We came here last night with friends. It was a last-minute decision to try Bangkok Spoon, and we've wanted to go for a while but never made it until now. The atmosphere is very nice, with partitions between some tables that create a more intimate setting. We tried a few dishes, including Bangkok Pad Thai, spicy noodles, tiger shrimp spring rolls, pepper beef, mixed vegetables, vegetable rice, and garlic string beans. First of all, I want to mention that our waiter was a very nice and courteous gentleman. However, he seemed to struggle with remembering some of our requests. One issue was that the spicy noodles were forgotten in our order, which was a meal for one of us. While the rest of us were eating, he was still waiting for his dish. When it finally arrived, our friend, who is celiac, had to double-check to ensure that the item was gluten-free, but it wasn’t. This led to it being taken back to the kitchen, and our friend had to wait again for his meal while we continued to eat. We tried to be patient, but with the two mix-ups, our food was getting cold. The waiter seemed eager to please but just wasn’t having the best night. We also asked for soy sauce, which was forgotten and required a reminder before it was brought to us. After all of these service issues, when the bill was delivered, the spicy noodles were not taken off our bill, which our friend had to ask to be corrected. It should have been done automatically without us needing to ask. Thank you for trying to make it better by giving us a scoop of ice cream. I hope that the waiter has better days in the future. Overall, while the food was very tasty, it wasn’t plentiful for four people, and the price was a bit high. For that price, we could’ve had an AYCE meal. While the food was good, the service had some hiccups that impacted our overall experience. I hope they can improve on that for future visits!

I used to love stopping here on my trips to HHSC.. the old location was better, so many incredible gluten free treats. The new location the gluten free items slowly disappeared and now there is nothing :( I would love to hear why the business model completely changed and the GF breads, flours, cookbooks and baked goods are gone. Update: Not a poor taste review. I drove by today and again was wishing you would at least explain the change. You developed a clientele who was looking specifically for gluten free items and then ditched all of us with no explanation.

My first time here and I will definitely be back. We dined in, but there was a lot of takeout happening as well. People really love this place. I was thrilled to learn that most things here are gluten-free. Absolutely delicious and lots and lots of options. First visit for brunch with friends and it was very disappointing...no coffee because their coffee machine was not working. The menu and reservation form indicates they have gluten free options and yet they had no gluten free bread/buns, so my eggs benny came without an English muffin. Overall, not a great experience.

Red Door catered a pizza party for us- our guests were greeted by the Wood burning pizza oven Dave set up in our driveway. First up out were the gluten free pizzas- a delicious thin rice dough . Then Giovanni set to work- spinning his fresh dough into perfect pizzas, with a variety of delicious toppings- and they kept coming, easily the best pizza in the Golden Horseshoe, beautiful presentation- and a lot of fun. I had sweet and sour tofu with nice noodles, absolutely fantastic! Fresh and delicious. I can’t wait to try their other vegan options. Also gluten free options makes it so much easier for me.

One of my new favourite spots! I've visited twice now & love it...food is soooo good & service is excellent. I'm celiac & love all the gluten free options - chowder is outstanding, awesome fish & chips & great desserts. Can't wait to return & try more menu items. And shout out to Delaney who served our table on our last visit - one of the best servers we've ever had! Thank you Pinbones for so many amazing gluten free options!

On the way home, I found a shop that sold Montreal-style bagels, so I went there. It looked like a Montreal bagel, so I had high expectations. There were gluten-free bagels, but they were only available frozen. But I'm happy. It won't taste good unless you warm it up, so I'll have to wait until I get home. Warm up a little and toast. It was too different to compare to what I ate in Montreal. There is no sweetness. The gluten-free version uses rice flour, tapioca starch, potato starch, etc., so the dough is chewy. Thank you for making it gluten-free.

This is the cutest store! They have a great selection. My personal favourite thing about Picone is their AMAZING gluten free pasta selection. The best GF pasta I’ve had hands down!!

went here with my sister today for dinner. the food was hot and tasty and the service from ek was great! she was prompt, friendly, and personable. she accomodated my gluten allergy and even double checked on all the add ons. will def come again!

Visited today with a good friend and my 5 year old granddaughter. Ate a burger and fries. Enjoyed a 2 scoop icecream in a cup. Bought a large coconut cream pie for my husband who loved it, his favorite. I also bought a butternut squash soup. Wholesome soup. They had gluten free cookies. Lovely staff. Clean, large accessible washrooms. Outside eating areas. Fresh fruit. Great stop in our day. Highly recommend. The juke box was awesome, chosing music, watching the old 45 disc drop.

Tried this place for the first time. There is some free parking in a private lot and some street parking. Also, a pay lot across the road. There is an accessible entrance into the restaurant, and the washrooms are on the main floor. The food was very good, lots of choices were very tasty. However, the portions were a little on the small side. Prices were fair, and our server was great. They also had gluten-free options for pasta and a bun if you were having a burger or sandwich

I had the best service today from Leah and Alex - two of the girls who work here. Even though the cafe was busy they made me feel right at home! Excellent pastries - lots of gluten free options, which made my day! I'm only giving four stars because I think the coffee could have been better. Espresso was bitter and the milk was a bit burnt, but all in all I would recommend checking out this haven in downtown Dundas!
