The staff were super nice, but unfortunately that isn’t enough to warrant coming back. I really wanted to like this place but the beers were truly sub-par. We tried a flight of five and only one was worth finishing… even that one was too “outside of the box” for me. Almost all of the beers are too weird to palate. If I could give feedback to the brewers it would be to focus on absolutely crushing beer that people are familiar with, and only then try to make something crazy. (We heard the bartender mention to another customer that the beers were 99.5% gluten-reduced, so perhaps that’s why we weren’t the biggest fans! It would have been nice to know that fact ahead of time!)

What's not to love about taking the first bite of a classic burger that took me back to the 60's when burgers ruled? So delicious. Just the right portions of flavors combined to perfection. Everything about this place rivaled Arnold's Diner and every malt shop in memory. The gluten free bun was exceptionally good and the sweet potato fries the best crisp. No question that we'll be back!

Saying that the food is delicious feels like an understatement. It's obvious that Chef Bruno puts love and care into every morsel. After having to go gluten free, I've really missed Italian food. Not any more! Perche' No offers the best GF pasta I've tried in the last 10 years. A recommendation: Split an appetizer. This is a great locally-owned business! The prices are the best I've seen in Tucson. And the coffee is EXCELLENT! I strongly suggest the cortado, as it is made perfectly! There is an option for oat or almond milk.
There are excellent homemade pastries as well. Some are gluten-free and some are not. I had the warm flaky soft croissants. The vibe is relaxed and friendly. The staff are kind and welcoming!

I am attempting to "eat clean" (natural ingredients, no added sugar, no gluten, etc) after a lot of years not (it finally caught up to me). Nook is the only place downtown that has multiple possibilities to work in an anti-candita diet (think a diet for a lactose intolerant diabetic with chrones and you would be close) and still make it GOOD. What a delight! Not familiar with the area and trying to find a place open downtown prior to a show! We stumbled onto this sweet little place. We each had the bumbo combos Chicken empanadas, mango jicama salad, I had curry lentils, and my husband had black beans. Then we shared a banana and Nutella empanada for dessert! We also have their lemonade! Everything was delicious and a perfect find! Oh, we also added the cilantro lime sauce🙂 they have a full vegetarian line and Gluten free too! The atmosphere was Pleasant. Nice music. Food was served with real plates and cutlery. Cute tables and chairs, fast friendly service.
