I have to eat gluten free as I'm celiac & family members kindly picked me up some GF morning glory muffins from Paisley Cafe to try. Wow...best GF muffin I've ever had!!! I will be making the 45 minute drive to see them soon (& I suspect often!) to hopefully get more muffins & try whatever other GF delights they have! I wish I still worked at McMaster University so I could visit them every day!! :-)
**Update - visited in person - do be careful if celiac as server used same tongs on regular gluteny treats on the GF treats. I didn't notice the tongs weren't fresh until midway through server packing up my goodies & I ended up having to give away $30 worth of treats as I couldn't eat them. My bad, I should have asked server to use fresh tongs when I ordered.

Every meal at The Express is amazing! They have delicious food, gluten free options, and are absolutely hands down my favourite neighbourhood restaurant! Always friendly, accommodating and will go the extra mile to make sure your experience is top notch. I highly recommend that you get over there for lunch or dinner and get yourself a grilled vegetable salad (with chicken if you eat that!)!

Tried their capri pizza and gluten free pizza. guess what..! Best fresh pizza I have ever had :) Finally I found the best pizza place to get vegan, gluten-free and plant based pizza. They have wide variety of gourmet pizzas with creative toppings.

A small mainly take out place with some seating options inside and public tables outside. The food was delicious! Vegan and gluten-free options. Very healthy. Decent portions. The only disappointment is that you can have it only on disposable cartons, no ceramics, but the quality and taste of the food balanced this. I recommend this place and would love to come back myself.
Warning, if you order dairy free pizza they will automatically give you gluten free crust without asking :( It looked and tasted like cardboard. The customer service to fix the error was even more terrible. Even after sending a photo, still wasn’t corrected. We’re still hungry…save the trouble, eat elsewhere!

This is the second review I'm writing 2.5 years after the previous because it took me that long to discover they bake GLUTEN-FREE and VEGAN cakes! It's their dirty little secret. A got a gluten-free cake for my birthday and it was delicious. Very dense, but very moist. And the decoration was spot-on for the theme of my party. I do think it would have been better had the layer been split with additional frosting.
Amazing spot with a spacious dining room, great prices, large portions, and easy parking—definitely worth a visit for a tasty combo!

Such a wonderful restaurant and foods. In Hamilton, compared to others restaurants I found very much reasonable price with large quantity of food portions.I recommend people do visit and try their thali set( Lunch/Dinner) Combo, Tandoori chicken items and non veg curries.
Besides it has huge parking spot.

I’ve been here a few times for breakfast. I have had the gluten-free options of their toast breakfasts, as well as gluten-free versions of the breakfast sandwiches.
If you are Celiac there is definitely chance for cross-contamination but they do a great job managing/preventing that! Just be direct as some staff are not aware of severity :)

The best HOTPOT for food and customer service!! Im celiac and on keto, so they even have gluten-free options for me! The guy who runs the place is so humble, kind and accommodating!!!! Their food is fresh, clean and consistently tasty! My favourite place to spend a couple hours eating all you can eat! Never had any gluten quality issues or reactions! I will miss this place when I move away!
