Wife is gluten free and most of the menu is GF. You would never know it. It tastes better than any other Mexican food we have ever had. Birria tacos, cornbread, carne asada tacos, enchiladas, EVERYTHING was top notch. We were in town for one night and ate here twice!
Experience an inviting atmosphere with beautiful decor and a menu that keeps everyone happy, making it a top dining choice in town.

Great food and service beyond the call of duty! I called to check out gluten free options and spoke with Chris, the GM and chef,. When I told him my wife's favority was eggplant parm he took some eggplant out of the fridge and ensured that we had a custom made gluten free eggplant parm when we arrived and ordered, Food was terrific, prices reasonable and service stellar
Charming spot with a cute vibe and fresh, made-to-order delights; perfect for a quick, satisfying stop before your next adventure.

The most delicious desserts in the Triangle area. The atmosphere and the service is great too. Halal and gluten free options are plus!
This spot is a cozy brunch haven with unique menu items and potential, but it's currently struggling with service and leadership issues.

First time here and we loved it. We came for breakfast ..the food was delicious, very friendly staff and fresh squeezed orange juice that was amazing. For the gluten sensitive like me, the GF waffle was actually better than about any other regular waffle I've ever had! We have a new favorite place while we're in town visiting! 🤘

I’ve been a regular at Kababish for years, and just getting around to posting a review.
Their food is delicious - fresh and full of flavor… consistently. The staff, many of whom are family, are friendly and attentive.
I have celiac, so I cannot eat gluten. They are aware of gluten free needs; most items are naturally gluten-free, and they can easily modify many dishes to accommodate many dietary requirements.
This gem tucked in downtown Cary is my favorite in Cary - because of the food and the welcoming atmosphere. It’s my go-to for my birthday, and Mother’s Day as well!
My favorite dishes are butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, kabobs, and lahora bhindi (okra). And of course the mango lassi!

We've never had a bad meal here. Whether reservation or bar walk in the service is great. And the food is superb. Gluten free options on practically everything... except on bread for the amazing mussel wine sauce.
A popular spot with tasty seasonal pastries, a spacious outdoor porch, and excellent coffee makes it perfect for a casual hangout with friends.

I love to go here with friends for coffee and pastry. My favorite is the chocolate walnut cookie. It's a huge amount of walnuts held together with chewy, tasty chocolate cookie. It doesn't matter to me but it is gluten-free. Several of the items change seasonally. I have had excellent mini coffeecakes, scones and muffins in various flavors. Their plain croissants are my favorite in town. I often get a sandwich (usually on a croissant!) or salad to go for later. The quiche flavors change as well. Today was my first quiche from here. Not only was it a huge piece but the eggy part was so fluffy, the crust was flaky and the chunks of ham were a nice size. I'll be getting quiche again!! The only downside is the place is popular so parking and getting a table can be difficult at certain times. They do have outdoor seating so when the weather is good, tables are easier to find.
This bright and welcoming spot is perfect for brunch, offering a cozy vibe and a menu filled with delightful options for everyone.

Had an amazing experience given our dietary restrictions. I am gluten free and my husband is dairy free. Our waiter was very helpful and asked the cook for recommendations. We were also approached by the manager to ensure we got what we wanted. Felt very cared for and everything was delicious. Highly recommend this restaurant/location!
We ate here for lunch on Sunday and it was delicious. They have awesome gluten free options. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was hot and yummy. The tables were social distanced and everyone we saw was wearing masks. We'll definitely eat here again.

If pizza were a superhero, V Pizza would be its cape-wearing, cheese-slinging alter ego. I mean, I walked in thinking I was just grabbing a slice, but I left with a full-blown love affair with this place!
First off, let’s talk about the pizza. If I could marry a pizza, it would be a V Pizza. They are all so fresh and flavorful, I half expect the pizza to serenade me at the table. The crust? A glorious masterpiece—crispy yet chewy, like a warm hug for your taste buds. And for my gluten-free friends, fear not! V Pizza has gluten-free options that are so good, you might start questioning your life choices. “Gluten who?” you’ll find yourself exclaiming with a mouthful of deliciousness.
Now let’s get to the drinks. Craft cocktails and craft brews that are brewed “in-house” at their sister restaurant, Flour & Barrel. I tried a craft beer that paired with my pizza like it was a match made in culinary heaven. I’m pretty sure the bartender is part wizard because he conjured up a drink that had me feeling like I was sitting on a cloud made of mozzarella. You can order at your table, the V Pizza bar, or head into the adjoining “Side Door” cocktail lounge.
One of the best parts about the Side Door is the vibe. It attracts a wonderfully diverse crowd, from pizza lovers to cocktail enthusiasts, and there’s always a buzz of laughter and conversation. You might even find yourself making new friends at the bar—after all, who can resist bonding over a shared love of pizza and cocktails?
The staff? Let’s just say they are as friendly as a golden retriever with a tennis ball. They practically rolled out the red carpet for me. I felt like royalty as they took my order, and I half expected them to present my pizza on a velvet pillow.
In conclusion, if you haven’t been to V Pizza yet, what are you doing with your life? Stop reading this review and go experience the pizza love affair you’ve been missing! Your taste buds will throw a parade in your honor 🍕🥳
A charming spot with a stunning ambiance, known for its delightful dishes and attentive service, perfect for special occasions but a bit on the pricier side.

