Love that they have so many gluten free options. I come fairly regularly and have never had a bad experience here. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and accomodating.

We love East Coast! It is our absolute favorite place to get burgers! They are really good about allergies (I can't have gluten, dairy or egg). The service is always quick and friendly! The atmosphere is perfect for families or a casual date night. Anytime we have friends staying from abroad it's always one of the first places we take them, and without fail they always go back and order a second burger because they can't believe how good they are!
Charming spot with a cozy vibe and generous portions, serving up tasty dishes that echo authentic Italian flavors and comfort.

Jenn was lovely! She helped me choose a delicious gluten free pasta and was very conscious of my sensitivity. Lovely family owned business that I would highly recommend!

I love great French bakeries, and this one does not disappoint. Thankfully, their cakes and pastries are not as sweet as the average ones I've tried in recent years. With so many exquisite options on display, it was hard to choose, but the cashier was incredibly helpful. She patiently guided me through the selection, explaining which desserts were gluten-free, which were lighter, and which were richer, helping me pick based on my preferences.
My husband and I decided on "The Godwin," a gluten-free hazelnut and cream cake, and "The Lincoln," a chocolate mousse cake with a liqueur-infused bottom. Choosing a favorite was tough, as both were delicious. You can truly taste the care and passion they put into their baked goods.
The bakery also has a window into the kitchen, allowing you to watch the bakers prepare cakes and fresh bread. If you're in the mood for something more substantial, they offer a lovely lunch menu, including crepes, French toast (with or without proteins like eggs, bacon, or sausage), sandwiches, quiches, and soups.
For gifts, they have a variety of thoughtful options like specialty chocolates, premium coffee, and boxes of their cakes and tarts.
I was beyond thrilled with their decaf coffee. It was rich and bold, the perfect pairing for any of their desserts. Definitely worth the trip!
The service was fast and efficient, with nine bistro tables available for seating as you enjoy your food. The ambiance is cozy, and parking is metered street parking.
Charming and cozy spot with great outdoor seating, perfect for a warm meal on cold nights, but be ready for a small price hike on special options!

Very charming and cozy restaurant on a cold winter’s night. Really enjoyed the large warm bread with the oil, balsamic and pesto to start the meal. It was nice that they had gluten free options but the +$5 additional charge was a bit of a sticker shock. However, the food was delicious (had the special fettuccine Alfredo with sun-dried tomatoes, mushrooms and grilled chicken). Service was attentive and friendly. Will return!

Excellent food. A lot of vegan and gluten free options. Spicy and delicious. The “kid who would only eat chicken nuggets and fries” also found said chicken nuggets and fries. The “only eats bread” one loved the naan. The rest of us polished our plates. The kids also loved the mango lassi and Shirley Temples :) Affordable, too!! Highly recommend.
This cozy takeout spot serves up mouthwatering, satisfying bowls and other goodies that leave you wanting more after every bite.

Had a mashed potato bowl today and it was BANGIN. Didn’t have to wait long for it to be ready, reminded me a little bit of Foodswings from back in the day. So yummy, warm and satisfying. Very cute spot and so many gluten free options too.

A local favorite for the Celiac partner and I.
Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Also, it is a great place to dine in.
Super Pro-tip: Get the Thai iced tea. You'll never not order one again. Also gluten-free.
Quirky spot known for its small plates and cute bar, but be ready for limited parking and slightly higher prices.

It's a little pricey for the tiny servings(Yes, I know it's a small dish restaurant), and they do offer a few gluten-free options, which is nice.. service always good. It's a cute place w a small bar but the food is very good.. parking stinks!
Experience top-notch quality and exceptional service where every detail is thoughtfully addressed, making it a must-visit gem.

This place is incredible. So much quality value for every item on the menu, spectacular customer service, and very knowledgeable of dietary restrictions and potential allergens in their offerings. Gluten free / celiac friendly too, they were more than willing to make adjustments and do so in a very kind way. Will definitely be back!!

Best salads in the state! They have so many options to create your own. And they secretly have the best wrap and sandwich menu around too! Plus amazing vegan options (cauliflower bites! vegan nuggets!!) and I love that it's easy to eat here if you're gluten free. I could eat Salad House every night and not get bored. I'm so happy they're bringing fresh and healthy food to Ridgewood!
Enjoy a vibrant spot with a stellar menu featuring fantastic vegetable options and creamy ice cream that delight taste buds, all complemented by seamless delivery.

