If you are gluten free and you havenât gone to Josephine GF, youâre doing yourself a serious disservice! I got several items and the cranberry small loaf and breakfast waffle were probably my favorite. Quite honestly I ate half of what I got before I even made it home. Highly highly recommend!!
With a trendy industrial vibe and delicious coffee, this spot is a go-to for tasty treats and cozy ambiance but check hours before visiting!

I have been here three times because they have gluten free brownies and now I am pretty sure this is the most overhyped bakery in this area.
1. the staff are totally untrained in even basic human courtesy. They act as if they are giving free food to the customers.
2. The brownie size, appearance and taste are inconsistent. Once we were given a broken brownie that was half the thickness of a decent one on the shelf. 5$ for that is beyond ridiculous.
Overall, would never recommend this place and actively discourage others from going there.
The food was good but i got a to-go order of a gluten-free serrano sandwich and itâs UNCOMFORTABLY BRIGHT blue. i tried to call to asks what could have happened or if it would be safe to eat but they donât have a number :(

love having this spot close by for a breakfast stop. Where else can you pop in and expect organic milk lattes, organic eggs and incredible breads made from unbrominated flours?
Where their service and skill truly shined was the catering for our baby shower. We eat a diet low on additives and preservatives and wanted the event catering to be full of healthy and delicious foods. Le Pain Quotidien really delivered on this. The tartines were delicious and we were able to take care of a variety of dietary needs for our guests. The gluten free, and vegetarian options let us serve everyone. The veggie tray was a stand out as the dips were so good. Plus the beautiful wooden display trays were a boost to any decor.
It was all so healthy that I did not expect positive reviews from guests, yet a number of people contacted me after the party to ask where the catering was from.
The ordering process was simple and they were really helpful making suggestions, answering questions and even making a number of changes along the way.
The day of the party delivery was seamless and exactly on time. The service was excellent.
With a spacious, cozy vibe and an impressive pastry selection, this bakery is a perfect spot to unwind with friends or family over delightful treats.

I recently visited Tatte Bakery in Bethesda Kenwood, and it was exactly the pick-me-up I needed! This spacious bakery provides a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for meeting friends, colleagues, or spending quality time with family. The selection of pastries was impressive including gluten-free options, which were a delightful surprise. My latte was rich and creamy, and pairing it with the pear tart was a match made in heaven. I highly recommend trying the cherry pistachio tart and the apple pie as wellâthey're simply delicious! The staff were friendly, attentive, and brought our order right to our table, making us feel well taken care of. The only hiccup was with the clearing staff, who were a bit clumsy, but it didnât take away from the overall wonderful experience. I can't wait to return!

Such a great little cafe! Stopped in here an ordered a hot latte, an iced chai, a crugel, and a vegan/gluten free muffin. My friend and I really enjoyed both our drinks and food, I thought the crugel was particularly delicious!
