The staff easily accommodated me when I asked for gluten free noodles instead of the traditional udon (there is still a little bit of gluten in the broth, so this isn’t suitable for those who are celiac). We had a lovely meal tonight having popped in without a reservation on the basis of the reviews on Google. We shared the meatballs to start, I had the seafood chowder and my husband the chicken schnitzel. All of them were very tasty, but it would have been nice if they had done something to the gluten free bread, ie turned it into garlic bread rather than serving dry toast. Service was polite and efficient. The decor felt dated and lacked character but I would still recommend.
