Amazing food! The servers were extremely helpful with my sisters gluten and dairy allergy and she was able to eat here. Food felt really healthy and fresh. Took a while for the bill to come but overall great experience!

Me and my partner came here and it was my first ever time going to a cosy club. Our waiter Adrien was very attentive and kind, but all of the staff were friendly and welcoming. Our service was excellent, our drinks were lovely and the food was incredible. I have a gluten intolerance and was very content with the selection. They also have vegan options too. We came in for lunch the next day as well and the brunch menu was also delightful. Basically, if you want a lovely vibe in a beautiful historical building for a casual setting? This is the place. Highly recommend!

Just wow. We are so full we now can’t walk back to the car. We ordered items from the pit rather than meals and shared and my god it is well worth the money and the drive here. Incredible food that melts in your mouth. Half of the items on the menu are Gluten free or can be gluten free. Everyone was so lovely and accommodating. Shout out the the lovely Lucas!! Great selection of drinks and even brought my husband a little brownie for his birthday. Will 100% be coming again with friends.
A go-to spot for families with a variety of options, known for its casual vibe and decent prices, although the service can be a bit slow.

Staff told us the cannoli were gluten free - I’m allergic to gluten - so he got me one. It wasn’t at all gluten free (made with wheat pastry). Fortunately I suspected this before tasting it - I returned it and asked staff to check again.
This could have caused a serious allergic reaction - I fear for those with more serious allergies to nuts or milk that could be life threatening. The staff didn’t make much effort to recognise this - while they refunded it, all they said was “oh, sorry”.
Please be careful - staff were approachable and it was sorted quickly, but if you have allergies, check the ingredients yourself.
Chill vegan spot with wallet-friendly prices, lightning speed service and a wide array of cakes. A must-try hideaway.

The restaurant caters to vegans and has some gluten free options. It is in a very charming area of Bristol, close to the downs. You can take a long walk and come have lunch, breakfast, afternoon tea. The elixirs were very good. I had the turmeric and lion’s mane. My husband the cacao, mushroom and cinnamon and my daughter had a chai. Loved the drinks. I didn’t love my food. The Doner had a lot of vegan cheese that took over the taste of the wrap. And the vegan “meat” wasn’t good. My daughter liked her Ruben sandwich. My husband liked his bowl but the wrap needed meet sliced not in a massive heap, as well as more vegetables and not vegan cheese. Wait staff was really helpful.
This spot offers a cozy vibe with a creative menu and delicious drinks that keep customers coming back for more.

This place is incredible. I've been gluten free for 3 years and never have I had a good gluten free cookie. I just didn't think it was possible. This place makes them and they genuinely are so amazing so chewy. Absolutely divine, and all the drinks are delicious! Really really lovely staff and I've heard the lunches are amazing too
In a vibrant setting with great decor, this spot offers an amazing variety of delicious dishes, though service can be hit or miss during busy times.

I’ve visited Mowgli a few times in Bristol and Oxford and the food is always amazing, however, I’ve found that the service can really let it down.
Food wise, a great selection of Incredibly delicious small plates and larger plates are available, with some brilliant vegetarian and gluten free options. The sharing deals are great value and honestly include some of the best curries I’ve ever tasted.
However, on more then one occasion I’ve found the member of staff who has greeted us to seem really miserable and unhappy to be there, which doesn’t set you off to a great start.
During my most recent visit, we had to wait a while for our booked table to be free, and then once we were sat down it took a good half an hour before we were able to order as the staff were soo rushed. Once we had ordered, our drinks took about 40mins to arrive. We chose the set menus where you get starters, some curries to share and then a desert. The food was great but when we got to the desert there was only one available, and then they obviously needed our table back as we were actually given our bill before our deserts had even arrived. This made us feel really rushed and uncomfortable, which is a real shame as I had brought visiting family over from Bath just to go to the restaurant.
To add salt to the wound a £15 service charge had been added to the bill! We apologised to the waitress and said we wouldn’t pay the service for the aforementioned reasons and she told us it was because they had more bookings then they could cope with and they were ridiculously busy.
So, to summarise, great food and a really beautiful setting but too busy resulting in stressed out staff and a rushed experience!
