This place has the absolute best fish and chips that are gluten free! We come here first thing when visiting London. Recently added the fried halloumi and it didn’t disappoint. If you really want to be bound for the future here - add a side of curry sauce and you will forever be looking for a place of equal goodness (we have yet to find it)!

I go to presto ~3 times a week for coffee and sometimes their Gluten free cheesecake. The best coffee and amazing atmosphere. I was nervous to try Presto Gluten free pizza but they went through all the precautions and told me how they would be cooking it and I felt assured. Although there is a risk of cross contamination due to flour used in the kitchen, I tried it 5 days later and I am all good (considering the smallest crumb can set me off). Not only safe but the TASTIEST pizza ever and for a GF base (which are usually cardboard) it was very tasty and crisp. Highly recommend

Many adverts of "gluten free", but it is NOT really gluten free, they use the same oven which has normal flour in the oven to prevent them from sticking - if allergic or sensitive to gluten avoid!

I really do like the location and being able to do some work at this cafe. The coffee I order is always lovely, and the gluten free toastie tastes great! However, the service each week is hit and miss, and today, was another serious miss; actually, the worst so far. I felt like I was intruding and unwelcome at the place. Excellent customer service is hugely important to me, and today's event has really put a bad taste in my mouth. Contemplating not returning now :( *** UPDATE - 01-JUNE-2025 *** Adding here as don't know how to reply to the cafe's message below. Just to inform everyone that I have been back to the cafe twice in the last 2 weeks (end of May 2025), and the service I have received both times has been superb!!! The food and coffee was always lovely, but now the service seems to be consistently excellent now as I watched interactions with other customers during my trips. So, once again, I am happy with the place, and delighted I can now return regularly to eat, drink, and work :) Have changed the Service stars from 2 to a 5.

Overall we had a great time. We had quite a large group (12) and arrived at a peak meal time so while our food did take a little longer to get to the table, the service staff was excellent, very communicative and the food was really good. Like other local places, they have allergy, friendly menus and a lot of gluten-free options. I had the watermelon edamame salad with the filet and the steak was wonderful, tender and perfect for that plate. A few folks at the table had the ox cheek and said it was wonderful and tender and a couple of people and had the wagyu cheeseburger, which was decent from their feedback. The location itself is gorgeous and all the views of the water are really nice for a great meal.

We just ordered from sushi point and went in for a pick up order and Amir was so nice and helpful. I ordered gluten-free rolls as we have a dietary restriction and love that they have options. They even have Japanese desserts. Highly recommended for eat in or take away.

Best Brownies EVER! We met pam a couple of years ago at a market and bought her brownies as a little treat not realising no other brownie will ever live up to hers again! We love them so much that I now order a brownie tray bake from her instead of a birthday cake, and this year we also asked Pam if she would make her epic brownies for our wedding instead of a wedding cake and she did not disappoint! We met with her to discuss our idea and she helped bring our idea to life, we picked all our favourite flavours and she also was able to accommodate our vegan guests with her delicious biscoff vegan brownie and options for our gluten free guests too which both went down a treat. She put so much care and effort in to the brownies she made for us, even asking to see pictures of the colours in our decor to make sure she matched the icing on the brownies perfectly to our wedding colours. We ordered more than we thought we'd need and everyone absolutely loved them, so much so we barely had any left for us!! Thank you so much Pam and the team!

We had a night out there for dinner and some drinks. They have a great beer on tap. A great selection of red and white wines. The food menu is very well put together and there are gluten free and vegan options as well. I had beef lasagna and my wife the gluten free seafood pasta. Both dishes were great and well presented. The service was excellent from start to finish. Our waiter made some great suggestions for starters and the wine. Definitely going to be visiting at least once a month!

Literally the tastiest food! Me and my friend went tonight and can honestly say the portion sizes are brilliant aswell as the taste, the chicken gyros was expertly seasoned, (and gluten free without the pitta). The Greek house is a great new Greek restaurant, the server was brilliant. will definitely be returning!

I absolutely love The Borough, its exactly what Maidenhead has needed. The drinks selection is amazing, the food is some of the best I have ever tried. They are fantastic with dietary requirements. My mum is pescatarian celiac. We emailed ahead of time to see if there was anything she could have and they were so helpful and the chef even made new dishes especially for her. The staff are all so friendly and knowledgeable and the atmosphere is great anytime I've been in. I particularly like when they have the cover artist on the guitar. I couldn't recommend it enough!
