This place is now 100 percent gluten free. I confirmed Celiac safe with the server. No gluten in entire restaurant and they are cautious with product sources. To top it all off, they make their own honey on their rooftop. My husband and I were so excited to discover this lovely restaurant. The staff is also amazing. Support this restaurant, we need places like this to stay open and thrive. Mahalo and Merci Bistro Hortus!
Experience a vibrant atmosphere with delicious eats, warm ambiance, and plenty of options to cater to different dietary needs!

I may still be young and not a big restaurant explorer, but it's the best restaurant I've been to in Quebec or in my life. The ambiance, space and bathrooms (guest only, good sanitary idea) are not luxurious, but are just right. The service and wait compared to other restaurants is fair. Server entertained my curiosity about the format and menu. You can take it comfortably if not finished (Take Mega size only if you are a serious bodybuilder 😅). Putting the word Poutine in the name of the restaurant makes a mark, but it's diverse! And just the idea of a paperwork version of a buffet is incredible; Give a list of ingredients, choose what you want, and the plate is cooked personally. (Junior format with a good number of additions still makes a reasonable portion). Me who must be healthy, gluten-free and sugar-free... sincerely, you are putting me on the path to loving the word restaurant again. A bit luxurious for my pocket, but if it's the occasion; to Poutineville, Quality Price, Favorite. !!LONG LIFE!!
A cozy spot with a fun vibe and homemade sodas, offering customizable options and quick service, perfect for a casual hangout.

Homemade sodas, poutine, burgers and milkshakes. Top quality classics! I would definitely go back! Gluten-free bread available for burgers (but I didn't taste it) quick service outside the tourist season, as it can fill up quickly during meal times in summer!
Enjoy a diverse selection of delicious burgers with plenty of customization options and a welcoming vibe, perfect for a quick bite before your journey.

We enjoyed a nice meal at Chez Victor before our train. We have several celiacs in our party and so eating out can be difficult! The gluten free burger at Chez Victor was delicious and our server had a great knowledge of allergens. A shared fryer meals anything fried is off limits which is a shame but the salad alternative was delicious. We would definitely return to Chez Victor if we were in the area again!
A spur-of-the-moment stop turned into a delightful experience with unique burger options and generous salad sides, all thanks to a helpful server.

Gluten Free & vegetarian friendly menu. Super easy to navigate & the servers are very helpful. The staff are so kind and speak both English and French. The food was AMAZING! One of the best gluten free buns I’ve had! I don’t know what’s in their lemonade but it is so good !
Enjoy a unique spot known for its diverse lunch options and a standout poutine breakfast that leaves a lasting impression.

The burgers at Chez Victor restaurants are absolutely fabulous. I was disappointed with this restaurant in particular for the atmosphere that said. And ESPECIALLY don't order gluten-free bread if you don't want your burger to look like lint. Finally I asked for normal bread to be brought to me because the gluten-free bread was very small, tasted nothing and in short it was frozen bread that they didn't even toast. For people who have to eat gluten-free, go your way. I'll probably have a stomach ache but at least I got to eat the burger. Disappointed...
