Rarely do I sit after a meal and have to leave a review immediately. I’ve been gluten free for about three years and there are things I miss desperately, like a good waffle. They’re always so grainy and dense. Not here! This is legitimately the best waffle I’ve ever had. Not just gluten free, just the best. Period. The cider is amazing, servers are friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is super chill. Emily, our server, could answer all our questions and was very knowledgeable. My wife had the fish and chips and the fish was also gluten free - the batter was perfectly crispy and a great fish to batter ratio. If I could give 10 stars I would.
A cozy spot with a welcoming patio and a laid-back vibe, perfect for brunch and unique gifts, drawing in regulars with their charm.

CELIAC FRIENDLY!!!! thank the lord they had an entirely separate gluten free menu. The staff are knowledgeable on celiac versus gluten free and knew what we could/couldn’t have. I will say it is a little pricey around 25$ for the omelet and a coffee with oat milk. The coffee was great not too sweet but not bitter either! Super friendly and inviting atmosphere. Def recommend coming here
This spot offers a rich history, amazing value with generous portions, and a chill vibe perfect for a casual hangout.

CELIACS BEWARE!
This is a warning for anyone who truly needs a gluten free option. My wife ordered GF pasta after thoroughly discussing her GF needs to the waitress. They brought my wife her food, and when she was about half way done...someone from the kitchen comes to the table and tells her to stop eating.
She had almost eaten her fill, of gluten. My wife doesn't have Celiacs, but she is very intolerant of gluten. It puts her in bed for 3 days and causes a depression for at least a week. I know there is no one person to blame, but "they" hurt her. It's hard, and scary, enough to dine out with GF allergies. It doesn't happen much for us, we carefully choose where and what we eat. This was more than a let down for us. With that being said, I've loved the food for decades. I won't eat there again, because they hurt my wife.
With a lively atmosphere close to the ballpark and a variety of options, this spot is perfect for a fun night out, especially pre-game!

Very cool restaurant with an awesome whiskey selection and very cool reasonably priced cocktails. In fact, the entire menu is reasonably priced especially for a place right across from the ballpark. Service was fantastic as well! Super impressed with our server and drinks and food came out quickly. I got the three meat sampler and overall it was good. The brisket and pulled pork were excellent and the sides (coleslaw, potato salad, and popover) were great as well. The ribs however, were almost inedible. They were so over cooked and borderline burned. They were also so small and had almost no meat on them. Incredibly disappointing. Can’t give a BBQ restaurant more than 4 stars with that kind of miss on the ribs. Also of note. the person I was dining with is gluten intolerant and asked for the gluten free menu (super cool they have a special menu!) However, the only difference between the regular BBQ combo and the gluten free combo is that the gluten free one doesn’t include the popover and the combo was still the same price…that’s a little perplexing…I would think that if the meal didn’t include something the price would be a little less.

Always friendly staff, cool patrons, excellent food and drinks (Grace made us some lovely Earl martinis last night), and the best vibe in town! Plus, they always have good music playing. Plenty of gluten free options and never any cross contamination. My favorite dishes are the fish tacos and beet salad :)
With a dog-friendly patio and a variety of delicious options, it's a chill spot that's sure to please any palate!

Brisket is fire. Service is great, but I was annoyed by the staff member who kept referring to me as "friend" (I don't even know her). The atmosphere is fine, not special but clean. Baked beans and fries are also very good. I have a gluten allergy and don't get sick eating here!!

I was visiting St Louis for a conference and Hi Point was recommended not only as a good burger spot but because they serve a gluten free bun (I'm celiac). It was the BEST burgers I've ever had, genuinely and truly!! The Toklahoma is out of this world. I may visit again just to get a burger! 10 of 10 stars!! The staff was great, the food is great ... Don't miss out if you're in town!

I had heard nothing but great things. I decided to come as they had gluten free options and it’s rare to find a place with a GF hot dog bun.
The gentleman who took our order was very nice and the food came out efficiently. The taste of the food (2 dogs and a brat, two fries) were great, my nieces enjoyed theirs a lot. Mine tasted great, although the GF option isn’t really a hot dog bun…it was more like a sub sandwich bun. Within an hour of leaving this place I was SO SICK. Nausea and severe stomach pains - which is what happens if I am accidentally exposed to a fair amount of gluten. While I understand this is not a dedicated gluten free restaurant, I have eaten at many other places that are not either. I suspect Steve’s Hot Dog cross contamination practices are very lax & this is disappointing. If you’re going to offer GF items, you need to be knowledgeable and attempt to at least not make people sick!
Before we left, we waited to use the rest room (one was out of order). An employee came out and he had the worst smelling B.O. I have ever experienced. We were gagging in the bathroom. It sort of grosses you out when you know someone is working in the kitchen and they have a body odor issue like that.
