Turning point is a great spot to go to if you're hungry and looking for a quick breakfast or brunch. The only problem is the long wait times that usually occur at every location. The food is fresh and they even have gluten-free options. My girlfriend hates that I write these reviews.
Famous for its incredible muffins, this cozy spot is a must-visit for baked goods lovers and coffee enthusiasts alike.

I am a bit confused about everyone praising the GF chocolate chip muffins. They looked gorgeous but they were on an uncovered tray right up against a tray of regular blueberry muffins. I was not at all comfortable with the high possibility of cross contamination. Not sure why other people with celiac were ok with that…
A charming spot with a cozy vibe, homemade ice cream, and delicious treats, perfect for a delightful break during your adventures.

Five stars aren’t enough! This place is lovely, the food was homemade and delicious and there’s gluten free options. The owner was super friendly and very careful to cook the gluten free sandwich in another pan. We also tried the scone with some tea and it was absolutely marvellous. The whole place has a very cosy vibe that made it feel like home, and the owner does all the work by herself, which is impressive. If we ever go back to High Bridge, we will totally visit again!
My wife and I enjoyed going to J-Petal. The facility was clean and the staff was helpful in explaining how the rolled ice cream works and what’s included. It is expensive at $6 for a cup of rolled ice cream with 3 complimentary toppings. Fortunately, I enjoyed the uniqueness of the treat and could see the value in the price. Also, certain days they do a BOGO Happy Hour which would absolutely make it worth it. It’s also nice that they offer other treats and gluten free options.

I love this store! Great selection of good quality food. Yes, it maybe a little on a pricey side, but you get what you pay for! I'm there a few times a week. They carry all different types of fruits, vegetables, meat, dairy, vegetarian, gluten-free, etc items plus the cosmetics, cleaning supplies, vitamins and supplements.

Really good Boba tea and rice balls!
I got the plum which is gluten free and the spam. The spam isn't normally gluten free, you have to ask to have it pan fried separately to avoid cross contamination from their fryer.

I was heading to work and saw a sign for Roast'd Coffee in Hasbrouck Heights. A coworker had recommended them so I stopped in to get a coffee. It was pretty amazing! The people were super nice and knowledgeable about the different coffees. I saw they had breakfast sweets and asked if they had any vegan treats and they did. I tried the pistachio coconut wellness bar, it was delicious. Later on I saw it was gluten-free so that's even better. It was very clean, organized and I do recommend them especially if you LOVE coffee like I do. Another PLUS is they have a QR code to their app so you can order ahead like many of us do. Totally worth the trip!
Side note: Wellness bar not in photo because I ate it. lol
