Popped in for lunch on a sunny Sunday after walking around Carsington reservoir.
Huge menu, something for everyone…I had a steak sandwich which came with Stilton and red onions and chips…they were able to deconstruct and take out the bread and switch my chips as I am gluten and potato intolerant.
Rest of the my fellow diners had steak sandwich and the burger…all extremely pleased with theirs too.
Sorry forgot to take photos too hungry and busy eating! 🤣
Thanks next time we are in the area we will be back for sure!
Expect generous portions, a lively atmosphere, and a menu that keeps everyone happy, plus a few delightful dessert surprises.

6 of us went for a meal on Saturday night. I am coeliac and had the gluten free fish and chips. Fish was huge! Crispy and not greasy, chips were lovely and loads of peas. The others had, steak, sea bass, tapas and normal fish and chips and it was clean plates/boards all round. For desert the others had donut sundaes and sponge and custard. I had gluten free chocolate fudge cake and ice cream. Again good portions and we ate it all.
The staff were lovely and friendly, and we had a bit of banter with the lass that served us. It was nice and clean. Good prices. Will definitely go there again.
Enjoy a warm and inviting vibe in a charming pub, ideally located near the town center with a selection of exciting menu options.

Always a lovely welcome. Great personable service with a smile in an atmospheric pub close to the centre of town.
Nice selection on the menu with occasional new dishes.
Bonus of a local brewery's gluten free lager on draught... 🍻

Visited for my Dads birthday- both being ceoliacs we were excited to have a gluten free pizza only to be told on the day they ran out of the bases when making our order. We both went for pasta of which was not a gluten free pasta either of us like, horrible consistency and the sauces were flavourless. Other party member had lasagne which was cheesy slop and a garlic bread covered in garlic salt which had gone bitter in the oven. Starters okay and the bad food was removed from the bill after what felt like an argument over good gluten free pasta with a member of staff. Only authentic Italian thing we had was the chianti.
A cozy spot with a unique vibe, serving up tasty offerings and a fantastic hot chocolate, though service can be hit or miss.

What an amazing little find. I have an allergy and find it hard to eat out. From walking through the door the team assured me, that they were able to help. Lovely gluten free bread and the bacon sandwich was made to perfection. What with the gluten and dairy free sandwich, was the fantastic hot chocolate with honeycomb made with coconut milk. To all the team, thank you so much for your understanding and kindness. We will be back.
Really good food - between us we had a mix of fish, gluten free and vegetarian dishes. The menu had a variety of curry house standards as well as their own specialities.
Diverse vegetarian options with abundant flavors and a thoughtful menu make this spot a comforting choice for a satisfying meal.

All the allergens are marked on the menu so it's easy to be confident about gluten free (or dairy free) requirements at Praan.

The food was pretty good and plentiful. I had a veg curry and the vegetables were a bit more varied than your average Indian restaurant, which was really nice to see.
