What a fab find…. Brilliant staff, so so friendly! Food was wonderful. The Parsnip Curry Soup was amazing as was my wife’s halloumi salad. Felt like you were in your very own front room, all warm and cozy! Whether at a table or sitting in an armchair or on the settee. Brilliant find. Excellent for Coeliac’s (Gluten Free). So seek out this cafe you will not be disappointed! Thanks to all the team.

It's our 3rd visit in the past 3 years. Fabulous place to stay. Rooms very clean, beautiful, elegance in design and decorated. Staff very welcoming and excellent service. The chef went out her way to create gluten and lactose free very tasty and Fabulous Meals for me. Set in alovely Northumberland village and not far to visit beautiful locations. Easy to visit Edinburgh via train or car to Eyemouth and seahouses. Will be visiting again next year. 😍

Was initially delighted to find vegan and gluten free ice cream but totally disappointed when we tasted it. My husband had Blue sea flavour( salted vanilla). This was absolutely tasteless, did not taste of salt or vanilla, in fact it was totally tasteless. I has millionaire shortbread which had the potential of tasting of caramel chocolate and shortbread,- again it had no taste at all, if tasting blind I could not have identified a single flavour. Will never again buy a pilgrim ice cream

Just home from a weekend in Berwick , and our table of 9 went on Saturday Night. We had a vegan and gluten intolerant person amongst us and we were well catered for and the food was great !! The staff were so friendly and accommodating, couldn’t ask for better service . We will most definitely be back . Thank you

Lovely lunch crayfish jacket potato gluten-free and dairyfree with a choice of cakes too. Busy and efficient staff took the time to help with dietary requirements which was much appreciated thank you.

Kids had a nice simple pasta meal but decided not to risk eating a gluten free meal due to no allergy folder and lack of staff knowledge when asking them about ingredients. Disappointed
