I expected to spend a lot and leave hungry. I was so wrong! The vegan gluten free rolls we ordered were exquisite. We ordered three gluten free sushi rolls and one with gluten (husband is okay with it) and took half back to hotel. Staff is very knowledgeable about celiac’s and sensitivities.
Unique soft-serve sensations await, with incredible flavors like Ube and Toasted Niu, perfect for everyone craving a delicious treat!

So good. They have great soft serve with the benefit of also being gluten free and dairy free. We’ve come here at least once a week since arriving on-island. My favorite is the ube-niu swirl with sesame brittle.

Phenomenal allergy-friendly poke shop! I let them know I can’t have milk, wheat, shellfish, almonds, or walnuts, and they point me to the menu items that are safe for me. I have never had an issue with anything I ordered here. And the poke tastes great!
Plus, the staff is so kind and patient. Auntie even brought out the bottle of vinegar used for the sushi rice so I could check the ingredients are gluten free. The sushi rice is in fact gluten free, and delicious.
It’s not easy finding restaurants in Honolulu capable of serving customers with dietary restrictions. Ohana Poke House is a hidden gem in the McCully Shopping Center and I hope they never close. They are knowledgeable about food allergies and kindly accommodate my needs every time. Highly recommend!
Da Spot is a hidden gem in town. It has delicious, healthy affordable dishes at fast "junk" food prices and speed. The portions are plentiful so even a $6 mini plate will likely fill you up. Regular plates are $8 and combos (choice of 2 entrees) are only a couple of bucks more (same or less than McD combo meals). Plates include rice and salad or you can get all rice or all salad.
Meals are very good and include lots of gluten-free and vegan options. Yummy chicken, fish, lamb, and beef with healthy veggies, herbs, and sauces -- all ready to eat in or take out. Made-to-order gyros are available too. Tastes are from around the world -- Egyptian, Moroccan, Thai, Greek, etc. -- so there is something for everyone. The baklava is a great way to top off your meal for only $1.50. The smoothies ($3 small, $5 large) are incredible too and about half the price of Lanikai Juice or similar places. There's plenty of room to eat in the dining area and parking is available in the restaurant's reserved lot around the corner or in the Longs lot across the street.

Came here for gluten free ramen - it was awesome. Also enjoyed gf agedashi tofu. Great service, awesome staff, true Japanese taste and experience. Thank you Kaiden!!!
The sushi was good but the wrapping was loose and there were not a lot of options. The spicy tuna bowl excellent. This was a great dish for take out. Side note: No gluten free soy sauce.
We loved Kaiten sushi! Brought us right back to our travels to Japan. And, I always appreciate a gluten free soy sauce option. We will be dining here again (soon)!
