The food was excellent, (an amazing range of options for such a small operation) and prepared with real care. Excellent provision for gluten-free (cross-contamination caution). Staff and service was warm and accommodating. A wall display of superb photographs shows the stunning local scenery at its best (and are for sale). We were able to reserve tables. If we lived nearer we'd be regulars.

Very good at catering for food allergies/intolerances, including a lovely free from everything cake which my son loved. Food is lovely, service is friendly, though not quick. This was our second visit, unfortunately the lovely gluten free rolls from the previous visit have been replaced by baguettes which are not nearly as good. Only other downside is it is expensive for small portions. Would return again due to them catering for our dietary needs.
This charming cafe offers a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere with cozy indoor tables and a small outdoor seating area. It is especially suited for those seeking gluten-free options, providing a safe and pleasant dining experience for coeliacs and gluten-sensitive guests.

Have eaten here many times over the years, and never disappointed! As a Coeiliac eating out is tricky and often anxiety inducing, but never had an issue getting something gluten free here, and best of all no reaction afterwards from cross contamination. Staff are welcoming and accommodating, there’s always a great range of food on offer, locks for the bike racks too, so you don’t have to worry about someone walking off with your bike while you have one of their amazing milkshakes! The cafe also organise a great range of rides, it really is a welcoming and inclusive place with a lovely atmosphere 😊
This cozy cafe features gluten-free options clearly available in the cake cabinet and main menu, with staff happy to discuss choices. Enjoy a lovely interior or the garden tent for distanced seating, all while watching birds at feeders through large riverside windows.

Visited today after a walk around Mam Tor. The cafe was lovely and all the staff were really accommodating and so so friendly, plus lovely food and coffee! Dog friendly and gluten free/ dietary options too. Spoke to the lovely owner who was telling me how she made the leap to open her own independent cafe. Will definitely be back with my dog Lola when I’m next in the area!!

Small and cosy, some seats inside and a bench outside. Very pleasant service and accommodating with dietary restrictions (gluten free options on cakes and also gluten free bread for sandwiches available on request) Doesn’t have bathrooms but only a few steps away from the bus station and public conveniences.

Cafe good, service is quick. A decent choice on the menu. Only issue I am gluten free due to coeliac allergy. They don't have any gluten free bread . Despite the petrol station about 40 steps from the kitchen selling Schar gluten free bread which is very good.

Met a friend for a stroll round Hathersage as its midpoint. After a lovely walk we stumbled on this place and were take with the cute sun trap of an outdoor area. The waiter was very helpful in explaining how it worked between eating inside or out, on this stunning day, we opted for outside. Now as a coeliac, I was truly expecting either no treat options or the usual pre packed dry, boring brownie, so I.ahine my excitement on discovering the whole separate top shelf of cakes were gluten free. The choice of 6 different items and not a boring brownie in sight! I opted for a lemon and pistachio blonde and can honestly say it was the BEST gluten free dessert/treat I have ever had the pleasure off. It was equally matched by a delightful decaf cappuccino and fantastic customer service.
I can highly recommend and look forward to my next return. My only complaint is how far it is from my hometown, but I can't hold it against them 😉
