The service is excellent, they patiently explain the ingredients in the desserts. There are many gluten-free and lactose-free food options, everything looks fresh. The restaurant is full of plants, which makes the atmosphere very warm.

A great find in La fortuna! The interior decor is soo pretty and its located just a little bit outside the main downtown area. The menu was not super big but had many great gluten free options that were clearly marked. My family tried their ceviche, shrimp rice, grilled chicken bowl and Inca salmon. Most entrees came with two accompaniments, I would recommend the salad, the dressing was so good!

The service is amazing, I've rarely met such friendly waiters. It's really fun to come here, the waiters exude Pura Vida. The food is super delicious and the smoothies are also highly recommended. When we travel, we are always looking for a restaurant where you can eat well gluten-free and which is suitable for people with celiac disease - this restaurant is perfect for that. Very good burritos and tacos! These are homemade and especially the spicy salsa is very tasty! Also good service (greetings to Mary). Thank you for having an extra gluten-free menu. Although they point out that it's not exclusively gluten-free cuisine, we didn't have any problems! Highly recommended!

Do not sleep on this place! My husband and I split an appetizer and two entrees and left no crumbs! Everything was delicious. The vibe / lighting could use a little work but that is my only critique. The service and the food were both fantastic. We are both gluten free and my husband is dairy free too, and we were still able to choose from almost the entire menu. As soon as we mentioned our allergies, the waitress brought the chef out to come talk to us and discuss all the ins and outs of how he could accommodate if we wanted to modify a dish. Truly a wonderful experience and the lomito saltado blew our minds. We have one more night in La Fortuna so we are coming back tomorrow!

OMG. The steak was the best I have had in years. It's a wonderful restaurant. The waiter, Facundo - from Argentina, was amazingly engaging and helpful. Live music on a Tuesday night. Lovely thatched roof dining area. I would recommend The Secret Garden in a heartbeat. Very accommodating for Gluten-free options.

Finally something decent to eat in this country.. Good GF pizza, great GF pasta (recommending the tomato and mozzarella sauce), nice servers and what would've been a nice view if it wasn't dark out. Only dissapiontment is the additional cherge for the gluten free (1,500 colones for the 2 dishes).

This place is a must-visit in Monteverde (even with the trek) don’t miss out!!! The food was INCREDIBLE!! It was also great because they were gluten-free friendly! We had the Senda Soup, Pork Chop, Beef Tenderloin and gluten free Churros for dessert and all of it was immaculate. We don’t have any notes, truly. 10/10 recommend for food alone, but on top of that, the service was incredible - very kind, funny and personable staff (Edwin was our server)! The atmosphere was lovely and relaxing and just all around great. The price is higher but it’s definitely worth it!

If you are Gluten FREE go here - their pizza is fantastic! Amazing service, great location, perfect wine list...just a perfect date night spot! Our waiter was so understanding of my tree nut and gluten allergies. I loved my huge pizza that was gluten free, great dough they made for me. I highly recommend a trip here for dinner. We were staying at Crocs resort and just walked into town to dine here.

A cafe serving breakfast and brunch and in the evening there is an evening menu, decent desserts, gluten-free bread, gluten-free pastas. I ate an excellent chocolate + cashew cookie and toast with cream cheese, avocado, hard-boiled egg and vegetables - there are no words! The bakery.

Really awesome experience here. You need to message at least an hour in advance to make reservation. There is just one table in the restaurant and this really made the experience so special. It's clear how passionate these ladies are in providing an exceptional culinary experience sourced with high quality ingredients. It's 100% gluten free and we really enjoyed our pizzas.
