I was blown away by my custom gluten-free cake. It was probably one of the best cakes I’ve ever had (with or without gluten.) The staff was super friendly and the selection of desserts was phenomenal. If I didn’t live in another country, I would be ordering from Carefree Cakery every week! Enjoyed an excellent lunch at The Alma Boathouse Restaurant on June 3rd. Lucky for me, they have a separate gluten-free menu (much appreciated). I had the lobster roll (which was served on a GF biscuit) and coleslaw. My husband had the fried clams and coleslaw and my daughter had a salad and a bowl of clam chowder (the best chowder that she's ever had). All were delicious and the soft drinks were good. Our waitress was pleasant and efficient. Will definitely be back the next time that we visit Alma.
