Had a morning business meeting and Hello Stranger staff were so accommodating, helped me join tables together and added a bit of banter which was well received.
We went here due to the reviews on catering for Coeliac’s, I was very impressed with the range of Food and that they had separate kitchen areas to prep Gluten Free food for Coeliac’s
I felt very at ease and safe to eat here due to the knowledge of all the staff.
Food was great

Have been here before and enjoyed the experience so thought we’d give it another go.
Smashed Avocado Bagel (with Salmon as an add-on) was generous and the salmon portion very generous. Bagel was very tough to cut with a knife though but maybe being gluten free had something to do with that? Very tasty though.
We also had the Poke Bowl which was underwhelming. Not the traditional bowl at all, as it was on a plate. No sign of coriander in the rice, no kewpie mayo, no crispy shallots and no sweet chilli (all were advertised on the menu). Pretty disappointing for $32.90 and our two meals and bottled juice made it an $80 lunch.
A cozy hidden gem known for a balanced menu, amazing coffee, and an inviting atmosphere that keeps guests coming back for more.

A beautiful, cozy cafe! We had breakfast in the café and absolutely loved it. There are many vegan and vegetarian options. I had the granola and can recommend it to everyone. The taste is simply indescribably delicious! Plus fresh vegan yogurt and almond milk. Also fruit paste and fresh fruit included. There are plant-based milk alternatives to choose from. The food was really nice and carefully prepared. Therefore it tastes and looks great! Since we were so excited, we took our lunch to go with us: the vegan panini and a “vegan and gluten free peanut chocolate bar/cake”. I still dream about both of them now because they were so delicious! The panini had a delicious vegetable patty. The chocolate cake/bar was so creamy and delicious! If I had the opportunity, I would definitely be a regular customer of the café! Therefore a recommendation from the bottom of my heart. Thank you for this great breakfast experience!

Highly recommend the La Forestiere if you're a mushroom lover. The flavours are sensational. I was having trouble deciding what to have and the wonderful server recommended if I'm a mushroom lover to try it.... she was right, I can understand why it's her favourite.
Great option for Gluten free dining, including a selection of French sweet treats in the cabinet. Yum.

Nice brunch spot. Staff member said big breakfast could be gluten free and then served it with hash browns that weren’t gluten free. Shouldn’t be hard to get gluten free hash browns or just not suggest that as a gluten free meal.
Bustling vibe with nice views and good parking, perfect for a lively gathering, though it can get a bit noisy for intimate chats.

Really lovely staff. I have specific diet restrictions and they kindly made me a toastie on gluten free bread. Most of my group got coffee and the big sausage roll. What a great deal. The sausage roll really is big!
Great vibes with spacious yet cozy seating and helpful advice, making it an awesome spot for a casual pick-up and hangout.

A perfect little cafe that we visited every morning for breakfast on our honeymoon. Catered to dairy, gluten free dietary requests. Lovely coffee and highly recommend the porridge, full breakfast and chicken for lunch. Very friendly service too and had my coffee made every morning before I even had to order!
A vibrant spot with stunning coffee that delivers on flavor, plus an artsy vibe to enjoy while soaking in creativity.

Omg the way the woman made it, the temperature and flavors burst and quenched totally my thirst- bude- my dudes, true 💯 thirsty. I absolutely praise this AVC, fact be i drank a good cuppa yum tasting coffee as if it got sugar cane, milk - almond gluten -free , or whatever , IN HEAVEN, geez Girls it was soooo Good, and yet I love it Black. This was a high key cafe ( how you say coffee, yes) ok. Coconut milk latte was delicious and my daughter loved her dairy free almond milk iced coffee. I'd love to see more allergy friendly treats (e.g. sweets that are free from especially dairy, egg & gluten)

Eastwood has been a favourite in thenpast(great location good coffee and gluten free options) this time coffee was below average and not much choice on food for gluten intolerant
Love this place as it caters to all of my dietary requirements. Protein smoothies, plus they have gluten free products. The customer service is excellent and their coffee is amazing.
Coeliac's will be impressed!!
They don't charge Coeliac's xtra $$$.
What a great little cafe. Good prices and a relaxing atmosphere.
Food is beautiful and most of all they cater for Coeliac's and menu has many option, Staff will discuss any concern you may have with the chief's and even allow you to read the food labels. They have a great understanding around Coeliac dietary requirements. Just let staff know..
Would like Zippy's to cook gluten free frys in their own oil to stop cross contamination.
Will definitely be back.

Terrific venue for my 60th birthday celebration. The buffet was continuously refilled and food selection was perfect with just enough options to satisfy all tastes. Trail Kitchen even made up two seperate gluten free meal and dessert plates.
A lovely setting looking out towards the wonderful Redwoods/Waipa Forest.
Highly recommended and a very reasonable charge for the buffet.

I thought that this place was excellent 😊
The pools are just private enough (could be more private) nestled in amongst the trees so beautiful.
I found the stuff to be friendly and helpful we hadn’t booked but we’re able to get in quickly anyway.
The burgers we had were delicious and they had gluten free options 😊
Best cafe in rotorua. A steak dinner here is half the price that I would pay at any place in eat street, and is easily the best tasting over all of them. Coffee is reasonably priced and not burnt, smoothies are fresh and really tasty. Slices are consistently delicious. Owner is a really genuine guy, awesome cafe. Gluten free options are available there, my coeliac son ate a brownie and loved it with no reaction whatsoever.
In a beautiful position overlooking the lake this cafe is good. The breakfasts are excellent and they do gluten-free versions too. You have to book for an evening meal but the food is excellent.
A charming coffee spot boasting delicious brews and warm owner vibes, making it a perfect home-away-from-home in Rotorua.

As someone who frequents as many coffee shops as I can when traveling to different places & searches reviews for the best ones, Fix Cafe was an absolute GEM during our 3 days in Rotorua. Amazing coffee!
The couple that owns the shop are so lovely & friendly from the moment you walk up to order. On top of that, the Latte is perfectly made and delicious. We came here each morning during our time in Rotorua for coffee, smoothies & a friendly conversation with the owners. They gave us a ton of recommendations for our trip and it felt like a small piece of home away from home while we were there.
10/10 would recommend you swing by this shop during your time in Rotorua. Try the coffee + there are some gluten free snacks (perfect for myself) that are delicious and homemade as well. You won’t be disappointed.
So glad we came across this place!