What a special place. It was our first time here and our server Andy made us so welcome. The atmosphere was so festive and the food was delish. I was thrilled that a fine Italian restaurant offers a wide variety of gluten-free dishes. Looking forward to my next visit!
Expect a vibrant brunch scene with unique cocktails and a diverse menu, though the service can feel a bit rushed at times.

Amazing food, friendly service, a little pricey. Expansive gluten free and vegetarian offerings. Everything was cooked hot, fresh, and tastey. The biscuits with sausage heavy weren't nearly as good as the dish my friend ordered with sausage, veggies, potatoes, etc. I'll go look up what it was called and edit the review. About half way through early lunch, we were getting a bit of " you know I can get you a to go box for the rest of your meal". It was nowhere near closing time. I was clearly still eating. There was almost no one in the restaurant. Let me enjoy my leisurely brunch.
Experience a vibrant atmosphere with delicious dishes and top-notch service that makes every visit a delight!

We had a large gathering with a dog. They were so accommodating to food allergies as well as to our dog. They have a pet menu and our dog loved the pupwich. The gluten free bun was great. The food was delicious. It was a cold night but the heated patio was cozy. It was my first visit, but certainly not my last.
Experience a lovely outdoor vibe with a diverse menu, great wines, and deliciously creative dishes that impress at every turn.

Very tasty food. Not a lot of gluten free options, though what they had was delicious. They are also aware of general food allergies and could adjust well. The Baja Bowl with carnitas was delicious.

If you’re looking for a cozy spot with good food and a relaxed vibe, Pineapple Sol is the place to be! This charming eatery offers a mix of indoor and outdoor seating options, including 8 tables and a breakfast bar inside. There is also 4-top seating the lovely courtyard area. Whether you’re dining solo or with a group, there’s a spot that suits every need.
The menu caters to a variety of dietary preferences, offering vegan and gluten-friendly options that don’t compromise on flavor. The acai bowl is a standout – fresh, vibrant, and perfectly balanced with its toppings.
Ordering is easy and straightforward: you place your order at the register, then select your seat, giving you the flexibility to settle in wherever feels most comfortable. The overall ambiance is inviting, and the service is friendly and efficient. Pineapple Sol is perfect for a quick bite or a leisurely meal. Highly recommend stopping by for breakfast or lunch if you're in the area!
Good Indian food with plenty of vegan and gluten free options.
Alert: their rice-based breads are NOT gluten free. They will tell you if you ask. My bad for making assumptions.
In-house brews shine with delightful red ale, lager, and cider, making for a memorable family dining experience.

If I could give a ten-star review for Kennedy I would. She got our complicated order perfect. She welcomed us and made every change that we needed...included a gluten-free guest. She was awesome...the food was terrific. Can't wait to come back!!
Great food, and it came quickly. We were a group of 6, 2 gluten-free. Desert took a while but the staff did not rush us. The manager even stopped by the table once,
Terrific place in downtown Cary. Had many options for gluten free, vegetarians and vegan diners. The patio was great and had a nice view of the town park. A good walking spot after dinner.
Good burgers! They have gluten free bread for the bun. Their kettle chips are delicious!
We went back to try their pizza and they got our order wrong several times. We waited like 40 extra minutes, and they ended up giving it to us for free because it was so long (and the free order was still wrong, haha). The gluten free pizza was just okay, tasted a lot like a cracker. My husband ordered regular pizza but they made it gluten free on accident twice so he didn’t get to try the regular crust. I think it’s so loud in there it’s tough for to them hear unfortunately. The owner was very kind but there was a lot going on! We had no trouble ordering over the phone at lunch time when it was quieter.
I’m giving 4 stars because the food was good. But we didn’t have a great first experience here! We had a coupon for bogo for literally ” any item on the menu” and the coupon had the menu on the back. We called and ordered 2 lunch ACPs (from the menu on the back of the coupon), and when we got there they claimed it “wasn’t a menu item” so the coupon didn’t apply (???). There were no exclusions listed on the coupon. Just from a customers perspective—that is not a good first experience at a restaurant. My husband talked with the lady there for like 10 minutes and they still wouldn’t honor their own coupon. It’s not about the cost or the coupon, but the principle of customer service. Now we won’t be as likely to come back, whereas if we were treated better, we definitely would because the food was good! (Also, on a positive note, they do have gluten free options labeled on the menu, which is very much appreciated.)
So, I'm giving it 5 stars but I can't vouch for the actual chicken and waffles. I'm gluten and dairy free so this restaurant's main attraction I can't enjoy.
HOWEVER, I can vouch that the salad is fresh and delicious. The dressings are flavorful and fresh. The candied pecans are a wonderful topping.
The squash reminds me of my Nonny's southern cooking. Every bite took me back to her table.
Everyone else I went with LOVED their chicken and waffles and I trust their judgment.
Everything from the service to the food is top notch. Being gluten free usually puts a damper on fine dining but not at Herons. We go every 3 months for new menu changes. It is so worth it!

Delicious! I had lamb kabobs, fried finger potatoes and kimchi rice. Wow wow these items were satisfying & Gluten free too💪🏿
The lamb chunks were tender, flavorful and generous portions for the price on all 3 servings! I’ll be back. Definitely worth a visit. I enjoyed the Ubek decor…fun and colorful 😎
