A cute spot with good vibes, offering a mix of healthy fast-casual options but often forgetting key ingredients and feeling a bit overpriced.

Okay. I do love caffetteria or at least the idea of it, so I’ll still give them a 4, but this has happened too many times not to share. Every single time I’ve gone here they forget something on whatever dish I’ve ordered. When you charge what they charge, you just can’t forget key ingredients (or any ingredients).
Cobb salad is a $17 salad - it’s marked at $16 but usually not enough dressing so I paid an extra dollar for a tiny little container of extra dressing. They forgot the avocado, arguably a key ingredient. They’ve forgotten bacon in the past. They’ve forgotten egg in the past. They’ve forgotten something on nearly every menu item I’ve tried.
Overpriced. Food is good, not great. Nothing too remarkable for the price point. It’s a cute place, though. Vibes are good. I like the idea of it. There aren’t too many places that are healthy fast casual in the area so it’s nice to have the option, but it’s annoying to have to check every time to see if they remembered the key ingredients.
Green goddess dips and chips - fab.
Hummus - no pita bread available.
Variety of sandwiches - good but nothing special.
Variety of plates - great idea, comes out a little lackluster.
Pb&j toast - ugh it is delicious but ordered this for a toddler, and I had to scoop off a layer bc there were full peanuts layered on the top of it and it was served on a very seed-filled bread - both of which most young toddlers can’t quite handle yet. My bad for not asking for a full description of it.
Breakfast items - pretty good.
Pizzas - delicious.
Bakery - great.
Coffee - pretty amateur. Not great at making lattes or specialized drinks from their menu. And why is a not so great mocha $8?
It’s fine. It’s cute. They forget important ingredients often and charge a lot for pretty standard food. If you need something after you’ve ordered, good luck finding someone to help you. Oh a positive here - if you order a salad chopped it is very perfectly chopped. And decent effort and options for gluten free. I’m sure I’ll be back, and you should go too. Like I said, the vibes are good, the branding is cute, but lots of simple sloppy mistakes made at a price that’s a little too high for what it is.

Such a cute little coffee shop and bakery in Prairie Village. I thought I had read they had more gluten free options, but sadly there were not any gluten free treats aside from a flourless espresso torte. Absolutely decadent though. Also had the oat milk cappuccino. I heard nothing but rave reviews about the cinnamon rolls and other treats.
A cozy spot in a vibrant area, featuring a lovely patio and a mix of hearty options, making it ideal for casual dining any day.

Listen, they do the best impossible burgers ever and their ranch is amazing. But maybe don't try something new...
The deviled eggs: don't make me laugh, might as well have eaten plaster it was so boring. And why 3 halves? Weird.
The drinks: "is this vodka kombucha?" is the exact phrase my bestie used for her vodka cranberry. It was awful. My espresso martini was chunky and sour (yes I know cold brew if not made right can be sour). Considering we already had to order different drinks than our original orders we just drank them.
General food is amazing here, love their gluten free options. They just need to work on the small things that make a meal.
With a boatload of options and yummy coffee, this spot serves up deliciousness that'll keep you coming back for more.

I was pleasantly surprised to have a BOATLOAD of gluten free options, including a breakfast sandwich on a GF biscuit. I’m so happy to find another GF option in town.

I only order food for delivery once a week and I try and make it Modern Market Eatery every time. Their maple mustard dressing is addictive and the way they roast their zucchini is incredible. Lots of gluten free options which are sometimes hard to come by. I really need to go to the restaurant proper if only to try something different.
The vibe is let down by cleanliness issues, as grime and food residue linger around despite a decent staff presence.

Great gluten free options. Good eats. Really nice employees. This location felt filthy though and I didn't want to touch anything, but we did come after the dinner rush
There were plenty of employees to clean up so I didn't understand why there was Lots of food on the floor and residue on door handles, entry glass, windows, walls and tables. Because of this I won't be back to this location.
The seafood here is so amazing it might break social media, but it’s worth the trip, even if you're miles away!

The halibut was so good that my post about it on Facebook got my account restricted. You can either use your imagination to guess what I said or go try it yourself. I highly recommend trying it yourself.
Additionally, I am celiac and found them to be highly accommodating. My only complaint is that this restaurant is several states away from my home.

I absolutely love The French Market! As someone with celiac, it can be tough to find delicious gluten-free options, but their gluten-free crepes are a game-changer. They’re light, flavorful, and perfectly made every time. Whether you go sweet or savory, the fillings are always fresh and satisfying. The atmosphere is cozy, and the staff is friendly and accommodating, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy a meal. I highly recommend The French Market for anyone looking for fantastic gluten-free options in a charming setting!

We love Minskys! It is a KC staple, we always get it when we have friends visiting. Their gluten free crust is awesome and I can always count on them to get our order correct! Our delivery driver Reed was super quick and very nice!
Stylish atmosphere with tasty drip coffee and unique Yoli tortillas, though eggs may not impress everyone.

Beautiful Space. The drip coffee was delightful. I’m paleo, gluten and dairy free, and I was able to eat the breakfast bowl without the cheddar. I have a 4 star instead of 5 because the eggs in my bowl & my spouses burrito were the “cardboard carton eggs”. However, they did use *Yoli* Tortillas on the burritos… my spouse was happy about that
Experience a standout breakfast spot where every dish is a flavor-packed delight, leaving patrons thoroughly impressed every time.

This was the BEST, YUMMIEST, LOVELY breakfast I've had in a long time! Our server, Grace, was excellent and attentive. I ordered the Low Carb dish, which doesn't sound great, but was AMAZING. Eggs perfectly seasoned and moist, fruit fresh and veggies not overcooked. For someone who is avoiding carbs, gluten and sweeteners, this was the best option. I was amazed at how good it was. The other breakfast ordered was also greatly enjoyed. Well done again! I've never had anything but a spectacular experience at this location.
Salty Iguana is a great place to go with kids. The decorative surroundings make for a fun atmosphere and gives parents something to talk about while waiting for the food to arrive.
The restaurant has a wonderful outdoor space that is great on nice Spring or Fall evenings.
The restaurant has a nice selection of burritos that are unique to the restaurant. A favorite is the Prairie Village burrito.
The restaurant also does a nice job of clearly defining items that are gluten free. They will even provide you with a special container of gluten free chips.
Got the which came first? B&G box. It was immaculate. I only wish they had a bigger space.
Update on my second trip, if my girlfriend wasn’t gluten free, I’d eat here every day. It’s that good.

I LOVE the quality food and atmosphere. Both healthy and comfort food. Quality coffee, healthy juice tonic blends & gluten free accommodations. I also love that their to go boxes are now earth friendly and turn into soil in 90 days so no guilt taking home that extra serving. Minus one star because Unfortunately, my juice to go was given to me in a styrofoam cup and I actually felt my body wince and recoil. They used to provide paper for coffee and recyclable plastic for juice. Hopefully they will correct this or there will be no extra beverage orders to go from me. :(
