Jimmy's recipes are so flavourful and filling! We love them.
Having tried many meal kit companies over a number of years VegMeUp is in a league of its own when it comes to ingredient quality: incorporating products from Terra Madre, A1 bakery and vegetables that are actually fresh which can last a full week in the fridge if they need to without significantly wilting or deteriorating.
We also noticed that the portion sizes for both the two and four person plans are much more generous than any other meal kit company we have tried over the years.
Every decision that Jimmy from VegMeUp has made seems to be grounded in putting the health and well-being of his customers and the planet first (to my knowledge they are the only meal kit provider that picks up the previous weeks boxes and ice packs when they deliver the next one) and I have found him to be a super easy person to communicate with when it’s come to organising gluten free options in recipes, the most suitable time of day to get our deliveries and navigating the VegMeUp website- he really genuinely cares and wants to help make a positive difference in his customers lives through VegMeUp and it shows.
The only area we feel this service could improve is some of the instructions on the recipes cards can be a little confusing at times but we are still resoundingly impressed by the product and service and hope to be customers for life.

This restaurant is like stepping into your grandparents house and being fed like you’re family.
We only just moved to Melbourne and found this place close by, the owners are lovely, the food is incredible and the pricing is great.
Every single item on the menu can be made vegan, they are well aware of gluten intolerances etc and do awesome gluten free options.
We tried the jackfruit masala and the shahi tofu, the tofu dish reminded me of butter chicken, it was incredible.

We got Biryani and Butter chicken. First of all, most of their curries and Biryanis are gluten free which is a huge plus. Definitely the best Biryani I have had in Melbourne in a while. Nice spice level, good portion size and friendly service. Their butter chicken had a very balanced taste to it, not sweet and good thickness of the curry. Highly recommend this place and would be visiting again soon.
Expect a warm vibe with standout service, making this spot a new favorite for locals looking for a cozy cafe experience.

Coffee was great, gluten free egg and bacon toasted sandwich awesome but the standout was the staff member serving (guy with glasses around 11am).
