the best custom pizza places around. I got to a point I was paying for thicker crust at places like Blaze Pizza but I absolutely love the thin crust at MOD because they don't burn it and the taste is amazing. A variety of topping choices and gluten-free options as well!

Our lunch was delicious! The restaurant and city are recovering from the hurricane, so the menu was limited, but very tasty! We had delicious salad, sweet potato fries, the soup of the day, and a BLT wrap with slaw. The salad and fries were our favorites. Great gluten free options, and a nice cafe location with patio. Went in for dinner tonight and got a table for 3 after maybe a 10 min wait, which was amazing. The host was super friendly and got us situated. Our server (Asil) greeted us with waters and sold us on hibiscus teas, stating if we didn’t like them we could swap them out. We ordered pretty quickly after. We ordered cauliflower for an appetizer, falafel gyro (gluten free) with potatoes, lamb gyro (gluten free) with a side Greek salad, and a chicken kabob platter (no dietary restrictions). I expressed our gluten sensitivity to the server. She seemed to be understanding of what we needed. After that she never came back except to drop the dishes and I mean literally drop. Halfway off the table. No check back, no water refills, nothing. I realized upon trying my salad there were croutons, which I can’t have. We waited, waited and waited. The whole table finished everything (minus my salad) and still no sign of our server. It wasn’t until another server overheard me say “I guess our server forgot us?” that anyone checked back at all. She took the salad and went to correct it. We sat there a while longer and then our server finally came over. I explained the salad issue. She said “yeah the salad has croutons” like I was supposed to know that even after a full discussion about me being gluten sensitive. She eventually came back with the salad…dropping it as if I was wrong for having an issue. It was almost confrontational. I’m not sure how else to describe it. Everyone else at the table had long since finished their meals so I asked for a box. She stormed back over with 4 boxes. “I brought different sizes because I don’t know what you need.” Over the treatment from the server, who literally didn’t provide service throughout the entire meal, I got up and brought her my card. I asked “have I offended you in some way?” A nearby server promptly quipped “no one’s offended we’re just really busy” to which our server said “yeah I was just really nervous because your salad was taking so long.” I responded stating she never checked on us once… Long story short…the food was excellent…BEWARE if you have dietary restrictions though….the service however was so poor that at that price point we won’t be back.

Just had an unforgettable meal at Gemelli’s in Asheville and had to share! If you’re craving authentic Italian—think house-made pastas, risottos, and desserts that taste like they came straight from Italy—this is the spot. The atmosphere is cozy and European-inspired, perfect for a date night or family dinner. Favorites from our table: the cacio e pepe, calabrian scampi, and the cannoli (seriously, don’t skip dessert!). The staff is warm and attentive, and they offer gluten-free options too. I had the best salad and they accommodated all of my requests for Cooking the chicken and olive oil only. And it was my birthday and the pastry chef made sure she made me a special gluten-free homemade chocolate chip cookies which were incredible and fresh out of the oven. The manager Heather was fantastic as was our server Kristie and were able to get me the recipe for my cookies. Love this place highly recommend.

This is a great place!! We enjoyed our delicious burgers & fries at the huge outdoor seating area with our 2 dogs. Their gluten free bun was pretty good too. We then shared a piece of their gluten free carrot cake and OMG!!! We'll definitely be back!

This was the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. I had a misunderstanding with the waiter, but the way they handled it was beyond unacceptable. I specifically mentioned that I’m gluten-free, but they still brought me soup with gluten noodles. I assumed they would substitute it with rice noodles, as that’s a common practice in most decent restaurants. When the soup arrived, I politely informed the waiter that I couldn’t eat gluten and wouldn’t eat the soup, as I hadn’t even touched it. I asked for a replacement, but instead of accommodating my dietary restriction, the waiter rudely responded, “That’s your problem, you have to pay for the soup,” and then walked away without offering any solutions. The service was absolutely horrendous. They didn’t care about my dietary needs or the mistake they made. The staff here clearly doesn’t care about their customers at all. If you have any dietary restrictions, be prepared to be treated like it’s your fault. You’ll be forced to pay for food you can’t eat, and they’ll just shrug and tell you it’s not their problem before walking away. I will NEVER come back to this restaurant again. Avoid this place at all costs if you value basic respect and decent service.

Best salmon I've eaten in a decade! How do you do what you do? I'm a 35+ year local, and from day one onward, the food is always excellent! I was so delighted by the many gluten free entree options, and the best treat was the *gluten-free* fried green tomatoes (which my husband and cousin always order everywhere we go, but I am unable to enjoy, myself) I had 2 all for myself since I never get to have any, and everyone agreed the were the best they'd had, anywhere! YUM!
