Our favorite restaurant in monte verde BY FAR. We came here twice in a row and would have come even more times if we stayed in here area longer. The food was so fresh and the portions were huge🤩 for dinner they had a sea bass special with a mussel appetizer. There are also so many gluten free options to choose from!

The smoothies are very good! They also have several gluten-free desserts and the bar is very nice. The prices are a little high, but for the quality of the product and the service they offer, it is very good. Ps. They have a shower for clients, which I think is great!

Awesome place! I have a gluten issue and they were able to accommodate. Sushi was great. Poke bowl was even better! Live band was so good! Had an amazing Gin and Tonic with cardamom and grapefruit. Hope I get to go back!

EAT AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!! A lot of the reviews are about the view, not the food! I've never had a restaurant knowingly feed me foods that I specifically stated was a severe issue for me. I eat out at expensive restaurants when traveling because I have celiac disease and have to be very careful. The reservation stated "no gluten, celiac disease". The waitress confirmed celiac disease. I was told I was being fed gluten free food. It wasn't until the meal was over that I read the ingredients on the chocolate dessert. It listed gluten as an ingredient. The manager came over and explained they can't do gf, they can only do gluten friendly. ...As an fyi, this is a safety term restaurants use in the US because celiac disease is covered by the ADA. If a restaurant is gluten friendly they need to disclose it in writting at the beginning of the meal. Anyway, the manager told me that it was my fault for eating out. If they are this flippant with gluten, they obviously believe food allergies are a made-up Americam thing. Who knows how they feel about bugs and rodents? Day 4: still in bed. Vacation ruined

CELIAC EXPLORING RESTAURANTS IN COSTA RICA Nice restaurant surrounded by nature. The fish ceviche was fresh and tasty. I ate the grilled dorado accompanied by patacones, which, in principle, were prepared free of gluten and cross contamination. However, in that process, something went wrong. I understand how difficult it is to serve a dish for a celiac, but if the kitchen staff takes on the challenge, they must do it conscientiously. The cappuccino was very tasty and they were willing to make it in a cup. My companions were satisfied with the fried snapper and sea bream accompanied by roasted potatoes and cooked rice.

I was thrilled to discover gluten-free empanadas. They were delicious! Gluten-free baked goods are often dry, dense and crumbly. This was not the case at all with these empanadas. Highly recommended!

This well hidden gem of a boutique/ coffee shop deserves to be known by ALL. It’s a unique, magical place that offers unique hand selected vintage pieces, dazzling jewelry, whimsical tarot cards and food for the soul. The owner Julie created a place that transpires good vibrations, art, eco-responsible clothing, delicious coffee and snacks (gluten free options). 10/10 would recommend.

Pizza was amazing! This is my favourite pizza. All the food was incredible. Service and staff are top notch and very friendly and kind. I cannot eat gluten but I can eat their pizza. It is the best non gluten pizza I have ever had.

This place is a wonderful gem Best sushi in the area Amazing rolls, Wide variety of options in the menu including vegan and gluten free possibilities The environment is really cozy and the staff is super friendly and kind The drink menu is wide going from wines and beer to cocktails and natural drinks And coffees. We enjoyed minted lemonades and for dinner we chose three rolls The double crunchy prawn tempura roll, calamari ceviche topping roll -and a classic Alaska roll They also have delicious desserts like Nutella roll and tempura ice cream We had a very pleasant evening and also enjoyed the music selection they had Would definitely come again

Really tasty food and good cocktails. Excellent birria and churros in particular. My wife is a coeliac. The staff were helpful and she was not poisoned, which is wonderful. The corn tacos are fine and very tasty. If we were here longer, we would go again.
