Ordered takeout. Process was easy and quick. Food arrived fresh and warm. I love that everything is gluten-free but the flavor wasn't for me. All five of my tacos were overtaken by a sweetness that made it hard to discern the flavor difference between them. I prefer savory tacos.

The food was clean and absolutely delicious. The service was exceptional, they let me make a take out order 30 minutes before close and served me lemon water while I waited. The atmosphere was great they had wifi and a trickling stream by the register. All gluten free options were indicated on the menu and the entire menu was totally vegan. 10/10 loved the whole experience.

Ordered probably half the menu by now. My favourite thing surprisingly is the tofu and I order it every time. I’m celiac and love how comprehensive the menu is. Most gf menus eliminate more than half the options. Actually forgot to order one dish (via skip) gluten free and they called to double check. I spent a lot but so good I always order a lot! 10 out of 10!

Dallas, the manager, was extremely rude. We have come here for 28 years and this is the first time a manager or staff was incredibly rude to me while explaining the gluten free pasta substitute and the sauce substitute. Lady, get a life and a better attitude. You totally ruined our family dinner. You are a sad case for hospitality. Will think twice about dinning here again. Whoever hired this woman, needs to rethink their decision.

So good. My 10oz steak and fries. Fries are tasty and the sauce is gluten free. This is something I can keep eating for decades! The server is an energetic young man he is very helpful

A very nice restaurant in the heart of Winnipeg. The menu online was not the same as the one we were given on arrival. We wish there were more vegetarian options as the mains are all meat and fish. Gelato was a nice surprise! *Celiacs-The messages about gluten free options were mixed. First server stated the fryer was not gluten free and the second said it was. The server was accommodating to requests to customize menu items. But then brought out a basket of bread. 🤦 Waited a few days to post this review and can say that happily I did not get sick. However I wish the messages were clearer as this kind of thing increases anxiety.

Food is always great here, what inlive is that they cater to gluten free and my vegetarian peeps. I always get my gluten free bread/ Naan here. The service was a bit slow or off when we went. Not usually must have been newer staff. Definitely a recommend if you can handle spicy they have options for that as well.

Beautiful restaurant in a great area. Our server Thor was incredibly resourceful and on top of things. I had the arugula burrata salad, and it was not my favourite thing I’ve ever had. I really did not enjoy the tomatoes in it, maybe I had a bad batch but they were so mushy, way too salty, and tasted rancid. I had to pick them all out they were terrible. I really enjoyed the burrata especially with the gluten free toast. It looked better than the baguette it is supposed to come with, and it was very crunchy. The rest of the salad was okay, but I couldn’t get past the tomatoes.

We went for the first time on Saturday night and it was spectacular! Not just the food, but also the staff and service. I am celiac and everything was explained and there were many gluten free options. We had a wonderful experience and will be back!

I had my wedding at Saddlery on Market. Roula and company are amazing. Roula was patient, easy to deal with, and made sure that my day went as best as it possibly could. She is very easy going, and has tons of experience throwing parties for larger crowds. The venue was clean, organized, and decor was set up the way I had asked. She catered the menu to my guests dietary needs, which included vegetarian, gluten free, dairy free and peanut allergies. The food was fabulous. We started the night with appetizers. They were served by staff to tables throughout our cocktail hour. We had a buffet style dinner. The food was hot, delicious, and served by staff. Finally, our late night snack was poutine and it was so good. Liquor prices and drinks were priced accordingly and reasonably. The bartenders were hilarious and loved engaging with all the guests. The venue itself had alot of space for people to mingle and we also used the separate party room for our ceremony and dance floor. Brides - you do not need a lot of decor here. The space is already phenomenal. There are some ambiance lighting throughout the main area which really made the vibe romantic. I hired the DJ that Roula recommended - sensational sound ( Carlos) and I was not disappointed. He was awesome. Knew the venue, knew how the mechanics of the place worked, set up properly, so we had no technical issues. He kept the party going all night with great tunes. I would for sure recommend him as well. It rained a bit on our day so we had some pictures outside - and the alleyway behind the restaurant is stunning. We then did pictures in the corner of the venue, and with the brick and moody lighting, they turned out amazing. If you are looking for a space that is accommodating, safe, welcoming, and just a relaxed and pleasant wedding planning experience - I would recommend Saddlery 100%. Thanks again to Roula and everyone at Saddlery who really made our day special!