Overall:
I love their menu at least all the things I have tried so far they have fantastic vegetable options that actually are delicious.
Their ice cream is so amazingly creamy and the flavors are blend well if you like multiple flavors to have two different flavor scoops like my sister and I do.
Best dishes in my humble opinion:
I love their shu mai, sesame chicken, healthy jumbo shrimp with vegetables and their mei fun is the best of any place I have ever gotten taken out from.
We order a lot especially while we were in the process of moving.
They are friendly nice, clean, polite, and deliver and their delivery people are good and polite. Plus the food is has been fairly good quality the many days we have order
Other positive things:
For Disabled or low mobility people
they have delivery that works out fine and I don't drive so that is good for me as I can't walk more than a few feet and use a wheelchair/ walker due to mobility issue from a past injury.
One day I hope to be able to go there in person and see the ambience up close as I used to go to a diner with my family as a child and it looks so much like it (at least from the street when I have passed when I did have a ride into Ridgewood a few times in the past.
Extra happy with Baumgarts Cafe because I can eat here without getting the high gluten food pain& overly spicy food pain I now get at so many of my former favorite places. Much of what I have at Baumgarts is mild enough for me but still tasty so my severe health changes have made this one of the only places I can go to without severe health side effects.
With amazing treats and a welcoming vibe, this spot is a must-visit for a cozy and delightful experience.

I went to Sweet Kitchen to buy Gluten free cookies for a client of mine. The two woman working that day 2/24/25 were absolutely lovely and very helpful. My client said these cookies were THE BEST she's ever tasted! I'll be going back again and again....everything looks amazing!

The service was lovely, my friend and I said how much we enjoyed the color scheme and cozy atmosphere. The coffee was very good as well as the gluten free chocolate cake. I definitely plan on going back! Maybe to sit and do homework as well
If you want a strong coffee and a gluten free breakfast meal then this is your go to! But if you want a sweet coffee and a muffin that doesn’t taste like powder maybe try someplace else cause 🤢
It is always a delight to come here! They have a lovely patio to sit and enjoy the day. I also found out their hot fudge is not gluten free but their new york super fudge chunk is!!!
One of the best restaurants/pizzerias in a county that has dozens of options. The staff is great, friendly, and attentive to your needs. We have been here at least 5 occasions and everytime we have left talking about how great they are and how good the food is and can’t wait to go back. I never leave reviews but after stopping in for a delicious lunch this past weekend, there was a lady sitting next to us who sent multiple pizzas back because the pizza wasn’t crispy enough( the pizzas are made with high gluten flour and designed to be chewy in true Neapolitan style ), it was absolutely ridiculous, but the staff took it in stride and did everything they could to make her happy. Myself as a bystander got mad, but the staff never changed face the whole time, just tried to help . Great service, food, and ambience I recommend S egidio too anyone who asks me where to go for pizza.
This is by far the best Mediterranean restaurant in New Jersey! The staff is great, the food is delicious and I truly feel at home when I go out to eat here. Lisa makes the best hummus in bergen county, winning number one four years in a row. I truly feel like this is the best place to go with your family and on a romantic date! They also have a variety of choices for people who are gluten free and vegetarian.
Bottom line: so good I want to leave a bad review so I can get reservations when I want.
Gluten line: very willing to accommodate and knowledgeable of their ingredients.
Bottom line: the whole thing is more about the experience. From getting the reservation, to arriving and how well they play along with keeping it hush hush, getting the code and walking to the side door, to finally getting inside and feeling the very intimate atmosphere. Wifey and I had a blast. Even the menu is only written on the large glass pictured. Servings are not as small as they say. From a culinary standpoint we were pleasantly impressed. We will definitely be back.
Packed on weekends, this spot offers unique BYOB vibes and impressive dish quality that keeps guests coming back for more delights.

Celiac Annie and I arrived on a recent Saturday evening for dinner. There was a very slight pause before being seated as the hostess (owner?) was reading off the specials in detail. It was packed and I'd highly recommend reservations (limited hours) for the weekends. We had the burrata special for appetizer followed by the white clam sauce with gluten free linguini and shrimp scampi with linguini. We've been to most of the surrounding restaurants and we seriously blown away by the quality and taste of the food. Our waiter was highly attentive and the fact that is was BYOB was a huge plus. We both cannot wait to return. Most restaurants with gluten free options usually offer only gluten free rigatoni. We loved that they had gluten free pasta to match the original dish.
