Outstanding service by Sara our server! She was fun, energetic, and when I informed her I was celiac she took her time and explained in detail everything I could have, and if she was not sure, she would check and come back and let me know . The food was amazing . I had the pan fried halibut and chips with there gravy, I have not had gravy in forever … Great atmosphere, friendly staff and a place where I will return again and again .
Fryer for GF chips but no GF battered fish and chips. When I asked some older man kept going on and on with his stupid comments/opinions and turned me off of going there anymore. Some people should just keep quiet and keep their comments to themselves. You have no idea what it's like to try and eat out as a Celiac, so shut up!

We had a great dinner here for our first anniversary! Cindy and Dave did a fantastic job taking care of my wife and I. My wife is celiac and they were able to do a great job accommodating us. The cauliflower crust was delicious! If you are gluten free or just looking for a great time and a delicious meal I would absolutely recommend!

One of the best meals I've had in Haliburton County. I had a gluten free (celiac safe) burger with side salad and it was 10/10. Cozy spot, lovely staff and delicious food. I look forward to going back.
Hubby and I like to stop here for a good breakfast when we come to Lindsay to do some shopping, they have a full breakfast,lunch and dinner menu. Many items can be made gluten free at your request. We've also had lunch items and they have daily specials plus a full array of fresh pies. I haven't tried the pies but based on the yummy meals we've had I'm sure they'd be tasty too. The restaurant is located at the back of the mall, you can enter through the mall or through the side door. Check it out next time your in Lindsay!

Ziraldo's is a hidden gem. I was there a couple years back with family visiting, we sat on the patio. The three of us felt like we were in a different place in the world (Tuscany). The food was delicious, I have Celiac Disease and they have gluten free choices available, the pasta was mouth watering. I have very fond memories of my 1st experience at Ziraldo's and won't be my last. Top Notch all around!

Probably the best place in Lindsay for Chinese food. It's always a pleasure talking with the owner and it's the best garlic broccoli I have ever had. They cater to my wife's gluten allergy and everything we have had is so delicious. Highly recommended in my opinion.

Very happy with our experience here! I am celiac and they took it quite seriously. Checked the allergen chart for multiple flavors so I could pick one. They have an "allergy scoop" protocol as well to do their best to keep you safe.
Ice cream is delicious, but beware of sizing! The "small" is HUGE! Practically a pint!

Amazing place to eat. Most meals are very reasonable priced between $20-$25. They have vegetarian and gluten free options as well. Their roast beef on a giant Yorkshire pudding with mashed potatoes is to die for!
They also have an upstairs and downstairs with different views of the fall. Looking forward to sitting on the balcony over the falls in the summer time!

Great staff, service, and food every time we’ve been for lunch and dinner. They were slammed and short staffed at lunch today, and the servers kept an upbeat atmosphere even as they rushed.
Wings are great. Ask for unbreaded if you’re gluten intolerant but don’t mind a shared fryer!
Toast came cold with no butter..asked for new hot buttered toast. Got just butter with a pile of crumbs in it for buttering cold toast. Re asked for hot toast. Finally got it. Asked about crumbs in butter... they use the same knife to scoop butter out as they use to spread the butter on toast. Cross contaminating with other breads including gluten free bread is not acceptable. Server seemed to think it was OK.

A little taste of fresh original Mexican in the heart of the Kawarthas. My son is gluten free and we were able to get him gluten free soft tacos he really enjoyed. The only negative was the fact they charge extra for sour cream and guacamole. I get it for the guacamole but charging extra for sour cream?

This is my second time ordering here. The sushi is exceptionally fresh. The rice is soft and the mango in the rolls I had today was also soft and fresh. (That’s not at all common for mango rolls)! They definitely put a lot of effort into choosing their ingredients. They were also very kind and helpful in working with my celiac disease. They modified my order and were happy to do so. They said more gluten free options are coming soon in their new menu. My boyfriend and I are so glad that we’re not sushi-deprived after relocating to this general area. The other options in Lindsay are not so great; with exception to one other location. The other spot I enjoy here is not economical. The prices are excellent here. My partner requires a lot of sushi to feel full lol so we think this is the perfect place for him. Anyways, I can’t say enough great things about this spot! It’s best for takeout as it’s in the mall; and that’s my preference for sushi anyways as it travels well and is a great dinner to bring home. There are also vegetarian and gluten free options which is so nice when looking for quality food that can be catered to your desires. What really sets this brunch spot apart from many is the quality ingredients that are rare to find in most chain restaurants. The restaurant itself is always clean and cozy and staff are so personable and friendly. This has been my favourite spot to sit in for a meal or get take out for many years and I can’t wait to visit at their new location on Kent street. Their drink options are also 10/10 and I’m always surprised by the extra touches that take a meal or drink that extra mile. Love love love this establishment!!

Quesada is easily my favourite restaurant in Lindsay as someone who is dairy, egg & gluten free. The food is always fresh and delicious! And the staff are lovely. I definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a healthy alternative to other fast food options!
