Chill vibes with local art, a diverse menu, and great portion sizes create a must-visit spot, though it's a bit tricky to access for some.

Really nice visit to this after a meander down Bold Street. The food was great - I ended up having their soup, and the latte was great too. Chilled vibes, and such a wide selection of vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options. Reasonably priced too, with local artists’ artwork on display for sale too.
Only downside is it’s two floors up via a staircase, so if you have limited mobility or are wheelchair bound, I’m not sure how you’d get there (unless there’s a lift I missed!)
Really recommend giving them a visit - roughly a 10 minute walk from the Lime Street station.
A stylish and bustling spot with a great brunch vibe, serving up a fantastic range of options and a fresh, inviting atmosphere.

This was an excellent brunch!! Best we found in Europe. One of my best ever. Really delicious eggs Benedict and great for me that they have gluten free too. Everything seemed fresh. Busy place but still very good service. They deserve 6 or 7 stars!!

This cafe was so good that we went 3 days in a row while visiting Liverpool. Very tasty dishes, no matter what we ordered. Catered incredibly well for gluten intolerance. Really friendly and helpful staff, and nice atmosphere. I’ll miss those poached veggs!
Charming cafe bar with a relaxed, hippy chic vibe, offering a delightful selection of leaf teas and unique options catering to various diets.

We came here as the restaurant looks so nice. There were lots of empty tables but took so long to be seated. We explained my Mum was gluten free and they left a book of ingredients on our table with no explanation of what my Mum could order. To say the service is slow is an understatement. We waited ages for our drinks and food. My Mum's gluten free sandwich was dry, no butter and tasteless. We then waited so long for the bill I had to go up to the bar to pay. There are so many wonderful, quirky places to get here so I would most definitely NOT recommend Leaf.
A cozy spot known for its diverse menu, great portion sizes, and a welcoming vibe that leaves visitors eager to return.

My partner & I visited a few days ago during a trip to Liverpool, and we’re so glad we found it! The food was fab, and the whole place was lovely. I am gluten free, and my partner is vegetarian, there were lots of options for us both. The portion sizes were great, and we both left saying it’s a shame we aren’t in Liverpool more often! Will definitely visit anytime we’re in the area
A hidden gem in Liverpool with a cozy vibe, spacious interiors, and great window seating perfect for people-watching.

The rewards for walking up the long flight of stairs up to Rococo are more than worth it. Beautiful breakfasts, coffees and cakes. Service is friendly and efficient, and everything tastes fresh and delicious. There are lots of different sofa, table and high stool seating options spread over two floors. A lovely setting to have a coffee break or something more substantial. Meat and veggie menu with gluten free bread options for the sandwiches
Known for its detailed allergy menu and helpful staff, this spot offers a cozy atmosphere perfect for a return visit with friends.

Tasteless and dry breakfast.
Very good service but the food was so disappointing. The beef was very hard and I was struggling to chew. The prices are also ridiculously high.
Only pro was that they have a gluten free menu, I still wouldn’t recommend
Unique decor and a vibrant atmosphere make this spot a must-visit for a colorful experience among friends.

Went in on Friday. Very disappointing to find 11 cakes on display, however no gluten free options available. Seems to happen quite frequently, always seems to "sold out!"
A sunlit gem near the train station, this vibrant spot is a must-visit for its stylish ambiance and impressive variety of tasty options.

Just opposite Liverpool Lime Street station. We wanted a quick coffee and snack after travelling on the train and were very impressed with the cafe. My husband had a croissant and coffee whilst I had a gf chocolate brownie and tea with oatmilk. Very generous portions and tasty food.
The staff were lovely and great atmosphere in the cafe; clearly a really popular venue.
Would definitely revisit; highly recommended!
Update: I’m back 6 months later on a quick visit to Liverpool; where else would I go for a brunchy lunch?
I had 2 perfect poached eggs on gluten free toast, beautifully cooked and very tasty too!
It's expensive, but everything is great. They have gluten-free brownies, a little dry but delicious. I had a coffee with vanilla that was delicious. I would take it again with great pleasure. If you get a good table you have cool views, it is on the second floor and you can see part of the port of Liverpool from afar.
Love the Healthy Range of food and drink whether it's cold or hot. The staff are very friendly and helpful in regards to helping with dietry needs (my friend wad a gluten free vegan). The Pastry is lovely I would highly advise trying the almond croissants with a hot chocolate. It's always brightly lit and lively in here, yet still cosy because of the comfortable seating. Even when it is busy there is always excellent service. I would highly recommend coming here.
Went with a group of friends. Food excellent. Knowlegeable about gluten free and cross contamination which was so reassuring for someone with Coeliac disease.

I had a really excellent birthday meal here. The Thai food is extraordinarily good, very tasty, and nice and fresh. It was all extremely well done, and great value for money. The cafe is bright and spotless, and the staff are wonderful too. I have a severe gluten allergy, and told the cafe beforehand - they were very accommodating, and made sure they talked me through their allergen menu, and prepared everything separately. My partner is vegetarian, and their veggie and vegan options are supper tasty too. Couldn't recommend highly enough!
Why haven't I been here before!? Table for 7 catered for including a vegan and celiac (gluten free). The food was delicious! We all enjoyed our dishes and they were all large portions. None of us could finish everything! Our waiter, Markus, couldn't do enough for us. So friendly and welcoming. The only thing that spoilt it was the noisy table across the room, so we struggled to hear our conversations. Much better after they'd left. But that's no reflection on the restaurant. Would definitely recommend and I'd go again.
A bustling gem with gorgeous vibes and a dedicated menu, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere even when it's packed.

Hands down the best place on the lane, gorgeous food, gorgeous coffee, gorgeous staff and gorgeous vibes. It’s always so welcoming and friendly and so so busy which says it all !! Even when busy the staff are always polite and try their best to accommodate everyone. For the coeliacs among us, there is a dedicated gluten free menu as well, so I always feel safe eating there. 10/10 really!
