Called to place a take out order. Staff was very nice and friendly. We were given a very accurate time that our food would be ready. Four of us ordered four different meals and we were all very happy, especially my daughter who cannot eat gluten. It was so nice to not have to worry about any gluten cross contamination.

Blacking Pub was a fave spot when I lived in Courtenay years ago. Decided to check it out when I was just on a weekend getaway. The atmosphere was amazing and how I loved seeing the storm clouds pass by the beautiful huge windows that look over the Marina. Food was amazing and the were able to accommodate me being celiac. Portions were huge. Our server was amazing!! So welcoming, always smiling and quick with any of our needs. Highly recommended

Decent price for food and coffee, about $14 for their breakfast sandwhich and a 12oz Iced latte-- a good selection of Vegan & Gluten Free options too. I loved the taste of their espresso, and would suggest ordering their Americano if you want a nice, smooth, cup of coffee to pair with a baked good of your choice. Overall, the place is amazing, and the staff are always so friendly and inviting.

Popped in for a beer and some food. Nice team serving us and enjoyed the food and drink. Cool setting with seating inside and out. Also did a great gluten free beer.

We absolutely love pizza and have lived all over Canada and the USA … for a local family pizza choice and for something fun and different but affordable this is THE BEST. The quality is absolutely consistent, the options are amazing from simple to exotic. We LOVE Locals… plus gluten free and vegetarian options.

I accidentally ordered a dish I could not eat (I am gluten free) and the staff were awesome about offering suggestions and quick to deliver my food decision. I have to say that the dish I ordered smelled amazing!! I wish I could have eaten it without consequences

Pricey but worth it! Quality ingredients, sandwiches are chocker blocked full of deliciousness, soups are also full of flavour and goodness, plus many are gluten-free as are a bread selection for GF sandwiches. Baked goods too.

Charcuterie boxes were distributed as a Valentine's event at my workplace. The fresh contents were arranged beautifully, My family shared the different, delicious items, and found that between the picky eater and the human vacuum, there was something for everyone's taste. Also, I'm not sure what statement JAM & Co. makes regarding gluten, but I'll say that for the most part there was good compatibility with a gluten friendly/free diet (but I'm not a scientist, so best to satisfy your gluten concerns with JAM & Co. prior to ordering).
