Amazing ice-cream place, with a great choice of ice cream, including dairy free and gluten free options.
The garden behind the shop is very cozy and relaxing place to enjoy the purchased desert.
An open kitchen vibe with a talented chef, unique flavor options, and artistic decor make this casual spot a must-visit for pizza lovers.

Ordered take-away, and didn't realize we needed to finish cooking it. The staff were lovely. But cooking the food is part of the service? . This is a very thick, rectangular, focaccia-like-bready crust (~1cm thick), not at all like a Napoli style thin-crust (just so you know, I am aware is called "Romana", but not all pizza in Rome is thick-crust bakery style).
We ordered two gluten free, the third was regular. All came with uncooked fior de latte, possibly 'home-made' (hence the pricing?). The prosciutto pizza was strangely sweet - pistachios and ... honey maybe? The salami was nice overall. The marguerita was very sauce heavy, which our gluten eater doesn't love.
It is really just too expensive - coming in at $36 per person or 140+ for a family of four ... and it wasn't delicious or convenient enough to warrant the price. All in all, we won't order again, for that price point.
A cozy brunch spot known for its delicious salmon and well-seasoned home fries, plus great drinks like Stash tea.

Went to TONQIUE for brunch with 3 friends.
The service was a little slow but they made up for it with how well they knew the menu and how to accommodate for my gluten and dairy allergies. I was able to get soy milk for my latte and gluten free bread for my breakfast plate. The home fries are seasoned well and taste so good.
My friend got the French toast and said it was a good balance of sweet and savoury with the berries. The avocado toast was also a hit. We’d all definitely come back and recommend to others !
A charming spot just outside Ottawa, featuring a cozy atmosphere, a flexible set menu, and a unique four-course dining experience.

Just a short jaunt from Ottawa we were treated to an excellent experience where the only thing that surpassed the service was the food. Please accept my apologies as this review cannot due justice to the restaurant.
The atmosphere is charming, rustic, warm and welcoming. One will not get the feeling of it being precocious.
It is a set menu...with options...where for $75 person you can really, really enjoy a four course meal that includes a soup, appetizer, a main dish, and desert. An accommodation was made for Mom as she would not be able to appreciate a four course meal so the restaurant charged by the plate.
I am gluten sensitive...and was pleasantly surprised at the availability/flexibility with just a tweak or two to satsfy my every whim (including GF buns right out of the oven). I will dare to say this is no doubt due to recipes being made from scratch, in other words avoiding prepackaged items in the meal prep.
Our server was very knowledgeable of the food, offering suggestions for different selections in order to have the best taste experience, as well as the wine pairings.
Dinner was for five...celebrating Mom's 89th birthday, with cocktails and two bottles of wine worked out to about $120 per person before gratuity.
We will be back!
Of special note there is outside seating available.
A hilarious server and mind-blowing confit de Canard, plus an impressive gelato selection make this spot a favorite for locals!

Our server was hilarious and knew the menu better than the chefs, the cheese platter appetizer was killer, the confit de Canard (a classic) blew my mind with the layers of duck, potatoes, pears, spinach, and cranberry, and they had so many flavours of gelato/sorbet to choose from we had 'em all :) And so many gluten free options! Our favourite local restaurant.
This cozy spot features comfy upstairs seating and a lovely veranda, perfect for enjoying a great beverage selection.

Gem of a place. I had the caramel latté: oat milk, decaf. Excellent. They had a couple of gluten free options. I had a coconut cranberry ball. Delish. My wife had the soya Chai and a spelt cookie. Very nice.
The main floor is a little cramped with not-so-comfortable seating. Upstairs, is easy chairs and sofa. Very pleasant. There is even seating on the veranda.
Well worth a visit.

So kind and welcoming here. Better than any place I've been too. No interact connection once, I saw them let customers leave w their food anyway. Insisted I try something gluten free on the house. Love this place before the ride home at the end of a long day. Make this place your go to for the best shawarma cravings!