The food was alright. They had trouble getting it all out at the same time for our group of ten. There is a good selection of gluten free options. The game selection was excellent including multiples of classic games and someone on staff helping out with recommendations.

So fun to go there and enjoy the buffet! They had some good gluten free options and different serving spoons for each. They showed me each dish that was gluten free so that I could lineup with the others. I can’t recall if the items had a gf label... I don’t think they did, but that would be a welcome addition. I will definitely go back!

An amazing experience! I am currently on a dairy free & gluten free adventure but wanted to treat my friend to a birthday dinner at a local legend. I wasn't sure if I would be able to have a full dinner experience or not; to my surprise, they were able to provide an experience entirely tailored to my dietary restrictions (including creating meal options not even on their menu). After following them online for a while, I finally had a chance to try Engocha’s food today and I’m so glad I did. I ordered the mixed combination and the vegetarian combination and both were phenomenal. The injera was fluffy and delicious and each component of the meals were perfectly seasoned, and flavourful without being greasy. Their injera is made from 100% teff flour which is naturally gluten free. I have not found another restaurant in the city that serves gluten free injera without a minimum of 2 days notice. Do yourself a favour and try their food. You won’t regret it.

Staff are very informative and friendly. Kind of an upscale food court setting. Food was good, a little cold and small portions. The burger place right beside it is owned by the same people, and the fries are gluten free and absolutely amazing. Very crunchy, and well salted. I had the El Pastor tacos, which were topped with nice pickled onions and I believe mangos. Not authentic by any means, but a nice light lunch.

Great menu. All I ask of a restaurant as a gluten-free person is to have a great chicken sandwich I can order without bread. They delivered! Awesome French fries. Everyone else's meals were delicious. Fun atmosphere and great service. What more could you want!

Chosabi catered our meeting/lunch for 17 people at it was delicious. We had lots of dietary restrictions amongst our team (gluten-free, pork-free, peanut-free, dairy-free...) and Chosabi was able to accommodate them all. Delivery was on time too.

We ordered Lunch Catering off of King + Bannatyne for a staff meeting. Everything was amazing. The sandwiches, sides, salads, soups were all incredible. The delivery was awesome and there were gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan options.

Best bakery in Winnipeg. Actually, one of the best in Canada. The desserts are works of art. We recently tried the chocolate mousse (gluten free), the mango cake and cinnamon buns. They were all SPECTACULAR! We shared the treats in the group and we were trying to decide which one we like best. Some thought the mousse was the best. And it was SCRUMPTIOUS! Personally, I loved the cinnamon buns. Not too sweet. Melt in your mouth goodness. Oh... SOOOOOOO GOOD!!! I would give this place 10 STARS!

Such a splendid experience! I came here for supper with a friend before seeing the ballet, and it was genuinely so great. The service was a little slow -- I noticed several tables who came in after us get served first -- but the smooth live music and the incredible atmosphere kept me from getting impatient. The food was sooo tasty. I want to especially mention the chocolate cake. I have an anaphylactic allergy to nuts, and can almost never get dessert at a restaurant because of cross-contamination. But this cake is completely nutritional-needs friendly (nuts, gluten, dairy), and very VERY delicious. My friend and I shared the slice (actually, we split everything), and we both had plenty.

Amazing ambience. Very friendly staff. My boyfriend has a gluten allergy and they took the time to explain the ingredients in the dishes and specifically removed a sauce that had gluten. I am not a fan of raw fish and had the breaded chicken bowl which was delicious!
